You say a guy can freak out after a childbirth and
"no sex for 6 weeks and all that" WTF- does that mean he feels up children? Lady, there is a problem in your message. Any guy, no matter what he things as a cause, in his right mind does not feel up on young children.
Women still die in childbirth now, not just in the past.

Ours is a natural gas...sm
generator that is wired into our main fuse box. You can have as many or as few electrical circuits (rooms) wired in, depending on the size generator you buy. Consumer Reports usually does a good job evaluating these and gives good advice.

We got ours after a tornado caused a prolonged power outage then later an ice storm. It is a nice feeling not to have to panic when these things come up.

And, yes, as long as you have the circuit wired in where your computer, etc, is plugged in AND DON'T LOOSE YOU ISP CONNECTION, you will be able to work.

It is expensive, but in the long run, I'm glad we did it.
natural vs.
Originally, we went all out and only bought organic everything, including lunchmeat. Now we only buy organic milk. Everything else we buy is "natural." It is very hard to get USDA stamp organic and that is why the cost is higher.

Absolutely the best substitute for organic is kosher and you can mix and match from there.
(Godiva is not organic, but it is kosher!)
I think it is natural for him to

test the boundaries of his new situation, don't you?  Once he knows there are still rules and you are sticking to them, he will be fine.  I really wouldn't be too worried.  If he seems excessively angry, then that's another situation.  Hang in there.

We all seem to have a natural part here. But I keep my

There must be some sort of natural
repellent on the market that you can spray on the furniture so that when he jumps up there and sniffs around, whatever he does, he won't like it and will get down. I have heard of something similar with cayenne pepper or something in it that keeps them away...Will see if I can find what I am thinking and post it if I can.
I think it is a natural way to feel...BUT....sm
when you get involved with someone with children that is part of the deal. I snuggle and hug my kids all the time and if I was ever to divorce and date someone, they would just have to deal with it. He is with you because he wants to be with you and when he wants adult snuggling and cuddling it is you he will want. But when he gets time to spend with his daughter, you need to find something to entertain yourself and let them have their time. She will grow up and not want his attention soon enough. I say maybe 3 or 4 more years, tops, and then he'll be pretty much all yours :-)
Actually raw/organic/natural is the best
But you do have to watch where the ingredients come from because like one of the posters said they can contract parasites just like humans could if they have bad meat. I've attached a link. I think if you start pets at a young age they will take to the raw food diet, but trying to start an adult cat is difficult.

Was this a natural thing?
Or the result of fertility drugs/in vitro? I just don't know what I would do with 8 little ones! God bless them
While I am not a vegetarian, it is the natural
process for "creatures"
to eat each other. I hate when one of my cats kills another "creature" but that is their nature.
natural OTC medication?
Could you tell me what natural OTC medication she is taking? This sounds so much like my 16-year-old daughter. TIA.
No natural gas stove -- for heating only
It is a natural gas free standing stove with logs, etc.  Not a cooking stove.   Thanks for your concern.
Thanks so much! I went and got Clairol natural instincts
sunflower medium golden blonde - the one that washes out after 28 shampoos and doesn't lift or lighten because I was a little afraid to try that right now. I will tell you it straightened this mess right up! At least now all of the highlights appear the same color and are more golden, it is just overall darker than I would like but still much more flattering than what I had. When this starts to wash out I will go to Sally's and maybe try an overall lighter color as you suggest. Hopefully when all is said and done I won't even have to go to the salons anymore for color and pay them hundreds of dollars for a lousy job. I am a little annoyed because I did put out over $200 between the highlights and cut and tip but I guess I'll get over it :(

Thank you to all who helped! I feel so much better! I really am thankful for this board!

Out in Cali. it IS natural selection - with all the
gang-banger thugs filling up our emergency rooms to the point of them going broke & shutting down. You'd think by now some of them would see it's a pointless, useless lifestyle.

Does anybody know of a natural solution to remove bugs from your car without ruining the paint job?  thanks
Not sure about natural, but Bugs-B-Gone is what my husband uses.(nm)

Natural Selection in progress
Survival of the fittest, so to speak. And, yes, it is very reminiscent of The Stand. Hopefully I won't see the National Guard rounding people up on the news for quarantine anytime soon.
Walnuts- natural source of melatonin
Want a better night's sleep? Try sprinkling your dinner's tossed green salad, fruit salad or steamed vegetables with a handful of walnuts. Or enjoy a baked apple or poached pear topped with walnuts for dessert.

Melatonin, a hormone produced by the pineal gland, which is involved in inducing and regulating sleep and is also a powerful antioxidant, has been discovered in walnuts in bio-available form, making them the perfect evening food for a natural good night's sleep.

