I wish a podiastric could figure out my issues

Never that much into the heels so that does not play a part. I now get the birkies and even then have to use 3/4th arch supports in them because if not I have an electric current sensation that shoots up from the bottom of the foot, only when walking. Oh that is the left foot, should I go on to the right foot? It has other issues entirely different. I have been almost lame some mornings, not good because I love to travel....

what I cannot figure out
I cannot figure out why the judge will not do the DNA swab on the baby and get that part of it over with. Why make Burkhardt suffer, not knowing for sure?
How do you figure?
The Bible states a mark but that can be interpreted many ways. This was written in a time when all the technology we have now wasn't know.
But just as food for thought, the implantable tracking chip is already here and approved by the FDA- so far it is voluntary but they are talking about using it to track immigrants and guest workers. How far down the line will this become mandatory for all of us, much like this new national ID?
If this doesn't concern you you are not paying attention.
No, cannot figure it out
going to work to have money means then you start learning?? I think there are grades that start even before high school showing children how to manage money. It sounds really like she has been very sheltered and continues to be with you asking about how to set up a budget for her. Is not age 18 considered adulthood?? Take a step back and let her do it on her own.
:LOL, I am not the OP, trying to figure it out as well.

I'm still trying to figure out what
Hoffen Koos was supposed to be.
It really is awful how dumbed down our nation is getting. I don't know if it is just me but in the past when I have gone on internet dating sites and they send me profiles that are full of misspelled words and poor grammar it turns me right off and I am not even interested in finding out more about them. I hope that doesn't make me a snob!
How do you figure?
What does the N in LPN and RN stand for then? Nurse. At the hospital and clinic in my city, the only people allowed to take patient vitals are LPNs or RNs. No CNAs or unlicensed people allowed. Secretaries and scheduling clerks certainly don't do it.
Don't try to figure this out
Years ago, probably around the 1990s, when I found my backbone, too long story for now, I decided to go straight to the top when inept people were rude, gave poor service and how I hate stupid, but try to overlook that if possible. If anyone fits into the categories above, I immediately ask for their supv or if in a store for example ask to see the supv. I did this just last week in Wal-Mart when going thru the 10 only item line 2 different people in front of me with at least 25 items each, went thru and nothing said, well not until it was my time to check out and then asking the cashier why she let them go thru, she seemed to ignore me, no good. I asked her again and then when did not get the answer sufficient for me, went to the supv. I did live in a huge city and the service there horrible, especially gov. I now live in much smaller town and that sure is an improvement there.
Two weeks ago had run-in with cable person. Guy showed up, worked here in my home, left and experienced same problem. I called back and the guy answering the phone argued with me that I HAD canceled the appt for that morning!!! I was blowing smoke out my ears and had to ask for supv once again. It is like fighting city hall sometimes just for decent service. The OP apparently just noticing the doctor's places being like this. This I personally have dealt with since probably the 80s and don't know why. I know with dr's office.
I totally agree with Pulling about getting names and time you called regarding appt. I do that all the time because my DH and I both have had that happen in times past. I am a real stickler for time anyway as I do my line count on an hourly basis so have clock right at my desk and use it for verification.
You need to figure out something first
You need to know how long the dictation itself is in minutes. If you record an mp3 of your own voice speaking at a normal dictation rate of speed, you could go back and see how many MB your own dictation took up when you dictated for 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes, etc.
You also need to factor in the kind of formatting the customer is asking for (straight reports, letters, etc).
Does the customer know how long the dictation is in minutes?
When you figure it out, please let me know...
we have the same problem. The neighbors car radio and home radio shakes my house and we are on acreage, so their house is a good 200 yards away. We can feel their car coming before we see it. We complained to their landlord on Saturday and they turned it down for a while, but it is gradually getting louder again. They do this at 2:00 in the morning. My husband has to get up at 4:00 a.m. for work and I get up around that time, too. I have called the cops and they have received a ticket, and apparently three others prior to our moving in, but it does not stop them. I am irritated because my landlord specifically told me that "those people don't live next door. That house is vacant and being foreclosed upon," before we moved in when I said that I did not want to live next to people who are that loud. Sorry, now I am venting, but I really dislike my scumbag neighbors!
If I can only figure out what she is meaning, then
it is alright. One time she said had made a cake from strap?? I wondered and thought, hmmmmmm and then she was telling me how you mix all the flour, pinch of salt and so forth and then I knew she meant from scratch, not a strap! She is a trip though, has been around now for about 14 years, does any and everything I want, including the grass if need be!
Yes, I married one, and he's from NY. Go figure! LOL

