Of course, being from the south, I LOVE double names like Katie Ann, Sara Grace, Grace Ann, etc. Love it! Too bad I only have boys

katie, if you read all the posts...
i think you would have to agree that it was more than a difference of opinion. the posts came across as genuine anger and lashing out.
i stand by my opinion that his/her lashing out did not originate with a tv show, that it went much deeper. i dont care to know the specifics, only pray that it gets resolved.
and that is just MY opinion!

I read tonight that Katie Holmes is trying to leave Scientology. It was an article DH showed me and it stated that she was trying to escape the Scientology compound and a couple of scientologist guards caught her climbing out of a window and they brought her back. My heart goes out to her. I wish her all the best.
BTW, just as a side note reading all this info it says that woman are not allowed to breast feed their children and the babies must be fed a home-brewed baby formula created by L Ron Hubbard. Is it just me or is that strange. Especially since the guy was a Science Fiction writer and not a physician.

Good luck to Katie and Suri and I hope she gets the help she needs to escape. I think Katie Holmes has a lot going for her and that Suri is cute as a button. They deserve a good life.

He has to have radiation and chemotherapy. Hopefully he can recover from this.
don't know about the 12 day thing, but to me it starts--sm
the day after thanksgiving and does not end until new years day. that is long enough. by the time Christmas gets here, everybody is snapping at each other and being all rude and hateful, and then acting like everything is hunky dorie on Christmas day. By the time new years rolls around, everybody's attitudes gets back to normal. again, can't wait til it is over! JMO

Christmas starts on the evening of 12/24, not the day after T-giving
I'm Roman Catholic, and we celebrate Christmas until the epiphany. So our decorations are up until then.
I also remember a friend of mine who lived in upstate NY. She said that they had a local tradition where she lived that said they left decorations up until Presidents Day. She was the only person who ever told me that one, so I don't know if that's so.
