toddlers need toddler-appropriate terminology
a female toddler does not know a v-jay is not what she looks at in the mirror. Pelvis is more appropriate IMO. Toddlers want to see everone's everythings at that age. I can't see putting her in a position of going up to an unknown male and asking to see his this or that anatomical part. There are several sex offenders in my area - too much of a risk.

Why are we rushing to make them grow up so fast? My little one will get more anatomically appropriate names as she goes through elementary school. For now, pelvis for the front and bumm for the back will work just fine, TYVM.
2 is NOT a baby! It's a toddler and IMO too old...
to be breastfeeding! That's disgusting for a child that old and YES I would be offended and grossed out to see a mom breastfeeding a 22 month old! I have absolutely no problem with moms breastfeeding BABIES in public, but not a toddler.
elderly man/toddler any difference?
Would you leave your toddler unattended with 3 pitbulls? No I don't think so, and neither should an elderly person be left with that many big size dogs no matter what the breed!
toddler wants to shoot my family

My 5-year-old daughter got off bus today crying hysterically and it took me a long time to calm her down.  She had told me that we needed to get out of the house because Maya (a girl in her pre-k class and on the bus) was going to have her father kill all of us with his "big gun".  My daughter was kind of hard to understand because she was sobbing so hard, but I heard that plain and clear.  She told me that she didn't want to die and she didn't want Maya to kill us.  She said that we should move or just leave until it is safe.  She really believed that this little girl was going to kill us or have us killed.  Now, I don't know the little girl or the little girl's family, but this kind of got me shaken a bit.  On one hand these are only 4 and 5-year-old children and I assume that they might see things like this on tv and so on.  On the other hand I have read stories about 5-year-old children killing other children, pets, and even siblings with guns.  I wrote a note to the teacher just asking her to keep an eye on these two girls while at school, but I don't know if I am going to send it.  Any advice?  I am suppose to be working right now, but this is really getting to me.

Dear whoever started the toddler argument below...
and everyone else who felt they had to respond with petty bickering and hijack an otherwise amusing thread....let it gooooooo. Deep breath....there ya' go? Feel better?

Thanks.
Poor babies!!!! As far as working with a toddler underfoot(sm)
I had to work when mine were sleeping...I did get a teenager neighbor to come and play with and watch him while I worked..she was much cheaper...I think you should get some kind of financial benefit for keeping the child and there are a lot of child care options for people in situations like this I think. I would contact the Dept of Social Services in your area. There should be a lot of options for you. You are so sweet to take the baby into your home. I think there would probably be a lot of people who would love to take the infant also. Best wishes to you!!

Dear parents of toddlers
Please make sure someone is supervising your child after the church service. I love your kids and do not want to see them hurt. So when I walked into the Sunday School room after the service and saw a group of two and three year olds leaping off the table like a bunch of lemmings, I was very concerned.
Dear parents of toddlers - 2:
Do not inject them into other people's activities if they are uninvited.

If they weren't invited to the party/wedding/etc, don't bring them.

If they can't behave in a restaurant, don't bring them.

If they can't be quiet in a movie theater, take them outside. Better yet, if it's not a kid-movie, don't bring them.

Dont show up at any public outdoor activity (volleyball game, Tai Chi, baseball practice, dog obedience class, etc) and expect the participants of that activity to watch out for (ie, 'babysit') YOUR kids. If someone gets hurt it's YOUR fault. If you're too lazy to keep them under your control, don't bring them.

When diaper-changing time comes for small toddlers and infants, why do you feel it's okay to do this on a dining table at the ski-lodge cafeteria? YEEEUUUCCCK! If you can't do this in the restroom, or better yet, in your own car,
please.... don't bring them.

The same goes for hiking. On more than one occasion, I've come across someone's disgusting poop-filled Pamper sitting by the trailside. I'll pack out other people's (or should I say PIGS?) trash when I come across it, but not soiled diapers. If you can't pack out the kid's crap, then DO NOT BRING THEM.

Old folks hating toddlers?
I am older and just glad they are not around. Don’t want to fool with them, put up with their crying, screaming, making messes, pouting, crying. I want my golden years to be just that, without the brats.
Dear people who are not parents of toddlers...
Please keep in mind that EVERY child is bound to misbehave in a public place at least once. My son is VERY well behaved for a two-year-old, but on occasion, he has a meltdown. This does not mean that I should not take him anywhere. My husband is deployed and sometimes, I just need to get things done, so please stop being so darned judgemental. I, too, hate a badly behaved child whose parents do not watch him, but if a kid cries in a restaraunt, sometimes there's not much to be done about it.
I offered up no excuses, simply said that ALL toddlers..
misbehave at some point in time. They are people like you and I and have bad days, like you and I.
senior citizens babysity toddlers
Dear toddler hater,
A while back someone got the idea that all those people in the nursing home should be playing with all those kids in daycare! Guess what! It did not work! Why? Because old people were jealous of the kids. So the great american experiment failed and now the old people sit in their diapers alone and the kids get to go the movies with their moms while their dads are in Iraq!

Sincerely,
Defender of yucky, loud toddlers.
Dear mother of toddlers who think we all love
I see toddlers allowed to run around, screaming, yelling, standing up in chairs in restaurants, etc., etc. Most people who are not the parents do not care for this at all. We are annoyed that you do not control your kids. You have NO excuse for not doing so. There are plenty of times when one parent is the only 1 around so make the kid mind!!
How do you feel about toddlers being taught to call their private parts
a v*gina and a peni$ ? Just wondering
