I am no longer married (22 years now). Sheba is soooooo tempermental. Sometimes even when you are just petting her, she will for no reason just bite you (nothing major mind you). I make her get down when she does that. Whenever my son-in-law comes into the house, she always hisses at him, but 5 minutes later she will sit in his lap. She is one of a kind for sure. Not much of a lap cat. She does not come to "here kitty, kitty." She comes to "Sheba coming?" I have one of those cat trees in my office, and that is where she is most of the time. Sometimes she will get down and get right in front of my screen so I cannot see to type. She will hiss when I get her down. I love her though. She tolerates me.
