I get my professional strength ones on ebay for really cheap

They are less than $5 and are the same exact stuff they use in the dentist office. I have been using them for years and everyone tells me that I have the nicest teeth.

It will take a while to get strength up. I'm sure
aa
I wish you strength.
What a thing to have to face...

It seems like you, understandably, are in quite a bit of shock. Is there someone (wise) you can talk to so that you can sort some of this out in your head. Is there a free counseling service, pastor (even if not from your church) etc? If it were me, I would work to get my own thoughts together before confronting him, just to get an emotional toehold.

As far as feeling deceived, while it would be easy to lay this all on yourself, the fault is his. What was in his head to deceive you like this? What type of person is that? - I can tell though that he is someone you loved and that must hurt.

Take care.
Wishing you strength..sm
I have been in your shoes more times than I wish to count, so I truly understand your feelings at this point. Discovery of a spouses infidelity seems to be akin to that of experiencing the death of a loved one. You go through all the ranges of emotion from excruciating pain, anger, resentment, etc. It is a death, in a sense, as it is more the death of trust..trust in someone you believed loved you and would never do anything to hurt you. trust in the vows you all exchanged during your wedding cerimony. Whether the marriage can survive this depends on many things, with the biggest question being why did he turn to someone else in the first place? He may not have *sought* her out, per se, but nothing stopped him once the temptation was placed before him. That is a sign of whatever is *wrong* between you and he may not even know the answer to that. He would have to delve deeply within himself to find the answer to that and he would have to be totally honest with himself and with you concerning that. And you have to be totally honest with yourself, as well, as to whether it would be worth it to try to get whatever measure of trust back that you once had. If you can't, then it is doomed. Marriage is a lot of work, and hard work. Some people just are not up for the task, as to throw it all away at the first sign of trouble is sometimes easier than working through the issues that brought you all to that place in the first place. My heart goes out to you, particularly at this time of year when everything is supposed to be so happy and peaceful. Follow your heart and the guidance of that *inner voice* inside you. It will never steer you wrong, if you are honest with yourself and what you want out of your life and marriage. Do what is best for YOU and not always the advice of well-meaning friends and family members. Good luck to you and your family.
You need a professional
Unless your mil is a psychologist or psychiatrist, she cannot diagnose autism. First, have you checked the child's hearing? He may have wax buildup or some other type of malfunction that is preventing him from hearing you - and he may not be ignoring you at all. That would also explain the speech delay. Get audiology testing after your pediatrician checks for cerumen impaction.

Don't worry until you know there is a problem. Chances are greatly in your favor that it is not autism. Several children in my extended family had speech delay, and there are many reasons for it. All those kids were talking blue streaks by 3 years of age.

Your son sounds like a very normal little boy - get the ears and he hearing checked out. Please let us know how he does.

These posts come across as not being very professional,
in their jobs, just the opposite. I might (and underline that) throw the clothes in the dryer but what you hear are women crying about what to do with their children, how to do their house chores around their work time- Good golly, what I am saying is I do not think a majority of the MTs on here would be able to hold down a job outside of their home because their home interferes with their work. I say either work at a job, not cry about it or do housework. One post said if inhouse would probably stand around a water fountain, that is a hoot!! No work, no production, no money. So simple.
Yes, I believe you do need professional psychiatric
attention and fast.  I, for one thing, am not a size 6.  I am a size 14.  I also eat regular food and am not addicted to food with corn syrup in it.  I am, however, a smoker.  So with that said, I know your struggles with addiction.  Now it sounds like all you have to do is exert as much of that energy that you use to research the fact that it is the government's fault that your overweight on exercising and eating properly and stop blaming doctors and your so-called "thyroid problem".  Get a grip, life is too short.  Compassion is something you have for someone that has no control over their situation, i.e. cancer, multiple sclerosis.  Obesity is not one of those conditions, yet.  However, I did hear that obesity will eventually become a disability meaning that you'll get a parking spot closer to your destination; yeah, that's sure to help the cause.  Let's let fat people become even less active by deeming them disabled and give them special privileges.  Cut me a break.  Think about your saying.  I smoke, but I don't run around saying the cigarette companies put something in the cigarettes.  I choose to put the cigarette to my lips and inhale.  I do not, however, blame the cigarette company.  I blame myself making the CHOICE to smoke and not giving it up.  My CHOICE.  I do not consider myself "afflicted" with my cigarette addiction.  There is also bariatric surgery available, which would probably work very well for you since you are never hungry, but once a day, and that once a day you only eat organic fruit and veggies.  By the way I know for a fact that when you go for a bariatric surgery consultation, they send you to a psychiatrist for a consultation.  Do some research on that.
You need professional advice

