My mother-in-law has been the same way recently. The last couple of years when we visit I have to make a run to the grocery store. The last time we actually ate deli sandwiches from the Safeway in our car because she had no food in the house! It is so frustrating trying to be subtle with the kids around who complain and are hungry!
