A lotta hype behind it, and apparently the symptoms are
Tamiflu, etc. are apparently quite effective in fighting it. People always die during a flu outbreak, usually not of the virus itself, but of complications. High death rate in Mexico probably has a lot to do with poverty and lack of health care for so many. I think the mask-thing is a little extreme, especially outdoors, but it's always a good idea to wash your hands often and carry those alcohol-based wipes. I use those after using an ATM machine, or going to the supermarket, shaking hands with people, etc. Probably a good idea after handling money, as well.
Yesterday I got this forwarded, totally panicky email from someone I know regarding stockpiling food & supplies, etc., as if it were the end of the world.
That's pretty overboard, if you ask me. But then again, some people tend to react that way to just about anything on the news.

I agree, in the beginning the media was in such a hype that we got panicky
and now they slowed down too much with the reporting so that we got the impression that it is over, but it is not yet!

Oh, me too - Love Adam
He was one of the only ones I absolutely loved last night. I think overall a lot of them gave poor performances, although I did love the 16 year old, I can't think of her name. My daughter voted quite a bit last night for the both of them.
I totally believe Adam has this in the
bag unless he totally screws up. With the exception of his Ring of Fire interpretation (which wasn't really bad, just totally off the wall) I really believe he is the best of the lot. Think he and either Danny or Allison will be in the finals.
Adam's Mad World
I thought he was excellent! I started out liking Danny and still kind of do, but he doesn't have me on the edge of my seat with anticipation about what he's going to do this week. I start out not carying either way about Adam, and now I think he's the best. Loved this performance!
FYI - Idol ran 7 minutes over on Tuesday night and Adam performed last, which is why you probably missed, and why most people's Tivo's missed it too!

Yes, I agree he's become over-hyped. But to be honest, he's the only reason I am watching AI this season. All the other contestants remaining are BORING. I do believe Allison has a great voice and could have a very good future in music. Danny's songs all sound alike, and I have found him uninteresting from day 1, although he does have a decent voice. I always look forward to Adam, he is so talented and diverse. I don't get it when people say he's screechy, that's not what I'm hearing, LOL! He is on a totally different level than all the remaining contestants. My only beef with Adam is that his eye makeup looks so much better than mine does (when I bother with it).

But America is voting, and "niceness" and mediocrity ofen wins out over raw, unbridled creativity and talent. It just turns a lot of people off. People gravitate toward the familiar and comfortable, and that's what Kris is. Nice voice, pleasant personality, but compared to Adam, like sitting back and watching the grass grow. Adam will be a huge star, win or lose. At this point, it doesn't really matter who wins.

Let's face it, the show's seen better days. It was fading, then along came Adam. I for one would not be watching this season if not for him. I'm sick and tired of American Idols' antics, yet Adam keeps me coming back. Next year I'm done.

I had very low BP when I was tired a lot...
went to the doc and he told me I needed to eat more protein. I was not only tired, had low BP but was also cold all the time. He also ran me through the battery of tests and everything was okay. I eat very healthy, have only one day that I call my bad eating day, on that day will have dessert, maybe fries or a soda. I exercise 5 or 6 days also, that revs me up too. It sounds like you are doing really good things for yourself, especially with little ones to chase! Have you been to the doc at all?

How many MTs out there are just tired all the time. I feel run down all the time and I shouldn't. I do not drink caffiene because I have mitral valve prolapse. This is getting old feeling bad all the time. Any suggestions? TIA.
He is tired a lot, but I put that down to the insomnia - sm
He goes to bed at 9 or 10 and wakes up at 2, so living on 4-5 hours of sleep a night would make you a bit tired. No jaundice. He has some body ache from time to time, but figure that is normal aging. He only gets nausous after cooking. He cannot eat right after cooking, his mom is the same way though. He does not have a good appetite though, that has been getting gradually less and less, eats a light lunch and dinner, no snacking thoughout the day, though he has not lost weight, probably because of the beer though. He has had a lot of stomache upset lately, so if I get get him to a GI doc maybe we will discover only gallstones. He has had a couple kidney stones already, though he only mentions them after the fact. I told him he has to keep the stone so we can get it checked/analyzed to see what type of stone it is. He is an ostrich with its head in the sand. I just dread if anything ever serious is diagnosed as he will most likely refuse treatment which I think is insane. I have a very strong will to live and we have 2 kids, so it is hard to understand. AS for the other comment on the will, yes we did that years ago, and we both have life insurance as well so in that respect I'd be okay, but I'd rather have him here, not in the ground.
I'm in my 1st trimester and very tired....sm
with my last pregnancy, which resulted in a miscarriage, I wasn't. Anyone else have a lot of tiredness? I used to sleep only 6-1/2 or 7 hours a night and now am sleeping 8 at night and taking a nap during the day. I'm hoping the tiredness is a good sign. I see the doctor this week for my first checkup.

I think you need to go see a doctor, I have an appointment next week to find out where the fatigue I have is coming from. Good luck.
