Look, I'm liberal, so I agree with PC of deleting scene, but also agree with your point about censorship. That movie was funny, as, ahem, heck.

I gave my husband little "bits" he could use with our daughter when she was little, basically because his dad was not nice to his sisters at all and my husband loved his little girl but didn't exactly know how to go about "stuff". He might really be open to hearing some suggestion without EVER letting him know the diary business...he might inadvertantly let the cat out of the bag. He's just seeing her grow up and who among us ever know what to do with a teen, let alone a dad with his daughter. I'm sure his ears will perk up and he will soak in some much needed "ideas" about how to talk or things he can do with his daughter.
My daughter adores her dad...she's now 25 years old. He was always a pushover for her and still is. His little girl!

I watched the feeds last night on Showtime 2 and across the screen it said that earlier in the evening, the Jury house sat with Daniele and ED and asked all kinds of questions and then went into deliberation until tomorrow night....but from the feeds, you wouldn't have known that this occurred - Daniele/ED must have been instructed to not discuss that on the feeds...and they did discuss some of the things that they were not to discuss over the summer last night on the feeds.

I cant believe it has been on here this long! I am quite sure that it is going to go fast. By the way, look up the EU, European Union. Go to Google and Images and check out the building. In front of it is a statue of a woman riding a beast. Also, their seats for the congress/senate or whatever they are called are numbered, going up to 800 or something. all filled up with the persons name, except number 666 is empty.

I've seen several posts that have been deleted over the past few months. Sometimes it is if you mention the "other board" and sometimes it has nothing to do with it. I'd like to know the reason as some of the posts were just posters asking simple questions, no swearing, nothing derogitory, etc. The ones that are moved have an arrow by them.
Need cable
You need to plug your memory card or camera via USB cable into your printer and your printer has to have the capability of printing pictures and directly from the camera. There has to be a connection to make it print. Just like hooking your computer into the printer, you need to your camera via the port.

Cable TV installer
I was wondering if anyone out there has tried this job or know anybody who has? My husband I want to work together and felt this might be a possibility. Any good or bad experiences to report? Need a change from MT. Thanks to anyone who responds.

Is there a difference between DSL and cable modem? sm
I've been working at home for almost nine years and have been on dial up. We live out in the country and DSL/cable modem hasn't been available all this time. We aren't even on the DSL list. Found out yesterday that we are going to have cable run out here and we'll have fast speed internet via cable. Is that as good as DSL? I'm really excited about this! Just wondered cable is good and reliable fast speed internet. I think anything will be better than 45 Kbps.

dsl is through phone line. cable..sm
in my opinion, is better and faster, and generally uses fiber optic lines. You can still have "outages" though, but not often. I much prefer cable. more bandwidth. have fun!

COMPUTER HELP!!! I think I somehow deleted my main user acct
Can anyone help me? My kids got me to set up user accts for them last night. I did. I had an administrator acct. It said I had to make one the administrator acct so I made one with my name on it. Then tonight I logged out of mine to switch users, thinking I could just log back in, but now it is gone!! All gone. I have a very basic user acct with my name on it but none of my files, none of my work software, my e-mail isn't even set up. Where is it all?? Is it gone forever??

How do you like Netflix? I have considered joining. We don't generally rent a lot of movies though.

On a lighter note, what good movies have you seen lately? Last night, we went to see, "You dont mess with the Zohan" with Sandler. It was funny to me, not the best movie, but a good comic relief. I also saw Iron Man, which was good to me just because of Robert Downey Jr. who is HOT!
Sad movies
Have you ever watched a sad movie that you were still crying even when it's over. I just watched The Notebook last night. What a great movie but an absolute tear-jerker. I will still crying after the credits were rolling and it was going on to the next movie. Thank God DH did not come into the room. I would have felt like such a dork. What movies have you cried at? Another one I saw that was a tear-jerker but had a happy ending was Steel Magnolias.
Yes, it is great, and more than movies
I started renting shows, like Will and Grace and Desperate Housewives, things I didn't watch much in the past, starting from the very beginning, one season at a time. It's really great! Oh, and if you haven't done the sex and the City thing, start renting them. You will be hooked from the 1st season. Many women I know says that is their all-time favorite "woman" show.
Which is better - books or movies?
I never really caught on to the whole Harry Potter thing - it even took me a while to like the movies. But everyone is so crazy about the books, my curiosity is killing me. I don't have a lot of extra money to invest to quash my curiosity, so which should I invest in - the movies or the books? I do know that usually books are better than movies, but I'd hate to spend all that money if the movies are just as good!
Have u seen the movies What the Bleep Do We
Both movies can be life changing! What The Bleep Do We Know is about quantum physics, but it is explained in a way that is easily understandable! It is really amazing, and I would recommend it to anyone who has been feeling negative or hopeless or powerless lately or just wants to expand their brain and learn something totally alien.
The Secret has similarities to the above movie, but with more simplified explanations. I pretty much forced my mom to watch The Secret because she has had such a negative view lately and gone through some tough times, and even though she can be a bit skeptical, she loved it! It really inspired her, and the next day she had a terrific career idea and is at least focusing on the positive a bit more.
I think a simple thing like a movie or a book or even a new idea from a stranger can cause a slight shift in one's consciousness and can help create a more positive outlook on life, and watching these movies really did make me want to enjoy the beauty of life a little bit more each day and look forward to the adventures life brings and just really feel alive!
I just wanted to recommend the movies to you and also know your thoughts if you have actually seen either movie and if/how they affected your lives. (~kam)

You had Joe Pesci correct. I am not a person who swears a lot but he swears so much, it gets hilarious. Of course, I watch him with no kids around. He swore so much in Casino that I was laughing all by myself. Husband and I are getting older, so we joke about Python's skit - Bring out your Dead! But I'm not dead yet! So hilarious! Thanks for the laughs. No offense meant by the swearing, I just love Joe Pesci, loved him when he was ordered by the court to live in his own slum houses. I am sure he's a much nicer guy in person. Thanks for the memories.
we watched movies
Chuck and Larry was one of them. We had shrimp cocktail and stuffed clams and those little hot dog pastries and mini quiches, and then at midnight champagne and Italian pastries. It was a nice night. Happy 2008 all.
