I am doing my best to teach my children not to lie, steal, cheat, etc. Why would I teach them about Santa, only to break their hearts down the road. When you tell your child about Santa, it is a lie and they are so broken hearted when they find out the truth. I sometimes wonder if it isn't heartbreak over the fact that their parents have lied to them, rather than that there really is no Santa. Besides, if I'm going to buy the gifts, I sure want the credit!!! That's my story and I'm sticking to it!
