Yes, that happened to me too. I have had lumpy breasts forever and 14 years ago had a scare similar to yours. I was fortunate enough to work in a hospital, so could work around the waiting time. I was able to get more images done the same day. Report stated rule out malignancy, my doctor referred me to surgeon, signed papers for mastectomy, woke up to a BENIGN TUMOR!!! Sometimes we are scared out of our wits for no reason. I TOTALLY understand your fear - it is normal. Hang in there and please, please let us know the outcome, good or bad. By the way, two years later I had breast reduction surgery, lumpectomy scar/section was taken away by this. Have had to undergo several "second set of views" in the years since, still okay.
