My grandparents (from VT), will tell you that my grandfather began farming at 6-7 under the supervision of his 10 year old brother. haha No major incidents - his mother tended the home and ran a nursery and she did have the siblings watch over each other. I didn't even think about all of this until you mentioned the farming post. I loved it!
I, for one, need plenty of sleep - so I must work during the day while they are here...Oops, I gottah go! My 2 year old just fell off the kitchen table.

They are really adorable! Have you heard of the new breed that is being developed called a Toyger? It is a bengal cat with something else, can't remember what. I lost my Abyssinian in June and I said I wouldn't get another kitty until I could afford a Toyger. However, these Bengal's are pretty cute - do you know how much they cost? My kitty was $500.00, a gift from my son. Toygers are still going for around $800.00 as the breed is so new. Obviously, I can't afford either one on MQ pay.

If I didn't have two labs, I would love to have one of those dogs. So cute!

You feel inadequate and no matter what you do - you feel like it is not enough - and that is depression. Get on some medication, or get some therapy and start taking time for yourself and enjoy life. Been there and done that myself - STOP FEELING GUILTY - you deserve better!!

Your kitty is adorable!
I love hearing about everyone's cats and seeing their pics. I have a fully black 11 year old cat named Roscoe who is not too bright, shall we say. LOL. He chases his tail like a dog, and he's the biggest scardey cat around. I had a 16 year old cat that passed away in April and I miss her every day.

know people who have one and she ran across the yard and got the neighbor by the foot after he got out of his car to go into his house! They are feisty little dogs and cute as a button. I still love them. I used to live next door to a Chihuahua who would not let me out of my car, and when I got out it bit my foot. Our Chi is afraid of her own shadow and very sweet. The most she does at strangers is bark! Just like people, I guess . . . each one is different.
