in the store and that is more what I was thinking about. Do you know how it works? Do you actually create your page on the computer with pictures and fancy stuff and then can you print it off? Or what you create-is it simply a digital scrapbook? I like the sound of Creative Memories Memory Manager. How much does something like that cost? Someone had a booth set up at a convention that I went to and it seemed that they were pretty pricey!

Maybe you could just bring up casually in conversation
how much you enjoy the squirrels, and how much it pains you to see when one has been run over. Don't mention the incident at all, just talk in general about squirrels. Even if she views squirrels as pests, hopefully your talking to her will make her more aware of them when she is driving.
I love squirrels, too, and fortunately I have never hit one, but I tell you, more than once I have nearly had a wreck trying NOT to hit one. They are tricky little devils!
I would definitely let them know even if he looked okay. - sm
If you are afraid of confrontation with them, maybe call 911 and let the police handle telling them. This way if they do anything flaky like try to file charges you are covered by telling the police your story. Please give yourself a break, who leaves their dog out all day so that it can sleep in the road? They are lucky he had not been hit before this.
It looked exactly like something from
The Donnie and Marie Show back in the 70s. I still admire her and am glad she made it as far as she did.
Thank you Thank you!!! I have looked
and looked for a previous post I saw over the holidays with this website in it but couldn't find it. Have been so bummed about not being able to get on there. I LOVE this site!!! :)
We want to be looked at as professionals but
and just to say this post might be deleted but at least I have put down what I think. There are so many posts on her where MTs have lost the luster that we once had. I worked out of the home for 30+ years so it is a real privilege for me to have a job now that I don't have to leave home plus put up with traffic, plus put up with supervisors standing close by, plus office games others play and I could go on and on. I see posts on here on a very regular basis about how to tend to kids, how to really have a schedule, fitting time in for the laundry, etc. As long as MTs come across like this, how do you think the work force feels when they hear this? I went into this because I loved medicine and was above par typist and have made a really good living doing this. I have put aside all else while working, inhouse or out. When I have certain hours, unless dire emergency, those are what I work. I do not answer the phone, chit-chat with neighbors, take care of ironing, nothing else. I put my mind on my work and others should do the same. Working at home is a real privilege, not something to be taken advantage of.
Can you name the site you looked at? Thanks!

If I looked in the mirror too much . . .
I would see the devil. Yep, my mom was very religious. I actually didn't believe it. As a curious child I would stare into the mirror because I wanted to see him -never happened.
Just looked at the site sm
and no we just have a regular chainlink fence. We had the fence put up when we moved here 6 years ago for our dogs. Our first cat (11 yrs) was an indoor/outdoor cat before we moved here but was a bit timid so stayed very close to our old house but goes over the fence here all the time.
never heard of it, just looked it up. I will
have to show that to my son. Thanks!
I did not know what I had until I looked at the site
and it has worked for years for me. Having said that, in the process of having tooth implant in upper front, guess my canine tooth, not sure, the 1 next to the big 1 right in front. Very expensive, hope it is worth it. The flipper on bottom, works great!
Thanks...I looked up online and what I did was sm
picked it up in a very soft cloth and just looked to make sure it didn't look injured. There was no blood but I am not sure. I took the blanket and put it as close as I could guess where the nest might be. I will check later to see if it is still there. What I read says that the mom's come back once a night to feed the babies and to try to put them back in the nest if possible and that she will call them all when she comes to the nest, so hopefully we didn't miss that window and the little girl or guy can be snuggling with mom and brothers and sisters soon. I feel so bad for the poor thing :(
Went back and looked at her pic
I still don't see it. Maybe I am wrong and who knows what her life might be like now, but this woman looks hardened and certainly never soft.
so when you were little the world looked like
1941 - What an amazing year to be born.
Lets see what that looked like:

