I was born in the 40s and I have never farmed nor did I have to babysit. Where did my parents go wrong? I remember as a young age going swimming at the lake, going downtown to shop (say around 14 or so), skating, horseback riding and the like, parties. My mother was a divorced woman and she, OMG, worked away from the home and OMG again, she had some lady who used to watch us while she was away. I guess now I need some therapy, right? I had a wonderful childhood, unlike most I read here thinking a child of divorce will be forever scarred for life.
