Banana Pudding made with bananas and vanilla wafers
2 lg packages (or 4 small packages) INSTANT Vanilla pudding
3-1/3 cup cold milk
12 oz Cool Whip
1 cup sour cream
5-6 ripe bananas
1 box vanilla wafers
Mix pudding and milk until it starts to thicken. Gently stir in sour cream and Cool Whip. Mix well. In large dish or bowl put layer of vanilla wafers, layer of pudding, and layer of bananas, repeat layers. I ended up with enough pudding to put another layer on top of the bananas. Crush some vanilla wafers or just use crumbs in the box to garnish the top. Let it chill before serving. Delicious!!

Cheeseburger cake??
I am having a surprise 40th jimmy buffett theme party for my husband on saturday. Does anyone have any idea how to decorate a cake to make it look like a cheeseburger? what kind of things would i use, i.e, fondant, etc. I have a general idea of yellow/chocolate cake but all I can find online is pictures of a cake but not how to actually construct it.

Do you have a yellow cake mix?
You could do a pineapple upside down cake. Add about 5 tablespoons melted butter and 1/2 cup brown sugar to the pineapple. Spread on the bottom of a well-greased baking dish, pour the cake batter over it. You could even go crazy and add a dash of rum to the pineapple before you bake it.

I bake and take a coffee cake to brunches or friends that is so simple and you can do a recipe search for Heath Bar Coffee Cake. I use the powdered buttermilk in the recipe and works just fine. Not complicated at all and SO good.

My husband is a big baby. I was working full time at an insurance company. I had my surgery the day after Thanksgiving. I was home by 10 AM feeding the baby (not my husband) in the high chair because my husband had to run to the store for stuff we needed. Not a big deal. Didn't hurt, woke up from anesthesia quickly.

I was living in NC a few years back and one night a bat flew out of nowhere through the room and Cupid and Lexi (my exboyfriend's dog) booked out of there! Luckily he came home a few minutes after and he did not believe me that there was a bat in the house,and then he went in and said oh wow, there is a bat! he tended to take what I said in one ear and out the other! The 5-minute Chocolate Cake for 1 Person
The person who sent me this says it really works.
5-MINUTE CHOCOLATE MUG CAKE
4 tablespoons flour
4 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons cocoa
1 egg
3 tablespoons milk
3 tablespoons oil
3 tablespoons chocolate chips (optional)
A small splash of vanilla extract
1 large coffee mug (microwave-safe)
Add dry ingredients to mug, and mix well. Add the egg and mix thoroughly. Pour in the milk and oil and mix well. Add the chocolate chips (if using) and vanilla extract, and mix again. Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes at 1000 watts. The cake will rise over the top of the mug, but don't be alarmed! Allow to cool a little, and tip out onto a plate if desired. EAT!
Paula Deen's Eclair Cake
Ingredients & Directions:
Cake:
1 1-pound box graham crackers
2 3 1/4 ounce boxes instant French vanilla pudding
3 1/2 cups milk
1 8-ounce container frozen whipped topping, thawed
Frosting:
1 1/2 cups confectioner's sugar
1/2 cup of unsweetened cocoa
3 tablespoons butter, softened
1/3 cup milk
2 teaspoons light corn syrup
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
Butter the bottom of a 13x9x2-inch pan. Line the whole pan with graham crackers. In bowl of an electric mixer, mix pudding with milk; beat at medium speed for 2 minutes. Fold in whipped topping. Pour half the pudding mixture over graham crackers. Place another layer of whole graham crackers on top of pudding layer. Pour over remaining half of pudding mixture and cover with another layer of graham crackers. For frosting, blend together sugar and cocoa. Add butter and milk, mixing well. Add corn syrup and vanilla. Stir until creamy. Cover cake with frosting and refrigerate for 24 hours.
Yield: 20 to 24
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: Allow 24 hours to cool in refrigerator
Ease of Preparation: Easy
