 I made my oldest pick cucumbers one time. He absolutely HATED it.. I also told him NOT to step on my vines & He did purposely, so I threw an over done cucumber at him. .lol. missed, but I got my point across.. he was the worst, because he was mouthy.. 2nd son jake was a good child always has been.. Thank God, needed a break after josh, kelcie, hmm she's kinda like josh, just not as bad, I've set her butt straight as well, she has to pay her phone bill & the insurance we're getting ready to start her on.. noah is in 7th grade, not bad YET~ but he's turned more like Jake, so hoping he won't be too bad.
I'd make him get a summer job/after school job to pay his own insurance or do chores for you...
good luck, kids can wear us all down at times..