Go here: http://www.daveramsey.com/ . (Clickable link below.) On the right side of the page near the top are "endorsed local providers" or ELP. Find someone local who can help you sort out your finances and figure out exact what you can afford and when. And get a copy of Dave Ramsey's Total Money Makeover (most libraries have it but you may have to get on a waiting list) and follow the plan it outlines. It's nothing fancy, just good old-fashioned advice: Save your money and don't buy anything you can't pay for with cash (except a house, and there are guidelines for that).

I understand that you love California, I have lived in both SoCal and NoCal and I particularly loved NoCal (Sonoma County). I would be living there right now if I could afford it, but I can't. I have a brand new house here in Oklahoma that we paid $175,000 for that would probably cost at least $500,000 in California, expecially since it is a lakeside lot.

So, if you plan to stay in California, the reality of the situation is that you will have to work harder and save more to have a decent standard of living. I think you realize that, since you are willing to work an extra IC job to help buy the house. But please, do get some professional financial advice before you take such a big step.

And good luck to you and your wife and your new baby!

then there would be no professional sports (sm)

I think probably over 75% of athletes- way over, are using performance-enhancing drugs at a professional level in all sports.  I think a lot of athletes do not even realize they are taking steriods or performance-enhancing drugs, they think they are *supplementing.*  You cannot stay competitive otherwise, no matter your talent and skill level.

I compete at a pretty high level in two sports, softball and bodybuilding (my division is called figure/fitnes), and steroid use is rampant even at an amateur level.  I am one step away from a pro card in fitness but I know I've gone as far as I can being natural.  I also am a trainer, besides MT, and most of my athletes that leave for college tell me that they know they will have to come make a decision about this if they want to go as far as they can.  I just try to keep them as educated as I can, knowledge is power, but I do think that to reach the top in an uneven playing field, well... it is very tough and a true shame.

Regardless of Barry's faults, there are many, lying and drug use both, he is truly one of our greatest ball players.  That power and intensity may come from drug use.  But that kind of true beautiful swing he has does not come from drugs, nor does discipline and determination.

This is a topic that leads to a good debate, that is for sure!

You need to seek out professional help . . .
This can't be fixed just by you changing your behavior. Both of you have to come to realize how the other feels and how to work towards the goal of a happy, giving, respectful marriage. From what you've written, it sounds like you have a passive personality, and it sounds like he's taking advantage of that. I would also suggest that you seek counseling through church, so that you can both discuss the spiritual side of your marriage and develop that as well.
I pray for healing for you both, especially for the children. Happy and loving parents are such a gift to children.

Or eat the 2 weeks and get professional from here.

When a professional bathes your cat,
just make sure you are are a mile away so you don't hear the sound the cat makes when the water touches him. I had one that could shriek, "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

you are a professional victim
You will need your time to argue with everyone else.
The post below about calling a professional - sm
restorer is a very good idea. My only idea would be to actually soak them and then gently peel them apart and dry them by laying them flat on toweling. It could be done this way, very tedious and time consuming but I think you'd be able to save them. Someone who does their own printing too may have some good ideas as you may need some sort of photo solution too to soak them in. Good luck.
Not boring, but professional athletes..sm
are definitely overpaid!
LOL! You are hilarious! So you get up, put your professional attire on sm
including your jacket and hose, probably heels too, and go to work? Wow! You are amazing! I bet you look spectacular in the morning! But not me. I'd rather spend that hour getting ready typing and making money. Besides, I'd feel kind of silly looking all gorgeous and "professional" hoping for a higher wage when the only person that gets to see me looking like this....MYSELF!!
We have decided to seek professional help.
My husband and I talked and decided that for all our sakes and to try and do things right, we are seeking professional help to guide us through this.

