I would buy a three new houses for
our kids, and whatever else they would like to have, then just give the rest away to people/children/animals who need it. Wouldn't even worry about saving it...why? So that the deregulation thieves can steal it?

It's not all just dead skin..lol. I just moved from a house that was built in 1959 and had the ductwork under the house, and all hardwood floors. Dustiest house I have ever, ever lived in. I could dust under the bed and a week later there would be huge balls of dust that looked like it should have taken them a year to accumulate. My now ex-husband used to say I just didn't clean enough. Well, I can't wait for him to see for himself that it is actually the house that is a dust pit and not the poor cleaning habits of his now ex...lol. Thanks - Just had to get that out!

This one house used to give out pencils that had different smells and that was great back in the day---LOL

They are not in the best of neighborhoods but if you have the time and money to fix them up, you can find a real "diamond" in the rough.

My husband built special houses outdoors for
our cats. We have strays, which we have collected over the years. He built a couple small houses that look like doghouses. He installed infrared heat bulbs inside each house -the kind you can buy at a pet store to keep reptiles warm. He bought guards that go around the bulbs so that the animals don't actually touch the bulbs, which I think you can get at a Lowe's or Home Depot. It may sound complicated, but it did not take him long at all. We have used these houses for years and the cats love them. I can look out my back window on a cold day to see 6 cats(3 in each house)keeping warm in those houses. A girl I work with liked them so much she had him make one for her cats. Gee, maybe we should start a business!

I am so hearing you! Even when I go to Dunkin Donuts, the coffee tastes terrible. I told my husband that I don't think that they are using Dunkin Donuts coffee anymore. I would kill for a decent cup of joe these days. It sucks when I make it at home and it also sucks from Dunkin Donuts. I have started buying Rock Star Juiced energy drinks for the a.m. to get me moving, but I really need a good cup of coffee.

First of all, my child would not attend a school which forbids dancing, rock music, hand holding, etc. For him to be suspended if he takes his girlfriend to prom at another school is ridiculouos! What he does on his own time is none of the school's business. The school sounds like some kind of cult or something. I say they can go f*c* themselves.

Kids aren't safe anywhere.....Just this weekend in sunny Atlanta we have an grandfather kill his 6yo grandson and wife over a watermelon and a guy with a shotgun go in his backyard and threaten to blow his brains out!!! There are tons more other stories about people getting shot and everything here, it is common.... My husband uses guns to hunt and that is what they should be used for.... THE SHOOTING NEEDS TO STOP!!!! I AM SO SICK OF PEOPLE GETTING SHOT or THREATENING TO SHOOT PEOPLE!!!

Wow, you know your spiders! It was indeed a garden spider...Argiope. Website does indeed say they are harmless but I don't believe that for a second! Fangs were as huge as my head they were!
I just went out and documented the whole fiasco as best as I could...therapy really. I found the spider and took a picture of "her." Apparently only the ladies get this big. My mother tried everything with my brother. Finally, one day, while the brat was in the middle of one of his fits, my father came in and was shocked at what he saw. My father went outside, got a bucket of water and threw it on my brother right there in the floor of the kitchen. Needless to say, my brother NEVER pulled that crap again.

burned the crap out of my belly with mashed potatos
I was just stiring instant potatos and then somehow it jumped on my belly and now I have this 2-3 inch mass of skin that has blisters, some of which have popped, and this one 2 inch round lesion that just looks gross. I probably should have gone to the hospital, but since I have no money I just treated it over the counter with antibiotic ointment. Has anyone done this before? If so what did you use? It is painful!!!! I bought this lidocaine stuff, but it hurts worse. At least it is healing!!! I am a dum dum!!! Those potatos were out to get me darnit!!!

Where in lower NY?
I'm in Upstate NY and it's in the mid-70's here. I think this morning the low was in the high 50's. Brrr to you.
That is way down in lower manhattan
If you are going to South St. Seaport and are staying in Midtown, you might want to plan other things in that area while you are there. If you like Latin food, there is a restaurant called Cabana at South Street Seaport. Reasonable for lunch but expensive for dinner. It is on second floor and overlooks harbor. Also the downtown alliance has a free shuttle that takes you around lower manhattan. you get on and off at various points. http://www.downtownny.com/gettingaround/?sid=19
That way you can do Staten Island Ferry, ground zero, Brooklyn bridge, etc., and not get lost walking around in lower manhattan. It is not laid out like a grid down there and gets very confusing.
My daughter plans on going to college in NYC so we go often. Have a great time. Don't be afraid of the subway. It is a great experience. Going back to NYC in August. Cannot wait.

abdomen, only see it in swimsuit. Really wanted one on the back of my shoulder, but decided not to get one that would show when I was "dressed up." My ex told me I could NEVER have one, so when we divorced that is the first thing I did!!!!
Lower it - 21 is too high
1. Three years is not a huge difference.
2. Most kids are drinking earlier than 21 anyway and nobody is enforcing the law when they get caught drinking under age.
3. It was 18 when I was 18 and there was not a high incidence of drunk driving or whatever reason they have for a drinking age.
4. Germany there is no drinking age and they do not have a high rate of drunk drivers (they have one of the lowest rates of any country).
5. If they are not going to lower the drinking age they should then raise the age of joining the military. Someone tell me that it makes sense that they can't drink til their 21, but at 18 years old in the military they are given guns and can use them.
Some kids will be responsible and some kids won't. I know a lot of people who are in their 20s and 30s and older who are very irresponsible when it comes to drinking - btw, I am 48 years old, not 18, 19, or 20 (and just want the age lowered) :-)
Your lower teeth
in the front ... have your gums eroded in back of the teeth as well? Mine look fairly normal in front of the teeth, but behind them (especially bottom front teeth), I can see the gums are quite receded. I have one of those little dental mirrors. I am wondering why they would be worse in the back, as I think I brush the same way there.

If you suffer from lower back pain
or arthritis like me, you may want to try the SALONPAS pain relieving patch. Works great! Relatively inexpensive. Comes in different sizes. try to negotiate for a lower APR before going to CCC & use the word "hardship"
Search Google for credit info center they have great advice there.
Try to negotiate for a lower APR yourself first.
First call and threaten to cancel, (but do not cancel if they don't help!) and that might get you a lower APR.
If that fails write or call back,you have to say the word "hardship" to them to really work with you if you are not 60 days past due...that is the magic word. Their hardship plan and CCCS looks the same on your credit report, at least you control it by doing it yourself.

I have been at roadside stands and never smelled them cooking nor saw them but mostly you see in stores like food depot. I know of no one who uses them. I am sure that various parts of the country have other foods that could turn a person's stomach. I remember a supposed pepperoni pizza I had 1 time in Buffalo and the tomatoes on it were whole like uncooked. Yuck for that. Everyone has a yuck I am sure.
My daughter is 35 years old and has been having pain in left lower abdomen for quite some time . . .
She had a CT with oral and IV contrast and it was normal, but showed she had an enlarged uterus. Dr. called the next day and said she needs to go for ultrasound.
There is lots of cancer in the family, so my daughter is very concerned. Can any of you who have experienced this help out here. Thanks.
