he is three years older so was about the same age as me when he was going to do this. Thinks its alright for him. Our marriage is already very rocky. I feel like rather than deciding whether to divorce or not right now I should further my education instead.

Actually, has she applied for the federal loans?
I'm sorry, I went on my own rant about private loans! Has she applied for the federal loans? All you have to do for those is fill out a FAFSA and the school should tell you how much you can get. There are two types of federal student loans and you can qualify for one of them no matter how much money you make. Those usually cover tuition and sometimes books.
The private loans come in when the federal loans aren't enough (I'm attending a private college and the federal loans aren't enough). Good luck!
Were you unaware of cost before she applied?

I saw some program the other day on TV where the
The TV program (can't remember the name) said the kids today in America have it pretty rough and so for one day a year, Halloween, let them have some fun....
Y'all don't need to be reading PAGANISM into this holiday for toddlers/little kids as I believe 90% of the trick-or-treaters do not come from Pagan families......
Give the little ones a break, please!
we are probably on different program...
I have very little problems with the program I use but we are not supposed to talk anything about MT work on the Gab board, per the rules, as I understand them.....
on what program?
nm
what email program are you using? nm
zzzz
Where do I enroll in that program?
Do they provide the class materials?????
Program for fleas
I have not heard of Program, but I use Frontline. I have not had NY problems with it. My vet charges $15 for it, but I can also get it at our local Humane Society for $10. With 4 cats, it adds up to quite a bit of money. You might want to try that.
Do you use an antivirus program? If so, what? sm
My McAfee ran out and I just wondered what you use. I heard there are "free" antivirus programs you can download from the internet. Anyone heard of that or tried it?
thanks
WW is a great program IMO (sm)
I lost 70 pounds on WW and have kept it off (up/down 10 depending on life). I believe this is one of the best programs because it gives you a very simple, almost subliminal, education about nutrition and allows you to eat just about anything in moderation.
Once one is emotionally and mentally ready to accept that lifestyle and dietary changes are necessary to lose weight (the biggest hurdle IMO), WW is really the smartest plan to follow. No fads, no prohibited food groups, etc.
I don't follow the plan currently, but what I learned and practiced for the 9 months it took me to lose 70 pounds (4 years ago), I'm pretty much programmed regarding portion control and how to undo the overdo... yeah... I'm in the process of undoing right now :-)
Good luck to you!!
Nursing program
I am 49 years old, have been an MT for 7 years and am thinking of going back to school for an RN degree. Wonder what my chances of getting into the program are (I know there's always a waiting list, but of course that depends on the school one chooses too; I live in GA), and how long this all might take.....??? I made As and Bs in high school and aced the transcription program at a local 2-year technical college...................any thoughts? Should I forget about it? I don't want to be unreasonable, but having thoughts about doing something to make more money. I have one child who is a senior in college and have 2 boys to put through college eventually, so more money sure would be nice.
good program
I used the program to sell my old house about 6 years ago. Now after 6 years in this house, definitely time to start up again because I am not thinned out from moving!
Just started again 2 months ago. I love how you start at the ceiling and work your way down to the floor, 15 minutes at a time. I love how my bathrooms are always "company clean" and my sink is shining. She is on youtube now and I used the holiday missions and it worked great for getting the christmas decorations put away! Can't say enough good things about it. I think they used to teach this stuff back in the old days for people who did not work outside of the home, but working inside of the home and not being able to keep the house clean was too frustrating! Baby steps work much better, like you said, so the dust quits calling my name!
In our area, there is a program called
"Mended Hearts". I am not sure if this is nationwide, but there are volunteers that will come out who have had the surgery, and they talk about how far they've come. Another option, I guess would be cardiac rehab, and I am wondering if that would lend some support as maybe he feels a little alone in his quest? Best of luck and hope he finds his way soon.
Weight Watchers is the best program
You can eat what you would cook every day, but it is the portion control. I used this program after having both of my children as I gained close to 100 pounds with each pregnancy (too much bread and butter). I have now stabilized, but still watch my portions. I do believe the water and exercise are a very, very important part of Weight Watchers. I did not feel deprived from sweets because as the other poster stated, the point system took care of that. If you know you will indulge, you simply cut back on one of your meals. I had a husband and two children to care for, but I still lost weight eating the same food that I served them, I just controlled my own portions. Hope this helps. Weight Watchers gets my vote.
I'm trying to lose weight through the WW program
I started during the summer and kind of fell off of it. I'm trying to lose between 30-40 pounds. My daughter became a vegetarian about 4 months ago and she already lost 23 pounds. I like my meat so I won't go that route, but I'm trying to exercise a little bit every day and eat healthier. Good luck to you and everyone else trying to lose.
Fantastic! What a wonderful program that is. -nm
As part of an incentive program- sm
I get 12 cpl, but only after 1500 lines in one day, 11 cpl after 1000 lines. Believe me, it's incentive. It really starts to add up, but the best I've ever done is about 1980 lines in one day, once, a couple years ago. This week my goal is 1800, but it's turning out more like 1600.
I used the Medifast program. It worked wonderfully (sm)
I think the HMR is all liquid which is the difference with Medifast. With Medifast, you eat 5 of their meals (oatmeal, shakes, pudding, soup, or bars) and 1 meal you prepare of a protein and a vegetable. It was very easy to follow, I never felt hungry, and I lost over 60 pounds in 7 months. What I loved about this diet was I learned a whole lot about portion control.
if you work with Horizon program, please see message
I just started working with Horizon Radiology Manager program and having problems viewing my line count. I was told by another MT that Java interfers with this program. Does anyone else have problems with Horizon and Java? I also have another job where I help out some and their program is Meditech and I think I need my java for that.
Thanks for any info.
Does anyone use Program flea meds for their pets? sm
I have three dogs and a cat that I was using a topical flea med on. We got a new puppy last week and she had fleas. I washed her and got rid of them, but now have noticed a couple of fleas on the other dogs. Not a lot, but some. I have heard that the Program works better than the topical stuff and would like to try it, but it is rather expensive so I am looking for any input before I buy it. Thanks!!
I have Avast antivirus program, and it's free also. - NM

