Max is the oldest (the one on the far left), and he will be 6 on Christmas day. Bailey (middle) just turned 4 this past summer, and scooter (end) just turned 2 this summer.

Lined up
People in Dallas and Fort Worth were lining up Friday morning at 8:30! Not me. I will probably wait for a midweek movie. I think it will be a fun movie, by far not the best !!
How about a cooler lined with foil? nm

Not sure of the ages of the recipients, but...
The ones that went over best were two DVDs wrapped with movie butter popcorn packs and some M&Ms or Mike and Ikes.
The early 20s kids loved the big ol' bunch of instant lottery scratch offs with a few coins or a roll of quarters!
Good luck
could also be thyroid - happens in all ages
and I have a daughter that was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism and that caused sleep disturbances, difficulty concentrating and really labile behavior at times.
Children's ages
I must say I am very surprised that children are believing until so old (for this time period). Maybe those who don't believe are keeping quiet (friends and such).
I'm happy to hear they are staying innocent. My children are grown, and I thought things were happening much faster now.
BEST book read in ages...
Wow...cannot remember when the last time I have read such an INCREDIBLE book. If anyone is a reader like me, check out "For One More Day" by Mitch Albon (author of 5 People You Meet in Heaven). I had never read anything of his, but WOW. Once I picked it up, I could not put it down. Read it in less than 2 hours and it is simply FABULOUS. So good, I'm going to read it again!
Yes, insane. Her other 6 kids are ages 7 and

Actually know a couple at these ages, just causes turmoil...sm
they constantly fight and break up and get back together. According to her, he never wants to go out and do anything, and he has no romance left in him. According to him, she is a tease and just wants to go out looking for a younger man. Somehow after being apart for a couple of weeks, sometimes a month, they find themselves back together again, swearing this time it will be better. Being towards the upper end of that range myself, I just do not get this relationship.
Realized something else
I called those phone sex numbers again and went through the menu. They are actually datelines where you record your own little greeting and then chat with someone in your area. Just something else to make it even worse.
I just realized that!
Just yesterday I typed up a report in which the patient refused to be weighed! I thought, Jeez, why have I been obediently getting on the scale every time they tell me! Next time they say "You can get on the scale", I'll say, "No, thank you."
Ha! I feel so empowered!
Not flaming...cause I like ya :-) but fibro happens to all ages (not rheumatism) (sm)
I had it for years and it went away - as I got older. I hope they figure out whats causing your pain soon and that it's quick and easy to fix!!
Now there's a word I haven't heard in ages....... sm
scrapple!
Used to love it fried up for breakfast with eggs and biscuits.
Yup! I have finally realized it! SM
It's funny because she will always call or instant message my husband or I whenever she needs something! Just a few weeks ago, out of the blue she called and asked if my husband could take her to Home Depot to get some materials because they wouldn't fit in her car and we have a big mini van with a roof rack. I told him not to do it because she is just using us! It's so annoying!
The same thing happened to us when we got our new plasma TV last year! She came over and saw it and said, "Oh I heard those things don't last too long." She always has some sort of rude comment whenever she is jealous! I'm so done with her!
Also, she wanted me to try to get her son's girlfriend a job in transcription. She thought she could do it just because she could "type really fast." I told her that there was no way she would be able to do it if she doesn't have the proper training to learn all of the medical terminology, drug names, etc. Her response was, "Oh, she doesn't need that. She can type as fast as you!" I guess she really is just a jealous, disrespectful person! The sad thing is, she is much older than me! I'm 26 and she is in her 40s! Amazing!
I recently realized
that I cannot compare my family to my husbands. It's hard when you grow up with such different values focusing on basic things like the importance of family and relationships.
MIL was recently in the hospital with heart concerns and they just dropped her off and went home. This is the 3rd time her husband has done this. Atleast this time he called the children. It is beyond me why one of her 3 boys (or their spouses) did not make the 15 minute drive to go sit with her. I would have but I was working and figure if out of all those people no one else could make the effort, why should I turn my life upside-down to do it. I can't imagine anyone in my family doing that, even if it was something routine or scheduled. My sister is the one who told me to let it go.
went out shopping before I realized
I had two different shoes on - one tan, one black. What to do?
went out shopping before I realized
I had two different shoes on - one tan, one black. What to do? But my friend has a worse one. After going to the ladies room her skirt got stuck up into her panty hose so everything was showing in the back. She was out on a street when a guy in a pickup truck alerted her to the mishap.

