If I can't multitask, I'm screwed.

I would make a horrible line worker, which is why I think I'm getting burned out so fast on this typing stuff. I just can't do the same dang thing over and over and over and over without going neurotic, which is what you're seeing evidence of when I post on this board--me going nuts and needing a release.
Right now, I think I've done the 15th report of the same physician that insists on clearing a huge phlem globber before they dictate--kinda like what Melvin Udall does when he answers the phone in "As Good As It Gets." I think I actually popped an aneurysm a few minutes ago because of it.
I find I am at my most productive if I can be left alone to sit for 2 hours and type, get up and do something domestic, and then resume typing for another couple of hours, and repeat. When I know it's gonna be a day where I have to be strapped to my seat staring at my monitor awaiting a "stat," suddenly I go into rebel mode. Can't explain it, it's just what happens to me mentally. I really gotta work on that I guess.
