Let's Dish the Real Housewives!

I don't think I've ever had a more uncontrollable urge to stick my fist through a television set than when Kelly is on.

Kelly is such a low class, immature, little piece of trash! I never even heard of the b!itch until Housewives this year. I'm not a big fan of Bethany but her little speech she gave her at the bar (after being a half hour late!) really boiled my blood!

I don't think I've ever hated somebody on TV this much before. She totally disgusts me. I hope Bravo drops her off on whatever corner they picked her up after this season is over.

Anyway, moving on.

Ramona is such a jerk to Alex and Simon. Seems she's really holding on to the past. Her husband Mario is no better. He grates on my nerves.

I just love Jill. Can't get enough of her!  Alex and Simon have really grown on me.

It'll be interesting next week, Re: the Countess giving her 'talk' to all the middle school students on what being a Countess means, all the while knowing what a train wreck she is now!

Don't know why I watch this trash - perhaps to see what I'm missing since devoting myself to the "helping profession." That's a joke. I heard the big K punched her boyfriend and had charges against her and to me she is more man than woman anyway. Bethany is so full of herself she stinks. As for Simon, well I think he goes both ways IMHO. They are writing a book on child care. Did you ever see how these boys act? Well, if my name were Francois and I had to talk French I would be angry too if I were a boy. I think coming up are the Real Housewifes of New Jersey. This should be more down-to-earth and we shall see. When are they going to cover some more "normal" people? Does anyone really live like these jokesters? I feel sorry for their kids, they'll never know how the real world makes it through the day. The Countess won't allow lowly people to call her by her first name, God forbid! Disgusting but I keep watching, I don't know why. Get real, do an "ordinary housewife" for a change - Geez!

Luann DE Lesseps, the countess from "The Real Housewives of New York," is single. The 40-something American former model has been dumped via email by her 60-something husband Alex, with whom she has two kids.

Tuesday's NY Post confirms the rumors first reported Monday by New York Social Diary.

From the NYP:

A close pal said, "They decided to separate. She got wind he was seeing somebody and he didn't answer her when she called. He finally sent her an e-mail saying he was with an Ethiopian woman in Geneva and he was serious with her."

The revelation came as a shock to the countess, who celebrated her 16th anniversary with her husband on March 16.
"Luann was blindsided. She was just devastated," the close friend told Page Six. "They have basically lived apart for many years -- he lives in Europe and comes and goes as he pleases, but she never thought this would happen.

Hey y'all need info.  i used to watch Desperate Housewives and just got tired of it a couple years ago.  Well, this past Sunday there was NOTHING else on so I channel surfed over to abc, and imagine my surprise when D.H. had gone ahead into the future!!!  I felt like it was the dream season of Dallas again, and if that doesn't date me a bit i don't know what does.  anyhow, can someone explain to me what is going on?  Why are all the kids like 6 years older now?  Was it a ghost of Christmas future thing or something?  Oh, and sorry bout the typing.  Lousy laptop keyboard is giving me fits.

Cable in our area stinks.  Direct was better than cable, but not near as good as Dish.  The options available on Dish are so much better than Direct.  Little things, like being able to check the guide while still watching a show and looking up the info on another program and how far ahead you can check the schedules.  It's been about 6 years since we switched from Direct to Dish, so maybe they've changed, but I'd go for Dish.  They are by far the best. 

any dish with mayonnaise cannot be eaten if left out, uncovered, for ANY length of time.....

there are many dishes one cannot eat if left out....general rule is no more than 2 hours on a buffet table or any table for that matter, in my opinion.....cheese comes to mind too left out.....

food safety is very important and the USDA allows certain things that also shouldn't be allowed....

ever read Consumer Reports?  I read in there that the govt (USDA) *allows* a certain amount of rodent feces and rodent hair in things like cottage cheese and canned tuna (the latter I love).....and I read that a long time ago....

better to be safe than sorry.......

Can anybody give me their experiences with cable televison or dish, specifically Dish Network or DirectTV?

I am considering getting one of these but don't know which one to go with.  Thank you!

What's inside it? 

I have one on my desk, but it usually only has sugar-free gum in it.  Boring I know, but I hate it when my kids get cavities and since they raid my dish all the time, I have to take precautions.    I also don't want to tempt myself all day long with sugar.  Sometimes I get sugar-free Werther's candy or  sugar-free lemonade candy but those bags are so tiny they don't last long. 

I don't have a dishwasher so I have to use liquid soap.  I never throw the bottle away because I can't squeeze anymore out.  When I'm running my next dishwater, I run water in the bottle and use every last drop.  The cap even has enough residue on it for 1 load.  Same goes for shampoo and conditioner.  Even laundry soap.

I'll often use shampoo for body wash.  If you use Suave or VO5 it's usually only .99 a bottle and when it's on sale for less than that I'll buy a few bottles.  It's a lot cheaper than bodywash.

I try to do errands and appointments on the same day.  Mapped out right so I save gas. 

Never buy infant, toddler, preschool kids clothes brand new.  Buy at thrift, second hand stores or garage sales.  They outgrow them faster than the bank statement arrives.  They also tend to stain and ruin clothes pretty darn easily and quickly.

I can't imagine that you haven't ripped her superior little head off! What a nerve this woman has.  Stand up for you and your child.  She is NO better than you are just because you chose to raise your children differently than she did! I am more like you, in raising my children that is, they do not have a lot of structured activities...my 7 YO just wants to be a kid and play! I don't force him to play with anyone he doesn't want to...and you shouldn't feel like you have to force your child to play with anyone he doesn't want to.

Take a stand against this woman...tell her what you think and let it go...what's she gonna do, ground you?

My husband met his real Dad after 20 years of searching.  We live on the East coast.  His Dad lives on the West coast.  My MIL did not want him him meeting his Dad for the same reason. 

I can tell you this, his Dad was very receptive of him.  He answered some questions that neither my MIL nor anyone else could answer.  It was a nice reunion.

Please disregard your mother's opinion at this point because she is probably scorn and feels you should feel the same way.  It just doesn't work that way with the child that wants to know their Dad.  My husband didn't care what his Dad was like, but he wanted to see him and talk to him.

He now only talks to him occasionally, but I can say that my hubby sleeps much better at night and has learned acceptable, which has really helped emotionally with this struggle he has had all of these years wanting to know his Dad.

Even if you just write a letter explaining that you just wanted to know who he was and to make sure he is safe!  Holding grudges and putting a lot of emotional junk out there at first is sort of a turn-off in my opinion, but in time, you'll find your answers.

Good luck to you, and so glad you at least know he's safe and has a family that loves him, albeit he left out on you.  Hold those kinds of feelings in your heart instead of holding grief or demeaning feelings because the "good stuff" lasts longer and doesn't cause as much heartache!
