you need a trick
Get some apple pie spice or cinnamon, whatever you got, sprinkle it on a cookie sheet and put it in the oven on WARM. Do this after your 500 degree sterilizing.

Your house will not smell like rat pee.

Good for you fixing your own stove!

Benadryl does the trick for me and
also if you have an itch, hey, it takes care of both. I absolutely cannot take it while working as it kicks in the sleepiness.
The one where the dog learns a new trick - how to

I think they're advertising for Stanley Steamer Carpet Cleaner -- and the dog has his butt spread on the floor and is pulling himself across it and the kid yells -- mom look the dog's learned a new trick and the mom totally freaks.  Absolutely love that commercial.

My favorite commercial that isn't on anymore are the identity theft ones by citibank -- like when the 2 old ladies are on the couch and making the driving noises and the one says - that was fun and the other one says- yeah (with a southern drawl).

I think it's a kind of mean trick. (SM)
I'm surprised it's so popular. I think it is one of several things that caused me to be quite cynical about life. Some people will think that's over-reacting to a fun myth, but it's almost like proof that real life is too boring or kids are gullible so let's make stuff up and see how long they believe it. Too bad logic can easily follow that God is also made up.
Not THIS board - is that a new SS trick?
wouldn't put it past her.

trick or treat?
I'm figuring the way this day is going that I will turn off my lights, sit in the basement and eat 2 bags of Snickers instead of handing it out tonight.  I hear those little candy bars up in the pantry calling my name. I figure I am saving the neighborhood kids from cavities, weight gain, stomachaches and a night of bouncing off the walls.  I know they'll thank me later.
What's your trick for staying awake? (sm)
I don't sleep well at night, even with taking a pill, and during the day lately I'm finding it harder and harder to say awake.  I've had 2 caffeinated beverages but that's not helping.  Smacking my face isn't helping. It's killing my line count.  Right now I have a clothes pin on my earlobe causing just enough pain to keep me momentarily alert, but I don't expect this to last.  Any suggestions?
good! that is the trick, now stick to it!
hold to your guns, girl. dont let him go along good for a while and then stop. you are taking the right way, its not easy, and it may not end up with ya'll together, but you will then be able to look everyone, including him, and say i left it all out there. be sure though that you find something for yourself that will build you up! that is key to this. will make you stronger to deal with him and also if the time comes that you have to go, you will KNOW you can do it on your own. God bless your home.
There is a trick for dogs that might work.
If a dog eats too fast you put a ball or rock in the bowl with the food and he has to eat around it.

I've never tried it, although come to think of it, it might help my CJ.
Oh, another non-poisonous trick someone told me...

This didn't work for me personally because I had a rat problem in winter and the water kept freezing but...

Locals here told me to get a 5-gallon plastic pail and fill it 1/3 of the way with water and then dump in just enough birdseed or dry dog/cat food enough to cover the surface of the water.  Theoretically the varmint is supposed to go in for the food but wind up drowning because it can't get out.  Makes sense enough, but like I said, I never tried it because my rat problem was in my barn, in winter, and it would've froze solid.  The damage I found after poking around was INCREDIBLE and very angering.  I went with bait blocks and never did find a rat--guessing they crawled off to die.

Abstinence of ALL alcohol is the trick !!!
This method will allow you to know what you are doing at ALL times and prevent taking the life of another individual.  Easy on your organs, too.  Good example for your children . . . and on and on and on
Is there a trick to changing the ink jet on the HP printer. Seems to be a problem for me. Just a
small personal one. nm
Of course! Stealing? That's the oldest trick in the book. lol
I guess she figured what does she have to lose if she thought she was dying. :(