I feel somewhat more relieved with that in mind.

I hope all this works out for the best.

Thanks everyone
Yep, it was. There goes the best looking male professional dancer ever on the show....sm
Alec is some serious eye candy.
Wait, there would be professional sports, just not at the level we see now, you know what I mean? nm

City gal here. We have professional critter people, who SM
come in and collect rats, possums or other varmints who invade our homes. They charge around $200 for that service. Us city folk are real wimps.

A friend who has county house bought some device that emits radio waves that the creatures don't like and they leave. It works, because I have stayed in her house.

Or, as stated previously, borrow a cat. They will make short stay of that rat.
Get her professional help fast. Maybe family counseling. SM
Sometimes it just isn't one person in the family who has a problem. That came out badly, since I didn't mean you or any one in family in particular. Just dynamics of family life.

Best wishes to you. You will need a great deal of strength, but you can all come through this even closer as a family.
MY DAUGHTER is a strong, independent professional

So do my sons.

I didn't raise them as helpless, mindless animals.  I taught them to be strong.  I taught them how to take care of themselves.

You probably would let you kid take your money and stomp all over you.  You deserve whatever you got coming there.  Better keep your checkbook handy.

You call yourself a professional, you sound more wimp than woman. Hate to inform you, your not

You are an embarassment to other work at home moms/wives/MTs.  Guess you can't  take care of things and earn a living at the same time.  Seems your in the minority and really don't need to get so defensive since you started this.   No wonder ya work at home.

Ha, I'm cheap too
That's why I said I really can't afford to buy anything!
No, you are not cheap.
I personally find those tip jars tacky. When I worked in the food industry, we were strictly forbidden to accept tips at the counter and if the customers insisted, we were supposed to turn it in to the manager, although the managers were usually cool and let us keep it.

Go to Ebay
Type in Busch Gardens Coupons and there was one on there for the Williamsburg area.
Don't buy them on eBay. sm
You can make a poodle skirt from felt. You will have to approximate your daughter's waist measurements, but a poodle skirt is basically a full circle with a zipper and a waistband. Since you make it from felt, you don't need to do a hem or anything like that. If you buy 72" felt, no seams at all are needed.

Then use the same pattern to make the petticoats. Get really stiff nylon netting and make a drawstring waistband. Make it maybe a couple of inches shorter than the skirt and presto...instant poodle skirt. Then you make a poodle out of white or whatever color you want and some fancy braid and you are good to go.

Hope this helps.
Not cheap I guess, but
being into gardening I was wondering if they would like to fill containers with a little container garden of coleus varieties or other small, less expensive annuals. They could keep them or give them to their moms for Mother's Day. Just a thought. Maybe they could paint the outsides of the pots.
cheap eats
There are plenty of cheap eats in the city once you learn your way around. For example, the fruit in Chinatown is fantastic, and a whole lot cheaper than what I pay in my town. But my very, very, very favorite is a Middle Eastern pushcart on 6th and 56th(?) outside the Hilton. They sell a chicken and rice dish for $4 that is amazing. It is a huge amount of food, and I usually split with my daughter. Throw a couple of drinks in and we have spent $6 for a yummy lunch for two.

It is not unsanitary like you might think. They have been there for years and are extremely popular. Last time we went to NYC, we stayed in Brooklyn and made a special trip to the pushcart. They are there during the week for lunch only.
yeah ours did too but they are the cheap
they don't last long.
cheap beauty
Benzoyl peroxide at night (zit cream) Aveeno 70 SPF face sunscreen during the day. The sunscreen has some type of silicone in it with lots of vitamins and some zinc for a shimmering effect. The benzyol peroxide cream sloughs off the dead skin cells, but it stains bed sheets and clothes, so get out your white pillow cases. The sunscreen is about $10 for a large tube.
Ebay Question
I need some opinions here. I won something on Sunday and paid immediately thru PayPal as the auction stated. I posted a comment to please let me know when the item shipped because I wanted to make sure I was home. I didn't hear back yesterday, so I emailed the person directly. I STILL haven't heard back. When do you think I should contact ebay and find out whats' up, or should I try and contact her one more time? My credit card has been charged already and I hate it that there is no communication.

