got the second min pin a couple of weeks ago. My chihuahua is the boss of the house. He doesn't know he's tiny - he thinks he's large and in charge. He's quite a character. We rescued him almost 4 years ago, he was infested with fleas and in bad shape. Think he came from a puppy mill. Now he's pleasantly plump-trying to lose weight-and very happy.

I have 2 min pins - both have very
different personalities, but nothing mean. My oldest one is going to be 4 and he's the sweetest thing. The youngest one is 10 months and she is sweet, but in her own way. She does growl at strangers though, but she loves kids. She'll warm up to kids before adults.

and they wear clothes. They hate the cold and snow. My min pin loves to be warm. So he loves to have a sweatshirt or sweater on. Plus they look so adorable in them, I can't resist.
Any chihuahua lovers out there?
A friend of mine has 2 chihuahuas that need homes. They're brother and sister, about 3 years old, fixed. The usual story, have kids, no longer want dogs. I tried to talk her into keeping them, but not working. I can't take them, cause my house is already full to the max of fur kids. They're located in PA. I would hate to see them end up at the humane league, but that's where they're heading. So if anyone is interested let me know.
These would be stunning on a Chihuahua mix!
After meeting & getting to love my friend's tiny little Chihuaha, I've become a big fan of the breed! And they all seem to have such long, elegant necks. You should definitely get one with LOTS of jewels!
(How 'bout a different one for each day of the week?)

My son and his girlfriend got their Chihuahua sm
that way. Her cousin moved to California and she asked her to keep Chewy and another cousin to keep Lea. Well, Chewy was apparently the more difficult poochie of the two with absolutely no discipline in the past and probably a little abuse as well since he was hand shy, but now is just the most lovable little stinker around. Let me tell you, he could show his teeth and growl and was not afraid of anything. I had no doubt at all he could and would bite. All he needed was just a little discipline and now he is great. Well, the cousin called Saturday and she said she was pregnant and could only take one dog back and she really didn't want Chewy so now he is a member of my son's house. He's quite comfortable here with my dogs too and his post is in front of the full view door where he can stretch in the sun and look outside. Begs like the big boys too!
My female chihuahua mounts our male
cat who is a lot bigger than she is and when I say "what have I told you about doing that in public" she jumps down and looks at me with a real innocent "what?" look.
