Happier when thinner
Because it is easier to buy nice clothes that fit well.
Definitely happier thinner
My weight fluctuates and have been up and down 15 or so pounds and I definitely have much more confidence and feel happier in general when I'm thinner and at my ideal weight.
I have been a much happier worker since...

....moving the bird feeders to in front of my office window!  I just love watching them all and seeing what else comes out of the woods for some seed and suet.  Lots of red squirrels and chippy's, the occasional cute grey mouse, and I guess even deer, but I never see THEM, just the tracks and the "raisinettes" around the feeder.  Our neighbor gets tons of wild turkeys at her place, as well as racoons, flying squirrels, and skunks!  She goes through about 50 pounds of black oil sunflower seeds as well as 25 pounds of dog chow (for the skunks, racoons, and larger critters) a week!  Can you imagine?!

My other neighbor has a wild Merlin falcon (a girl named Helln Fury), who he caught and trained himself.  Very cool bird.  Can't say I've ever seen one 'round here but I guess they do exist, you just have to know what you're lookin' at when they are up in the air.

Love the wild critters and glad so many others on here appreciate them too!

Nothing made me happier when a neighbor...

was driving by and saw me outside when we first moved here.  She pulled in the driveway, got out of her car, went back in her car and pulled out a bag of carrots, walked over to me, and introduced herself as my new neighbor.  She of course brought the carrots for the critters and it was the nicest gesture.  She said she had them in her car for almost a week but she had no idea what our schedules were (I worked 3rd, husband worked first) and didn't want to bother us.

I'd leave maybe a little box of Milk Bones or some other fairly benign dog treat and a "welcome to the neighborhood" card with your name and maybe even phone number in case of any emergencies and let them know how much you like their little pooch.   Ambassador of good will kind of thing.  I can't imagine the bread did any harm but it's always best to check first.  Personally I wouldn't mention it though, just in case of some bizzaro coincidence with the dog's health status.

Hope all goes well with your new nay-ba's!

Skinny versus Plump - who is happier?

Well I reckon this will start some fires...Hope I don't get burned.

In your experience, ladies and gentlemen, who is happier?  Skinny people who are afraid of a calorie/carb/fat gram?  Or plump, curvy individuals?

Having been skinny once upon a time and now having more curves than a country mountain road, I have to say I like myself so much better now that I weigh more.  It has been an experience, I tell you that much.

So what do you all think?

HC.

I completely agree with you. Cats much happier inside. Hard