Because I realized it was a bad decision to move here (sm)
I had just had a C-section, we lived in an apartment. He insisted that he do the house hunting. I was at home with my newborn and my c-section recovery. He fell in love with this house and told me all that we were going to do with it. I was worried the road might be too busy but he assured me it was not. I agreed. Then when I realized that I had to have room darkening shades on the windows at night to keep out the car lights and run a fan all night to drown out car noises, and that he wasn't going to fix the termite-eaten pantry or the sagging floor, yeah, I wanted to move. If you call that selfish then you come live here.
I thought of that initially too, but then I realized just
how diabolical we women can be. Maybe she wrote the thank you note because she wanted to plant the seed, to shake it a up a bit because she's hoping the guy will leave the wife for her. She can then always feign innocent to the guy when she gets upset at her for sending the thank you note. "Oh, I just assumed your wife knew about the tip because you wrote a check, so I was trying to cover for you."
My ex's mistress called my home phone to thank me for letting him help her move with his truck. She was a friend of the wife of one of his friends. My ex's explanation was "oh, my buddy just talked me into to helping him help a 'friend' move. I had no idea it was a woman. I just got roped into it." Whatever! She was leaving her husband and he helped her move out! Little did the dumb broad know what I had written a suspicious phone number down off my ex's cell phone and when she called my home phone number, that number popped up. She was too stupid to use a different phone or call anonymously! I knew I had him caught.
One other thing I would do, is talk to her ex-husband. Find out why they divorced. Lucky for me my ex's dumb broad had an angry estranged husband who was looking for revenge. He was more than happy to fill me in on everything he knew that had been going on.
It may be that your husband has actually physically betrayed you yet and I hope that's the case for you. But still you need to address his deceit and inappropriate behavior.
In reading my post over, I just realized...
She probably didn't mean anything by it, but if it was meant to be rude, why should I even waste my time on the negativity? I have more important things to spend my time on :) I guess I just posted to help me feel better at the time because I was a little upset as I was surprised and didn't really understand it. Anyway, it isn't really worth my time and shouldn't really matter, and negative people really aren't worth time and energy I don't have to spend on them. Time to go back to work :) Goodnight....
Sorry again - I just realized you were replying to a message from me, not "me"
Boy, this can get confusing. I thought you were replying to my message. Sorry for the confusion.

Please see a psychiatrist. You are obviously seeking attention by posting lies.
Furthermore, you said he was your prince charming...then you said he talks like he is retarded and that people have asked you if he is retarded. What was so 'princey' about a man who sounds like a retard and has psoriasis all over his body. Why would you have married him in the first place?
How does a woman who was a virgin almost 14 years ago end up with a child who is already 14?
You make it seem as though you are always without food but you are "extremely overweight" after having what you described to be a perfect body 14 years ago. How did that happen?

CSI and Law and Order
Saw the post on the other board about transcribing for CSI or L&O docs.
Had to respond here (because this is not really a main board thing), that these shows are awesome! I love them probably because it is so much like our work. One of the accounts I type for is actually mentioned on one of the CSIs and I go crazy when I hear the name of the hospital. LOL. Anybody else loooove these shows? Just curious to see if there are only a few of us or if a lot of MTs have this in common.
there isn't any order that I sm
know of. There is a notice that ocmes in the mail that says it will just be in late May.
restraining order?
When you leave, could you try to get a restraining order? Then when he violates it, which he probably will, have him arrested. .
Nevermind.. order something...
called Lock Laces online. Expensive, but hopefully they will last.
It depends on where I order it from...sm
Pizza Hut now charges a $1.75 delivery fee and is only 1.5 miles from my house, so I typically tip 15% if we have it delivered instead of going to pick it up ourselves (Which we do more often since they raised their delivery fee). If we order from another place that doesn't pass on a delivery fee than I'll usually tip 20%.
I never, ever, put money into a tip jar anywhere.
When we do eat at restaurants I usually tip 20% or more depending on the service, but if I get suboptimal service I'll leave 10-15% depending on the level of service received and how busy the restaurant is (if they're busy I'm more forgiving than if they're not).
I'd get a restraining order, that way when- sm
he violates it he will be thrown in jail, and possibly get a mental health evaluation. You mom needs to do this as he has threatned her, etc. You never know when he might further go over the edge and followthrough (i.e. kill your mom), if he ever does you will obviously feel very guilty that you sat back and did nothing.
Look like a good belly rub is in order!!!

No mentors, formerly done via mail order, etc.
I answered this before but don't know where it went. We worry he is being used but he asked us to think positive. We are sick about it but can't dare say anything. He is doing his best to ask for help, a competitor just laughed in his face at Manhattan. Newer product previously ordered online or through catalogs, no prior salesperson cold calling.
I usually give $5, or 20% depending on how much I order.
I know they work hard for their money, and believe it or not, there are still a lot of people out there that NEVER tip so I try to make a small difference. I know people in my family who have NEVER tipped and do not feel like they have to. I think it's rude consider wait staff usually never makes minimum wage and something like $3.35 plus tips, so, they are very dependent on tips to make a liveable wage.
depends on if they add gas surcharge of $4 when I order -sm
If not, I give a few dollars per pizza. If they charge that surcharge when I call in the order then I tip less. Some companies are charging it now and some are not, and it does not depend where they are delivering to.
The pizza place we order from
I have assumed that would go to the driver.
yes! order an appetizer - they are huge, enough for 2 (or more). NM

I can't believe it; I'm communicating like some of my docs now, with the unfortunate wording.

