I use Frontline on everyone here.

I was using the Hartz stuff that was like Frontline but not....nearly killed my little dog.  Poor thing had seizures and everything.  My vet told me it was pulled from the shelves 10-some-odd years ago but was available again and was bad ju ju.  So, went to Frontline and never had a problem.  It's expensive but we were absolutely infested with fleas the year before last and I learned my lesson then!  I use it year 'round...wintertime was when we got overrun with fleas that year.  I get it through 1-800-Petmeds and they have free shipping and even throw in a dog treat and catnip when I order, so that's always fun too!  Good luck with it!

I've always used Frontline
and it always seemed to work on my dogs.
i prefer frontline plus,
it takes care of fleas and ticks. My vet has it cheaper than on-line.
Vets here favor Frontline Plus
I think it's because of our warm climate meaning we have more of one or the other to deal with. I can't remember which way it is, but each vet we've been to here has preferred Frontline Plus. I'd ask your vet.
Frontline: Kids on Meds
The medications that they put the kids on can cause permanent brain damage. Go to PBS.org and watch kids on medications by Frontline.

Good luck.