My ebay experience

I supported myself on ebay while going to school for MT.  It was great back then (2001).  I have a few things on ebay now and hardly anyone looks.  (handmade jewelry, stocking stuffers for kids, just small stuff).  Much different than it used to be.  I think it's too big.

Check ebay
I found six copies on ebay, that may be one of the few ways to get new movies on VHS anymore.
I purchase a lot on Ebay and always get sm
as described. In fact, I negotiated with a seller last Thursday for a pair of headphones for my son and got them today. Of course, I will probably have a not so good experience in the future, but chin up, most sellers are honest and reliable.
I did check ebay......SM
several times; i keep hoping i'll find them, that someone will decide to sell what they have.  i think it actually is a new pattern that just came out this year, so whoever has them may not decide to get rid of them this soon, but i'm going to keep checking!  i am also going to check out their website.  thanks very much!
Did you check eBay?
That's the first place I check when I'm looking for something like that. I also just did a quick search on Amazon and they have American Girl things, too.
ebay problem...sm
I bought a Tabers Medical Dictionary the newest edition for $20 plus shipping on ebay.  I paid for it over a week ago.  I haven't gotten it yet.  I have emailed the seller and I have gotten his phone # from ebay.  He does not reply to emails and I can't reach him on the phone.  What the heck should I do?  I want my dictionary.
Contact Ebay again.
It may just be delayed shipping with all the holiday rush. I haven't shipped anything this year but in the past the post office has told me they don't guarantee the same as normal.
I went on ebay and it directed me to ...sm
paypal resolution center. I had to give transaction ID and a statement of what happened. The seller has 10 days to respond and if not then I can file a paypal claim and they will review and possibly take the money out his account and return it. I have tried to email this seller repeatedly. I have even gotten a phone # from ebay to contact him. I left a message with my phone # on anwering machine. I have heard no response back.
eBay rules....sm
state that sellers have up to 30 days to ship items once they're paid for.... just as buyers have up to 30 days to pay UNLESS it's posted otherwise in the original listing. My guess is that with the holidays the seller has gone away for a few days. Furthermore eBay/PayPal won't open an investigation until it's been 30 days past the day of the sale.
eBay sellers
Hi sm!

Yes, I have been buying and selling on ebay for over 10 years.

I go on ebay sprees every now and then - sm
usually odd stuff, some designer silk stuff now and then, goals for me to reach if I ever lose the weight I need to. I tend to shop when I get stressed, down, etc, but try hard not to as it has gotten me in trouble in the past. Just bought one of those Thane steam mops on line, only $40 (that is total with shipping)---used, but hey a lot better than the $99 they go for new. Been wanting one for a while but DH would kill me if I spent $100 on one, so went this route, he will be PO'd enough about $40 but happy if the floors get cleaned on a more regular basis of course.
is this *selective remembering* or is she CHEAP?

Salonpas is cheap - cheaper still at Sam's
I think you can buy a huge box for under $10. They are good on sprained wrists, too, my daughter gets those after doing carpentry around the house (talented girl) and we put them on and they work great. I use the slightly larger ones on my chronic low back pain and while they don't last for hours, they give pretty good relief of moderate to low pain and last about an hour. And they really are inexpensive. I learned about them in a Chronic Pain Class I was taking at my HMO, thought what can I lose, and found they work well for me.

cheap and easy meals?
What are your favorite quick and cheap family meals?  I have to bring my grocery budget down.  I need some ideas for meals that can be made for about $10.  My family is getting tired of spaghetti, chili, pork barbecue sandwiches and sloppy joes.  What do YOU whip together on the cheap?  I'm all ears.

Chicken casserole

3-4 boneless chicken breasts
8 oz sliced mushrooms
1 C shredded swiss cheese or mozzarella
1 1/2 C stuffing (Stove Top in can)
1 can cream of chicken soup

Cut up boneless chicken in bites. layer in 9 x 13 pan. top with sliced mushrooms, then shredded swiss cheese. mix together soup and wine/broth and pour over top.
