from you. Their time on this early is definitely too short. She has known love and comfort from you all these years, and for her it has been an eternity. She will always be a part of this time of your life.

The vet should give her something to put her into a comfortable sleep before the other merciful drug. I wish I could offer more suggestions. My Sasha's time also nears.

Slipping rib syndrome? sm
There is a girl I know who has been having this kind of problem for over 3 years, to the point that she was on chronic strong pain medication. A few months ago, she was diagnosed with slipping rib syndrome caused probably from a bout of costochondritis that didn't fully go away and caused her rib cartilage to basically wear down and make her ribs start rubbing against each other. They tried epidural blocks that helped temporarily, but she finally had her lowest rib on one side removed about 6 weeks ago and was without pain there for the first time in years. She is possibly going to need the next 2 ribs removed on that side and possibly all 3 on the other side to completely take care of the problem. Resting and antiinflammatories are the first line of treatment, though, if it is still early in the process. Hope you get some relief.
boy i'm slipping today, stories, not stores...
