you can't say anything without someone jumping all over you on that board and some of the responses are silly and childish. Every time someone posts verifiable information, people on there respond with silly inuendos and comments.

This was put into place when we very first set up the Gab board. We have a Christianity, Conservatives, and Liberals forum that you can post on. But, let me be clear. I do not condone trashing of anyone's religious preference and neither should you. I expect posts on any of these forums to be respectful (that does NOT mean we are censoring, there IS a difference). perhaps? They are less conservative than Amish, but very conservative - skirts and meeting in homes being my only clues. But that said - normally any conservative "religion" also does not approve of divorce no matter what - save adultery. And I have heard that some conservative "reconstructionist" groups do not even support divorce under those circumstances either - sounds like the wife is playing some games. Very sad, and I'm sorry for you folks, too. Divorce hurts everyone.

But, if the great percentage of those that ARE reported do not result in pregnancy, it is not a stretch to think that those UNreported would not be the same. Again, I will say it...if Planned Parenthood and other liberal organizations had FACT to prove those statements it would be national news. They don't. Because they know better. Oh good. We do try to be as conservative as possible when it comes to fuel economy.
Not just for environmental impact, but it is financially essential these days. Thankfully, our rig runs on gasoline instead of diesel, but we are still keeping an eye on cost and may have to consider at least a semi-permanent location. Before we started this adventure, we agreed when fuel and site rental costs more than a house payment monthly, we would might just blindfold ourselves, pick a page in the atlas, and toss a dart to pick our new hometown. Unfortunately, that may happen.

There is some evidence that Americans started taking the bible literally when we stranded here as pioneers. That is when the line by line scripture as truth came about. Unfortunately, I think that our American literalism has been taken advantage of by unscrupulous politicians of all sorts, including unscrupulous clergymen and women for their own personal monetary or sexual gains, etc.
I do not think every word of the Bible was supposed to be taken literally, even though I am a Christian.

This is for everyone who has a parent/grandparent/aunt/uncle/etc. who has worked their USA hands and/or kiesta off all their lives. We paid off the big loans and we punish those older citizens who gave it their all, put their kids through college on their own dime and/or moreso to build this country! Booh, hiss!!!! I thought we made a good choice, but now I am rethinking me thoughts! This is personal, not politics!! Thmbs down, where do we write, anyone know or care to know???
I agree about the office politics...
and that is a definite plus about being at home. I like the fact that I don't HAVE to talk to anyone if I don't feel like it (unlike being in an office), but my schedule gives me the freedom to socialize with my friends and family when we want to get together and also be active in my church during the week.

proceed to participate in the very behavior you are objecting so stridently to. You are entitled to your opinion. You are entitled to share your opinion. I am not saying that you aren't. I just find it rather interesting that you choose to actively participate in the very behavior you're protesting so loudly against.
I really don't care to argue with you, just as I don't really care for the politics board. As far as tomorrow, for my kids it is historic event. Only one of them was old enough to remember Bush being sworn in the second time, and he was still to young for it to hold a great deal of significance. I would like to foster in my children a respect for the process of our government and why our founding fathers designed it the way they did. This is part of that process. It is not about race for my younger children, although my 8-yo still doesn't understand why a black person, or anyone else not Caucasian for that matter, had never been president. My 6-yo thought nothing of the fact that a white woman or a black woman or a black man or a Hispanic man could run for president. In fact, she was a Hillary supporter and then a McKinney supporter because, "boys are yucky."
For some people, tomorrow is a catharsis on many levels, for the past 8 years to the past 200+. If you can't see and appreciate the significance of the event, then I feel very sorry for you.

That is why I enjoy doing MT so much. It is just me, the doctor's voice and my computer. Of course, the occasional emails from supervisor. But the way this industry is going, I see myself doing something else. What that is I don't know yet, but I am beginning the search. I thought computers would be a good field to get in.
Could someone tell me if there is a Christianity board as well as a prayer board (sm)
or are they one in the same? I have some faith related questions, but don't want to post on the prayer board again if it is specifically for prayer requests. I do not see a Christianity board listed. Thanks so much.

Am not talking politics here at all, talking
about how she views the southern culture which apparently she knows very little. I do not care about her politics- what I care about is by making a statement like that only shows a persons ignorance. My maid is working today, has lived in the gettos all her life in a big city and when I asked her about it she said something she has not seen in maybe 30 years. In her neighborhood there is all sort of crime that goes on (well, that is about everywhere) but if anyone would see it she would be 1. Like I say, could care less about Whoopie's political views other than the fact she got that wrong. Neil Boortz also was saying the same,;he said she was probably still holding the south in such a light because of her inability to go into a upper class restaurant here in town dressing in blue jeans. Being as she was born in NYC, we southerns still say da.n yankees! So true here.

Thought I had it in favorites, but takes me to the main board . . . I do not have board options to the left though. Anyway, the Gab board is to gab about anything not MT, so I'm sure she's fine here, but I had been trying to check out the WAHM board yesterday and couldn't get there, so just thought it funny you brought it up today.

I posted on scrapbooking one time and didn't get any response. I love to scrapbook and I am about to finish up one that is a thank you gift for the family that we stayed with last year on vacation in Colorado.
I am limited in what I can spend on it so I have to depend on a paper cutter, scissors and I love corner punches. I think I have seen the machine that you are asking about but I really don't know anything about it.
The question I posted back quite a while ago is concerning scrapbook programs on the computer. Do you know anything about them? I think I would like to use one of those programs but I have not found anyone as of yet who is knowledgeable about them. I was trying to research that one day through Google and found this website. You might find the answer to your question on here: twopeasinabucket.com This is a scrapbooking website and I found it quite interesting although I didn't have a lot of time to spend looking for the answer to my question. When somebody is hurting, it is only natural for a caring person to offer whatever they have that could help. Every Christian on earth was once a nonchristian, and somebody led them to Christ, perhaps by offering them help or hope in a time of need.
Nonchristians of all kinds are also free to offer whatever help or hope they have to offer.

the best thing about it is nobody is nasty towards each other, no name calling if you have a different opinion about something, not much whining and complaining about how horrible someone's job is, etc. A nice breath of fresh air over there. Been on the political board here lately? If you want to see nastiness, pettiness and childish behaviour, hop on over there for a bit.
