I applaud you
for your love for your grandchild that you give so freely, and you sound like a really wonderful person. Kudos to you for your unselfishness.
I too applaud you for the doggie
I am just so glad when people do this, so many of our furry friends need a good forever home.
And I'm gonna applaud yours!
I agree, although I am not quite old enough to be a grandma yet, we still got spankings, but not too many because after 1 or 2, we usually learned our lesson. I spank my kids too, when they need it, just a swat on the butt usually does the trick. I also agree with the switches suggestion, better yet make HIM go pick it...good luck and God bless!
I wanted to do rescuing
before Christmas I discussed with family and really did not know which way to go. I adopted an animal shelter dog and in turn met a lovely young lady that I work with now doing lots of animal rescues. There is nothing in my life that has been as rewarding because these are animals that need just a helping hand. I first bought them and now we have our license and able to pull from shelters, no expense to us and then we rehome. The so called shelters do put animals down a lot and especially pits. We make sure spayed or neutered with papers back to us and will take the furries back, no questions asked, if any problems in their new homes. I will feed any animal that happens by my yard, always think they are hungry and try to find their parents if I can. My husband also not the animal lover I am but that is ok. I still fulfill my desires.
I do animal rescuing myself and what I know
is the shelters will not do anything to rehabilitate feral cats, just sending them to their death. If you do not get kittens very, very early and socializing them you have a problem on your hands when they are left out too long.
My rescuing was a success today
I was able to get a mother with her 2 puppies, another puppy and 2 more adult dogs, a total of 5 lives saved. I am working with a lady who rehomes these. I am so pleased with my new "job."
Made me cry. Bless her for rescuing - rescuers
are a very special breed themselves, no matter which breed they rescue.