Have you ever heard of the Weigh Down Diet program? sm
It's not really a diet. It is a matter of changing the way you eat, not what you eat. Feel free to e-mail me and I'll give you some specifics.
An Individual Education Plan (or Program)

Anyone know how to get started having a computer program made
I have an idea I have been thinking about for a while, a software program actually. I think it is a good idea but I have no idea where to begin to try to have it made and marketed. If anyone knows I would really appreciate any advice you have.
Thanks!
I did read some stations not carrying the program
so perhaps offensive in some things? I did not watch. I think Sharon probably looks the best of all the family.
Son's HS grad program listed the "Class Moto."
Ugh!
In my school district they have a "schools of choice" program.
The kicker?? Your school has to participate. Our new Supe took it upon himself to unilaterally disembowel the "schools of choice" program. Our school district is not as bad as Detroit, but I think it is getting there.
He stated "the only way anybody is going to get out of my school district is to move." And of course with the housing market the way it is, who can afford to move?
We cannot afford to send our son to a private school either. And even if we did participate with Schools of Choice, you are responsible for your own ransportation.
So, the only other choice is a charter school, but then you have the same problem - you must provide your own transportation.
PS I live on the west side of Michigan.
Body For Life is a weight loss program that worked for me.
The book is full of ads for his foods. If you can read past the ads it has great advice. The journal is essential IMHO. It is nice to know exactly what you did that "worked" when you start to drop the pounds. I do Walk Away The Pounds for the aerobic exericise part.
Most libraries own the book. The ISBN# is 0007149670
St. Vincent De Paul Society is good. Volunteers administer the program.

attitude: going to the Christmas program with hate in your heart. More important you watch that,sm
than your kids still believe in a mythical fat man who brings presents.
No experience with the program but definitely experience with the symptoms! nm