Still trying to figure out what woodpeckers
you have - one is probably the red-bellied because it has red head but because there was already a red-headed they named it because of a little blush of pink on its belly - it is big - looks more like a flicker. Do you have a pileated - with a red crest on top? I have red-belly, downy, and yellow-belly which I have to chase away because it makes holes in my Crimson King Maple.

I have it in my Expander to autocorrect.
How hard is it to figure out whether

well I figure if I don't teach them sm
they won't get it when they have to get out in the real world. If they are not going to school and want to live with you why should you pay all their bills?
BTW, what I did was put half of what they gave me away and when they left home I had a nice little nest egg to give back to them to get them started. But they didn't know I was doing that until the time came for them to move out.
In this economy it is very expensive to pay for everyones groceries, laundry soap, etc. I think its a disservice not to require something. Maybe not half or even a quarter, but something! I don't want anyone to wind up like my niece at 45 with no responsibility at all and living off her widowed mother and her fixed income while making 30 bucks an hour herself plus overtime and spending it as fast as she can. Oh yes this is also in the state with the worst economy in the nation..Michigan! But then I guess she thinks she is entitled.
Figure it has to be drugs of some sort.....
o
Give me a ballpark figure on
your pay per week as to whether it is better in the long run.
How do you figure leasing is less expensive?
I've tried doing the math on that several times when we were going in to buy a car, but I never see it as being a saving. If I plan to keep a car for as long as it's useful and relatively trouble-free, leasing makes no sense. If I pay off a car in 3 years, or even 5 years, I could drive it for another 10 years and not have any car payments. But if I continuously lease new cars, I'll always have a car payment. The years w/o payments are money straight in the bank for me. I could see it being cheaper if you plan to buy a new car every couple of years, but I plan to drive my cars until they sputter, cough and die.
Incidentally, I just looked at a camry hybrid today. time to replace a puffing 12 year old car with 189,000 miles on it. I like it. Not sure the gas savings will outweigh that sticker price, tho. wow!
Any father figure who can lay the smack down?
You're the mother, it's your nature to protect, but somebody needs to protect you in this situation as well. I have no advice at all...I've never been through something like that, and can't even begin to imagine what it's like to be in your shoes.
She really needs an intervention or something...too bad she has frigged up her life so bad that not even the military would take her. That's the only think I can think of that would strip a person down to their core and rebuild them up bit by bit all new like without costing a small fortune that the private "reform" places do. She is 19 though, a legal adult. Maybe a one-way bus ticket, some cash, a peck on the cheek, a "you are the weakest link--goodbye."
I have a dalek action figure!
and a box of Jelly Babies from around 1983 my mother bought from PBS! I absolutely ADORE the new Dr. Who series and Torchwood...but I get it off BBC3 and it's all unedited and just freakin' awesome!!
Figure skating outfits
My oldest daughter has just begun to take figure skating lessons. Anyone have those outfits for warmups that they no longer need? The ones available on ebay mostly ship from China. Thanks!!! Any information on where else to find them would really be helpful!