I am going in on Tuesday to get looked at - sm
and no, I do not want any more kids so hoping it is menopause going crazy all of a sudden. DH has been wanting me to get a TL for ages (and of course he won't get a vasectomy, one of those guys) but I was not ready to do that at 38....still at 43 I just don't want to do it, but not because I want more kids just all the horror stories, was thinking about an IUD or Essure (but did not want metal coils in me in case I ever needed a MRI since Essure is permanent) actually but now I might not have to worry about that either. I will get the exam and biopsy and see how it all goes, one step at a time, not going to work myself into a tizzy about it, no point.
You are so right. I never saw such junk as I looked at in these stores. Well I will be a lot more
careful what I buy and who made it. This was all made overseas. Just junk and not cheap.
I had a couple of ex-bosses that looked sm
exactly like the cave man although, LOL, one in particular was a female. They acted like they were from the cave man days as well.
I looked up the recipe and here we just call it
fried corn. It is really good and have had it lots in my life, mostly corn just scraped off the cobb with some bacon and butter. (I think her amount of butter is more than most of us use here in the south, she overdoes it with the butter). It might sound excessive but you are using mostly the corn as the base for your dish so not over the top like lots of her dishes are say with all that buttering and flouring she does!!
OMG! Same here, my hubs and I just looked at each other and said "oh no"!
we too thought the cable went out until we saw the credits. Extremely disappointing :(
Wow! Never knew I looked that good!!! LOL
thats hilarious!!!!
Looked on my box of Quaker oats 150 1/2 cup
!
I looked up the hummingbird cake it looks
I have to try it after I lose these holiday pounds LOL
I was failing miserably and then I looked at the end
and thought how sweet. I just love these animals we are in charge on here on earth.
I saw what looked like a good one called - sm
"Yoga For The Rest of Us". (Found it online). I was actually researching to see if yoga could be helpful for strengthening a bad back, and her exercises seem helpful. A few were posted and I tried them, liked them, and added them to my regular after-running stretching routine.
I've looked into buying them just to have
on-hand just in case, but there are sooooo many different kinds that I didn't even really know what to look for...
The dictionary that I looked in is American...sm
and it said stupider, stupidest when used as an adjective. So I guess it is American way too.
I guess I have always looked at this a little differently.....sm
I was taught and have always believed that a gift is just that....a gift, freely given without the feeling of being obligated to give in return. I was taught how to give freely by seeing my parents give freely and because they wanted to, not because they expected a gift in return.
That is how I have tried to teach my sons, by giving freely to them on their special days without expecting anything from them on days that are special to me. Sometimes I have received gifts, sometimes not, but I know that I always have the most important gift, that of their love, and they know they have my love as well.
Have you looked for local rescue groups?
Sometimes local rescue groups will help you to get your pet placed in a good home. I would do this before sending her to the pound or placing an ad.
You know how I looked at it? I tried to validate keeping my ovaries for (sm)
for the exact same reasons you are, but then when I thought about the risks involved, I then justified it in my heart and mind that a total complete hysterectomy was to be my path because I was afraid of anything metastazing to other organs, etc. In the long run, I figured I would have to lose the ovaries no matter what (whether it be now or years later), but the fear of me having been able to prevent it when I had the chance made me very comfortable with my decision.
I really can say that I have not experienced any side effects at all from it, but I do feel more at peace mentally just knowing that I have one less thing to worry about. Of course, this is not saying it will never reoccur somewhere else (God forbid), but I took care of the immediate problem completely.
I am going to continue you in my prayers and please let us know when you are going in so that we can all be here for support. Your decision is the best one you can make for your friends, family and especially for YOU. ((((hugs))))
She looked pretty trashy in my opinion...sm
too bad at that - she looked a lot better before the fake boobs, goofy hair cut, etc.
Hmmmm, honestly, if my body looked like that.....
I'd probably post pictures of myself all over the internet too! LOL
lol, but for the first time I really thought he looked adorable!

I've looked for jobs on CraigsList!
Nice site. My sister lives there, LOL.
She looked like a skeleton. RIP, Tammy Faye

I looked for this in the grocery store last night
but couldn't find it. What brand is it?
Yes!!!! Her eyes looked different to me but I couldn't exactly figure out why!

I thought her face looked like she had Yorkie ...sm
in her. She is so pretty. I would love to see the pups all grown up now. What was the father of the pups? Yorkie, Shih Tzu, etc? I bet they are cuties too.
made donation then looked at website
I recently got a call for a find a missing child organization. Made my pledge, got the envelope, wrote the check and mailed it. I checked out the webpage and it hadn't been updated in 2-1/2 months! I just think kind of odd as daily there are children that have been abducted, are missing etc. I never heard of it before but will remember if they call again. I am going to ask for the website from the caller and check it out myself. If they cannot give it out, I can't give it out either.
Are organizations hiring telemarketing services and your name is in a database somewhere that you are a likely donor? I wonder how that works.
Back in the 70s my youngest sister looked like
Kate Jackson from Charlie's Angels. Not intentionally, she just did. Same hair, facial features, etc. Even more weird was she drove the exact same car as Kate J. did on the show too. So she'd go to the gas station and such, and people would think that's who she was.
I, on the other hand, have never looked like anybody. Except once a 3-year-old that visited our home thought I looked like Juice Newton. (Wasn't that a singer?) Anyway, she kept calling me 'Juice'. It was kind of cute that a baby would think something like that.

Did U think Kelly Pickler's face looked different on Am Idol?
My 9yo looked at me one day and said. Mom I want to learn to play the "Acowstick guitar." I

I'm just telling what I found out when I looked into adopting a greyhound.
Maybe they all could do it, but maybe some are also more prone to it, and this is too risky for me. I would die if I had a dog that ended up eating my neighbor's pets.
I dunno..Mel looked pretty good in Braveheart!! NM

Oh, I loved Gabby Hayes. Thought Hoppy looked old when I was
xx
General Electric Cooper - our orange cat with stripes that looked like (sm)
electricity. I think? What were we thinking of? I always had a vivid imagination and parents were on drugs in the 70s so they probably thought that was hilarious.
What do you think of the quality of clothing today. What I looked at shopping today in nice stores
the stuff wasnt even sewn properly. Do you have to look at everything you buy or just hope it lasts a year.
I got my dog Walter at a boxer rescue and he looked like a boxer pup but I quickly discovered (sm)
He was either a mutant boxer or not even part of the litter I picked him from. He had the jowly muzzle all the pups had, but he was huge. He seemed to be the same age as the rest of the litter, you could tell by the eyes and the teeth, but he was kind of like the big clutz of the group. But oh so cute. He turned out to be huge and like a lab/great dane mix. He has the short fur of a boxer and the big chest, and I now think he either was an orphan puppy who got put in with the litter or mom had another mate. Either way, I am so happy he is the one I chose, he is such an interesting character and a really stunning and majestic dog. Still a clutz though, he falls down over himself on the beach and stairs. And he is so tall he prefers to sit on top of the stairs on the deck with his front paws a couple steps down. But I've always had rescue dogs and they are so special.
Walter, I posted below. I am thinking now they either put him in with the litter