Melatonin has been shown to help improve sleep for night shift workers and people suffering from jet lag, but maintaining healthy levels of this hormone is important for everyone over the age of 40 since the amount of melatonin produced by the human body decreases significantly as we age, and this decrease in antioxidant protection may be related to the development of free radical-related diseases later in life.

In a study published in Nutrition, Russell Reiter and colleagues at the University of Texas have not only quantified the amount of melatonin present in walnuts-between 2.5 and 4.5 ng/gram-but have demonstrated that eating walnuts triples blood levels of melatonin and also increases antioxidant activity in the bloodstream in animals.

The authors theorize that by helping the body resist oxidative stress (free radical damage), walnuts may help reduce the risk of cancer and delay or reduce the severity of cardiovascular disease and neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson's or Alzheimer's disease. Walnuts, best known as a heart-healthy nut, are also a rich source of another highly cardio-protective nutrient: omega-3-fatty acids, so Reiter and his team will next investigate possible synergy between walnuts' omega-3 fats and melatonin. To us at the World's Healthiest Foods, this sounds familiar theme in Nature's symphony in which whole, wholesome foods each provide a wealth of nutrients whose harmony promotes our optimal health.

Magnesium is a natural muscle relaxant sm
I'd take it before bed. Myself, I get very relaxed and woozy if I take it, so I go to bed. Red raspberry leaf tea is supposed to be very good for cramps. I am allergic to them, so I can't tell you how that works.
What kind of dog do you have? It's hard to beat natural instinct.

My cat keeps killing birds and laying them on my front porch as little gifts for me.  I'm so thrilled at 6 a.m. when I get up and walk out on the front porch for my morning coffee and find a dead bird!  But thankfully my cat goes after small prey.  My neighbors cat brought home a big fat rat the other morning!  YUK!!!  I don't know where he got it and I don't want know!

Good luck!

Anyone have ideas for natural lipid-lowering agents? sm
I try so hard, oatmeal, almonds, whole grain bread, watch what I eat and drink, substitute honey for sugar, yet triglycerides and cholesterol high. Getting discouraged and feel like saying to heck with it. I did Google, same thing I do, they say it may be familial.

Pretty much natural. Did use a product called "Healthy Woman"
that my gyn recommended, helped with hot flashes.  It was a couple of years of messed-up and weird cycles then all of sudden it just stopped.  Still have hot flashes after about 5 years but not very bad or often.

I believe you can get it in most drug stores, health food stores, and on line. check on line, as you may find a better quality at a cheaper price. It works well.
New baby on the way.
Congratulations!!!!!! Hope you have a beautiful, healthy baby. I lost my first baby and it was 4 years before I tried again. I also think about the baby I lost, I don't think that ever goes away. I am proud to have two girls now to enjoy. Take pleasure in each moment. Enjoy!
I just want him to baby me
I am a female have been married to my husband for a year and 7 months, (no kids yet) and ever since I have been married I feel like I am babying him. I am more affectionate to him, I always want to cuddle with him, always worried about him and feel like I don't want to lose him. we have a great relationship open and honost. But sometimes I want him to run after me, to show me affection, to take care of me to feel like he is scared to lose me. I want him to tell me that I wanna go out with you with out any friends just the both of us, I just want him to baby me like I baby him. what do I do? trust me I have tried talking to him, but you see I don't want to tell him these things I want him to do it on his own. I go to school 2 times a week in the evenings and I always have to beg him to pick me up from school, I want him to tell me that he wants to pick me up. how do I go about? please help.
The baby's name is
Dannylynn Hope Marshall Stern. I think the move to Bahamas was Stern's idea and I think he is sly like a fox, i.e. the main players mother and son out of the way and now the baby who he is laying claim to with the name of Marshall in there (deceased husband's name). If you are the real father, you would demand to have paternity testing- we all know this is something he has tried (unsuccessfully thank goodness) to stop. The courts supposedly giving DNA results this past Tuesday but nothing yet. It would be a big shocker if the husband who died (Marshall) turned out to be the really father, wouldn't it? Can we say invitro?
My baby Fox isn't doing well.
He hasn't felt well for several days, but it seemed that every time we decided okay, we definitely need to take him to the vet, he would improve a little.

But today my son was getting ready to leave the house and Fox usually runs after him, barking, to try to get him not to leave. Fox started barking, but he couldn't get up. He was on the carpet, not the wood or the tile. He just could not get up.

So I took him to the vet and she examined him. He has arthritis in both his knees because of the surgery he had when he was younger (for patellar luxation). We found out a few months ago that his right shoulder is luxating in the same way that his kneecaps did.

Now his left shoulder is also luxating.

