wow! That's just...psychotic?...sm
what's sad is, if her husband quoted his own price for the basement, then he was obviously happy to do the work, and behavior like that from HER will make it harder for him to find odd jobs like that, because word definitely gets around. If she's that desperate for money, there are ways to ask friends for a loan, but she definitely crossed the line! I don't blame you for cutting off contact with her. Its sad that what should've been perceived as a good thing you guys did for them (hiring her husband when you could've gone with someone else) was just turned into something ugly like that by her.

I hope you dont have more drama with her, but by the sound of it you will.
10-year-old autistic son
In addition to losing "privileges" (PS2, t.v., computer time, playing with friends), we have also begun making him write sentences. Started doing this when they implemented a daily behavior grading system, and the number of sentences for school behavior problems is based on that grade, so he knows what to expect based on what he received for his behavior grade at school (and not just daily, but if he has a bad behavior grade two days in a row, etc.). We now use it for home behavior problems too.

Never thought he would like anything less than losing the PS2 privileges, but this is it :) . . . but with him, it is always harder on us :(. However, like another poster said, gotta be consistent.
Pretty calico!
She looks like a queen to me ... if she wants to march across the counter tops, what are you gonna do?? hehehehe
Being autistic vs. being mentally challenged
What's the difference between these two?

(How did you get a picture in here?) If I knew, I'd post one.
My son had 3-month psychotic episode from meds sm

I posted about this a few months ago. He is 7 years old and was on Singulair, and it literally caused him to have severe psychiatric problems, to the point of saying he wished he had never been born, once that he was going to take a hatchet and chop off my toes, and generally being an extremely unhappy little boy. Kids as young as 2 years old are being put on this medication, and very few parents are aware that it can cause these kinds of side effects. I am not saying that this little girl is on it or if there is even a way to find out, but it is something to consider. Thankfully we figured out what was going on with my son, and he has been back to a normal happy loving 7-year-old boy ever since.