Don't know about your God, but mine
my God is more forgiving than that!
She is not doing anyone any harm, so to say she will burn in h*** for celebrating the fun part of Halloween, not evilness, is the whole reason I do not attend church!
I never did it with mine. For one, I would have been
too embarrassed. My mother used to do it, but we have come a long way since then. I find it kind of primitive. I think nothing is wrong with it in your own home, but in public, I really think you should think about it. There are all kinds of weirdos out there and you just don't know what is in their minds. I see nothing wrong with breastfeeding INSIDE YOUR HOME, but there are folks who would get offended by doing it in public. I would not be offended, but really...I think you could put some of that breast milk in a bottle before you go out.
Mine is up
and FAKE -- Me and my fam are all allergic!
Have red/white/blue/silver these. Looks awesome. Have lights up outside too!!!!
HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
Mine would be...
Laxatives
Laytex gloves
a metal detector
mine too
have to light a fire under his butt in an attempt to get him out of the house.
Mine did nothing at all, at least he went out and tried - sm
more than my DH did, though mine did ask me what I wanted, I told him, he told me to go buy it. This is typical for him. He used to get me beautiful jewelry for b-day, Christmas, annivarsary, that lasted for about 2 years or so, then it has been buy yourself what you want. I do not get bent (what is the point) though a little effort on his part would be nice. He did surprise me on our 10-year anniversary though this year, got me a beautiful opal necklace. As for the kids, my one daughter gave me 2 things, my other nothing, but she gives me wonderful drawings and such all the time, she just has a selfish streak I guess and does not think of others only herself. I just talked to her about this, maybe in the future she will remember our little talk and some good will come from it. My DH needs to learn somehow to have the kids get things for mom on special occasions, yours does too it seems. My neighbor has the same problem with her husband. Basically they are lazy people. He does none of the shopping, gift wrapping, packing to leave (except for his stuff of course), etc. He did buy 1 or 2 gifts, which I of course wrapped. This will probably never change until the kids are gone and he is an old man. I have seen it happen but not until grandchildren are on the scene and these men become model husbands for some reason, whether it is out of boredom or fear of the wife finally saying "I'm out of here, go fend for yourself", or they get struck my lightening, who knows, but beating yourself up about it is not the answer. If you are truly unhappy, get out, or kick him out. But if this is his "flaw" then either live with it, and buy yourself what you want each year or do something about it. It is your call how you deal with it.
mine went away
I had one on my nose for about a year and all of a sudden it just vanished and has never come back. It always bothered me because it was so ugly, but it never hurt and I didn't have to pay to zap it.
Two of mine have had and he will run
fever if he does not drink or eat the popsickles and get sicker. You probably know but you can cool him down with tepid water, try that. You will really have to keep up with you have to drink or eat cool, cold so he will not run that fever.
Yes, mine are
never and I mean never tempt fate. i could never say I was sick or someone else sick say if I wanted to be off from work, no, no, might come true. I have to knock on wood when I say something that is an iffy thing, don’t want to jink.
LOL, I had mine do just that
I gave him a testing tape. It took him hours to get through a page, typing with two fingers, with everything lumped together in one big paragraph, headings and all. Not to mention all the mistakes. lol He now says he has no idea how I do this. I told him I don't know either. : )
LOL! Mine does that too!
And I love how they can never puke/cough up hairballs on the tile, they always have to find a carpeted area (which stains). They can be in the middle of the tile kitchen and find the only rug!
Mine do that too! LOL!
I have tiles in my kitchen, bathroom, and laundry room, yet they decide to leave me presents in the living room or bedrooms where it is carpeted! I own a steam cleaner just for that purpose! LOL!
ok, here's mine...
Awesome: Ellen Degeneres (sp?)
Lame: Oprah
Mine is like that too. (sm)
I don't know why they so strongly believe that aggressive driving is good driving. DH always wants to drive or else he goes nuts, but when I occasionally end up being the driver, he needs to keep quiet so I can concentrate. Just because his BP is through the roof shouldn't mean mine has to be. Lately even when I'm the passenger I don't put up with it. As he starts up, complaining about traffic the moment we've pulled out of the driveway, I calmly remind him he'll live through it. He is starting to realize what a pain he is in the car.
Mine did this ONCE -
We were first married and actually WERE, uh, busy...You never saw someone hit the door running so fast. It never happened again. However, if I were you I would definitely lock my door and put up a sign asking everyone to please knock. It is YOUR house.
Here's how I got out of mine...
I called the cell phone company, said I was trying to cancel but got disconnected and had to call back. When the rep said I had to pay termination on both phones I said the previous rep said I only had to be for 1 phone disconnect fee. After going back and forth a little bit, the rep caved and only charged me for 1 disconnect fee. Worth a try. Good luck.
Mine
used to go on "business trips" and would never check in as well and came up with a world of reasons why. He was seeing other women. That also played a role in lowering my self-esteem, but now I look back and actually feel sorry for him. He's alone and will never have the respect or relationship I have with our children. It's just pitiful, but he made his bed.
I hope you have family you can talk to and get support from. If you need to email me, please feel free. I just know how you feel and I hurt for you right now, but I promise you, it'll all be okay.
Here are mine...sm
Knitting, crochet, cross stitch are my favorites, but the projects keep piling up in a corner because there is no time, and too tired to get through even 5 pages of a book at bedtime. Wish I had an adventure-filled life to blame it on.
I got mine a GPS....sm
he gets lost VERY easily so I figured he'd love it.
mine are like that too.
The last time one of them was home he straightened out one my cupboards and they like to cook with me and play board or card games.