I've got a quote right in front of me from an oral surgeon.....all upper teeth plus two lowers including general anesthesia....$2863.000!!!!!....On estimate insurance would cover about $1900.00, but that wasn't guaranteed.....It was suggested by both the dentist and oral surgeon that I wait to have the dentures made about 3 months later for a good fit and after the swelling has gone down....reasoning for that is you have to have them realigned repeatedly at more cost and sometimes they'll never fit right.....Starting cost $450 on up to about $1000+....Good luck to you....I'm still trying to save up enough $$$. I've had root canals, crowns....thousands of dollars of great work done over the years, but now come to find out I have degenerative bone in my maxilla and they won't hold.
Yeah, and it took her 12 weeks to figure it out... boy - sm
If I was 16 and late more than a week I would have done a home pregnancy test then, not wait until I had missed at least 2 periods; then think about it for a week before telling anyone. I think she wanted to get pregnant and wanted to be far enough along before telling anyone so they wouldn't/couldn't push her to have an abortion. ----reminds me of my brother's best friend's girlfriend (now wife)----she was 5 months pregnant before she "discovered" she was pregnant, get this she was/is a nurse, and yes he married her, guess she figured he wasn't getting her to the alter fast enough. Need to ask my brother if they are still married (this was back in the late 80s)
Trying to figure out oatmeal calories
I used a cup of oatmeals, added 1 and 3/4 cups of water, a little skim milk and a teaspoon of sugar- I know other calories but have yet to figure out the calorie count on the oatmeal.

Amen! We are just at a six-figure income..
but you would never know it by our lifestyle. We don't need to impress anyone or put ourselves in debt for material things that depreciate the minute you walk out of store with it or drive it off the lot. Americans need to SAVE money, a concept that has been long lost through the generations.

Tall is ok, but too tall is not. I also agree that she is bow-legged.

Can anyone tell me that is on social security how they figure how much to deduct if you go over what

I'm sick of trying to figure out what to make. Any ideas?
With hubby on Coumadin and having gout besides, he's on a very restricted diet. No more leafy greens (saladas-out!), or even green beans (his gout starts acting up!). I can go meatless for myself, but he has to have meat or fish. He should have more poultry, but he hates chicken. I must have tried 20,000 chicken recipes and he just doesn't like them.
Our main diet is now ground sirloin in meals that use 1 pound or less, potatoes, rice, yellow wax beans, and pasta, fish of all kinds and cuts, beef or pork roast on Sunday, ham slice once in a while or half a ham slice if it is thick, steak once in a while no more than 4 ounces, soups or stews, and casseroles (don't care for soup or stews myself). Getting tired of it. I love Mexican and Chinese. He says they don't fill him up.<sigh>
Anybody with any ideas? I have a wall of cookbooks and some online recipes I printed, but nothing turns him on lately. Everything is either too spicy, too bland, flavorless, etc. etc. Don't know where to turn.
Tried, failed in math so could not figure, only do spelling!