I think DNA are in order for Jackson kids
I have seen the kids, all 3 of them and without a doubt do not think those are Michael Jackson's kids. One by a surrogate, well all 3 because apparently Debbie Rowe gave up her claim to kids for money and after they came out from behind the costume masks, there is not 1 thing, not 1 that looks like they are mixed, one kid is a towhead, the others have no facial features, hair nor any skin characteristics that resemble their father. I doubt this would ever be done but frankly have thought from the start Jackson was not the father and furthermore after staying behind the masks, blankets and things the children were behind for so long, thought then about covering up for the fact there was no blackness there.
Anette -- where did you order it from, would love a thermal one - nm

I have an insane idea- order both--- be interesting - sm
to see how many eat chicken and how many pizza. I have a SIL that is impossible to please when it comes to food. My mom would always call her though and ask her what she would like; then she'd make what we will all eating (Turkey, spaghetti, whatever) then also make skinless chicken (usually) for my SIL so she would have something to eat as well. Yeah she thought it was a pain to do but she did it to please her DIL. So again, I'd just suggest back to her, hey pizza is growing old, how about we get pizza and chicken, and you know mashed potatoes is not the only side, they also have mac n' cheese, cole slaw, rolls, etc. Have a mini buffet with pizza and chicken and have some fun.
don't believe they were the bottom 3, Ryan said results in NO ORDER. (nm)

Tell them, my own boss, years ago no restraining order

I once called in a pizza order to be picked up
and the guy on the phone said off-handedly....I don't need to charge you the extra dollar since it is not being delivered. I asked if that dollar went to the delivery person and he sheepishly said no. Really ticked me off.
And where did the $$ come from in order to have the fertility treatments and in vitro in the first p
I had a close friend who ironically was an obstetrical nurse who went through three trials of all this, and with medical insurance it cleaned her and her husband's bank account out, ironically, they ended up adopting a toddler and she then became pregnant NATURALLY!!! but anyway, I know first-hand the expense, what gives in this case, the parents had no money, as I mentioned below, this was reported on CNN and MSNBC.
Can't stop shaking my head in amazement! And if she were "obsessed" as a teenager with having babies for the sake of having babies, shouldn't the parents have gotten her some SERIOUS psychhiatric help, there is a big problem here, this young lady has unbelievable psychological issues that need to be addressed fast, and for her own happiness? Apart from financial, how does one mother adequately nurture and love each of these babies as individuals, all 14, giving them all the love, attention, care, instructions, etc., that they all so richly need and deserve in their little lives???

Wal-Mart: We're not afraid to say Merry Christmas
No. 1 retailer has decided to abandon its generic 'Happy Holidays' greeting in favor of 'Merry Christmas.'
November 9 2006: 9:46 AM EST
NEW YORK (CNNMoney) -- Wal-Mart has told its employees that it's OK to once again greet shoppers by saying "Merry Christmas" this holiday season instead of the generic "Happy Holidays."
CNN confirmed that Wal-Mart will announce Thursday that it plans to use the phrase "Merry Christmas" in products and around its stores this holiday season.
The announcement comes a year after religious groups such as The American Family Association and The Catholic League boycotted retailers including Wal-Mart last holiday season for excluding the word "Christmas" from products sold in stores.
"We, quite frankly, have learned a lesson from last year," Wal-Mart spokeswoman Linda Blakley told USA Today in a separate report. "We're not afraid to use the term 'Merry Christmas.' We'll use it early, and we'll use it often."
Besides resurrecting its Christmas pitch, the retailer is also determined to be the leader in this year's holiday price wars.
The November-December holiday shopping period is a critical time for merchants since it can account for as much as 50 percent of their profits and sales.
To that end, Wal-Mart was the first out of the gate to chop prices on toys and electronics much ahead of its competitors like Target (Charts), Toys 'R Us, Costco (Charts) and others.
To support its Christmas deals, the report said Wal-Mart will launch TV ads next week that trumpet "Christmas." It's changing the name of its seasonal decorations department to "The Christmas Shop" from "The Holiday Shop."
Moreover, Wal-Mart stores will play Christmas carols throughout the holiday period and about 60 percent more merchandise will be labeled as "Christmas" rather than "holiday" items, the paper said.
Definitely - I'm watching repeats out of order now - great show!!