He's such a little stoic it is hard to tell exactly how much pain he is in. The vet gave him a prescription for a fentanyl patch. My husband should be home in a few minutes so he can help me put the patch on. The vet shaved a place on his back for it but she said to hold it in place for 2-3 minutes so that it adheres properly.

The vet said the pain reliever might make him feel so much better that he would be running and jumping around and injuring himself worse. If he feels well, the only way we can keep him from running around is to crate him.

I don't know what to do. I don't want him to hurt. I don't want to shut him up in a crate. He would go nuts - he is used to being very active.

I don't want to keep him alive and miserable for my own selfish reasons - that I can't bear to part with him. But I also don't want to decide too soon that his quality of life is unacceptable.

I don't know what to do.

First of all, congratulations! You are about to experience the greatest gift on earth. I was not heavy but had a friend who was. Mind you, this was way back, as I am older, but I was surprised that she actually went on a very healthy diet which was good for the baby, and actually lost a few pounds. Check with your docs, but perhaps this will be a great incentive for you. Be positive, it will all be good! Best of everything to you and your baby.
Baby's bpm.
Hello. I just had my first real appointment at 12 weeks today and the doctor, i believe, told me the heart rate was 114. I've been trying to do some research on this but the more time i spend on the computer the more worried i'm getting. I've been reading a lot of women saying they lost their babies. The rate was much lower and around 5-6 weeks but i'm still scared. If anybody has info. about this or knows a thing or two i'd really appreciate it until i can call the doctor tomorrow. Thanks so much. =)
My baby
Buster is unfortunately not a puppy anymore. He will be 14 in January. He has some arthritis in his back legs and has what we think are TIAs occasionally, but he still runs and plays like a puppy when he gets a new toy.
Maybe you could rig that baby to
heat the house!
Baby? lol
He looks like a big baby! lol How cute, looks like he poses for pictures often. I would definitely have that one in a frame with that beautiful smile! :)
Sorry about your baby...
Losing a pet is like losing a member of the family.  We lost our beloved 9-year-old black lab 4 years ago, the week of Christmas.  I had to take him to the vet because out of the blue he had an episode, that he just lied there and wouldn't respond.  I thought he was dead then.  He came to and I took him to the vet.  She couldn't find anything wrong with him, took some blood for testing.  He died the next day.  It broke all of our hearts and when I saw my husband cry (I had never seen him cry before in 13 years of being together), it made the hurt that much worse.
Hopefully someone will come up with 8 baby

right age for a baby?

For those of you who are planning to have kids, what is the "right" age to conceive? Of course everybody will have a different right time, but I'm just curious about other people's time lines.

What about Sun-In (to go along with the baby oil)...
and, more importantly, drive-in theaters - my boyfriend and I used to go to the drive-in almost every weekend in the late 70s/early 80s!!  I wish they would bring the drive-in back.
some relief for your baby...
Try hemorrhoid cream to the blisters...I swear it will significantly decrease the itching.  My daughter was around 4 when she got the chicken pox and I put Preparation-H on her blisters and kept it on them and she barely noticed them.  Please try this, it honestly will help!  Good Luck...and BTW, sounds like the doctor isn't the only one that is a jerk!!! ---to your "husband"...
Poor baby!
I hope you can figure out what's going on with her.
A note on my baby
I left a message on the board about how my babies F/L was measured short and the doctor told me the baby probably had down syndrome.  Well, I went to see a specialist who was very upset with the previous doctor and he did a level II ultrasound and my baby is perfect and normal.  They do not measure the F/L for down syndrome.  They measure the humerus bone.  Anyway to make a long story short-----thanks to all who responded !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Oh and the baby has very long legs......
2 is NOT a baby! It's a toddler and IMO too old...
to be breastfeeding! That's disgusting for a child that old and YES I would be offended and grossed out to see a mom breastfeeding a 22 month old! I have absolutely no problem with moms breastfeeding BABIES in public, but not a toddler.
Thanks for that tip on Baby Alive!
I was wondering such!  My daughter's birthday is in two weeks, and guess what she's asking for?  More food and diapers for Baby Alive!  Poor Baby Alive, she hasn't been fed since the day after Christmas!  She'll be so happy when birthday time comes!
Baby Alive
You bet!!! My 5-year-old loves Baby Alive. We are on our second extra package of food (10 pack). The cost of diapers was getting crazy so I gave it a shot. You have to adjust the pretty tightly but $7.00 for 40 diapers is so much better than $4.88 for 6! I am wondering if you can used baking soda and water for food? Good Luck!
My Mom got my Baby Alive from
a yard sale, but I loved her anyway!  I could only play with her in the backyard on the picnic table, or maybe I just chose to do so??? lol  Anyhow, we had great times and I'll never forget her, ever!
Baby Alive
Me too!  I will be 40 next September.  Wonder what became of my original?