Lab here with some issues.
We can't figure out what the problem is either. I give her a bath every other day with dog shampoo made from dry skin dogs and that seems to help her the rest of that day and part of the following one.
She must have some serious issues (sm)
Psychologists say that people who take pleasure in running other people down have no self-esteem, are usually unhappy with their lives, and it kind of lifts them up to run someone else down. Maybe we should feel sorry for her. Uh. Maybe tomorrow.
Not sure what his issues are
My son is not very honest. When I had him for my summer visitation this year, he talked about possibly wanting to stay here, but kept changing his mind constantly. Finally he said he wishes he could try living with me for a year and see if he liked it. I told him his dad would never go for that (the ex is now on an SSI disability and is also drawing SSI for my son - so his motives for keeping him there are very financial). My son admits one major thing holding him back is he likes his school and his friends and doesn't want to leave them. Its up to my son to decide when he's had enough and is ready to tell the judge he wants out of there and stick with it. I'm not pressuring him to make a change.
During our epic custody battle, the whole thing started because my son said "get me out of here" and started telling horror stories, which were mostly true, from what I saw firsthand. I made sure he got a CASA (his own court-appointed advocate) so his side would be told to an "impartial" third party. But my son was not honest. He changed his mind and stories constantly and protecting daddy suddenly became a big deal. He recanted everything he told me, my mother, and relatives on his dad's side (seeing his father and other adults naked, physical abuse, drugs/drinking going on, etc.) - either he said it never happened or his memory completely disappeared on issues where I had firsthand knowledge that it was true. When the golden moment came to advise the CASA what his wishes were, suddenly he was quite happy at dad's, and didn't really care which parent he lived with.
This is one reason I have to see something in writing from my son before I grab this hot potato again. I love him, but I cannot trust that he won't make me look like a fool and waste endless time and money to help him, when he does a 180 and wants no help when help arrives. He claims to be disgusted by his father's drug use, but refuses to get him in trouble, even when I assure him I begged the court repeatedly to drug test us both and see the truth and the court declined to touch that issue. He has pondered whether to play hardball with his dad and give an ultimatum that if he doesn't get off drugs he'll come live with me - this shows me at this time he still wants to be there or he would gladly walk away.
Other issues?
Most, if not all, of someone's "other psych issues" with their gender identity comes from society's attitude toward it. Once they have completely transitioned, most of those issues go away.
"Psych issues" usually include -
being forced into an uncomfortable gender by an accident of birth and told they can do nothing about it
being treated like a monster by family and friends who can't accept that they need to change
being treated like a pariah and a target by perfect strangers who think its OK to abuse them any way they please, up to and including murder
finding it nearly impossible to find romance, because few are open minded enough to deal with this personally, given a choice
very messy situations in the workforce while trying to transition - mainly caused by coworker's opinions and attitudes
people in general who refuse to see the person but only see the gender issue, and judge the person automatically without educating themselves on the condition at all
My son, who is in the process of becoming my daughter, passes so well as "female" that unless you knew what's in that person's pants, you'd never know she's "male". Once legally transitioned (with all the paperwork changed to reflect female gender), nobody that meets my daughter will see her as a freak. It is only people that knew her before, as a male, that will have problems with "her". So as long as those people continue to give her grief, yes, it will cause "psych issues", just as lifelong harrassment and judgmental ignorance against you would cause anyone some "psych issues".
You have several issues here sm
First, mortgages are no longer a wise investment. The general trend is towards home values going down, not up. You could well end up 10 years from now owing more than you can sell the house for. I have had this happen to me.
You have GOT to live within your means. If your wife is overspending, she needs help. Yes, overspending is a pathology!
Downsizing even further is probably your best solution, after your wife has addressed her issues with spending more than you have. Being house poor is a fool's journey into madness, especially because with gas prices continuing to rise, as food may be a real luxury soon.
I have downsized twice in the last 5 years, in part because my family grew up and left home, and the last time because it made economic sense. I live in an older trailer house, but it is lovely inside...warm and comfortable. Ashamed of it? NO WAY it is paid for IN FULL and MINE. It was a wise move. I am now able (and motivated) to save about 25% of my income after taxes, sometimes more and I am looking at ways to cut corners so I can save even more.
I am worried about a second Great Depression in this country, and I am not alone in my thinking. LIVE SMALL and get your wife on the same page.
Issues
Probably depends on state laws or any neighborhood covenant rules you might have. But if it is free to roam, I'm not sure if the law would see it as a pet. So then I wonder if there are laws about feeding deer. Is this one deer the only one in your neighborhood? Nobody keeps deer as pets here, but with a swamp and bits of wooded areas around, we see deer in the next neighborhood frequently. They only come into our yard and eat my hostas when there is a serious drought and their food supply diminishes.
Fencing has to be 10 feet high to control deer. Seems like the neighbors should be feeding the deer more food than they are if there is any hope of keeping it from devastating landscape plants.
Sorry for your issues...
Before I became an MT I used to work in nursing homes and assisted living. I had some elderly family as well.
I am sorry you are having this problem. Sometimes the person you are worried about does not have a grip on the reality of their situation.
My MIL lost my FIL about 9 months ago. A year before that she had her left leg amputated above the knee. Due to several issues, she is wheelchair bound and cannot do. When FIL died she was incapable of caring for herself, though she insisted that she could. It actually took her having an "incident" in order to convince her otherwise.
My grandma had to be put in a care center because she had issues similar to yours. My aunt was the one who took care of her and there was no way otherwise to do it. They tried everything, an aide to come in during the day, etc. This woman was so ticked off she didn't speak to my aunt for 2 months. She did eventually get over it.
What I think is that you need to get as many family members involved in this as you can. Make it very clear that you fear for her safety and wellbeing. If she is mad at you, let her be angry. It is not all at you. Some of it is the fact that she just cannot do things she used to do. They all go through it, kind of like a grieving period.
I have no other advice to offer you, but do stand your ground if you truly believe it is a safety issue. The guilt you feel right now is nothing compared to what you would feel if you backed down and the woman actually fell at your place and got hurt.
IMO I believe many men have issues because of their
