fanatic here

I guess I am a "fanatic"  but that is fine with me.  First, IF my child came to me and said they were gay, i would of course love them in spite of that.  God loves us in spite of our sin.  But I would tell them that I didnt agree with their choice, that it is a sin and I would show them in the Bible what God says about it.  I would pray for them and leave the situation in my Lord's hands because that would be all I could do.

Now, just because YOU say that the Bible is left for interpretation doesnt mean that is so.  Just because you think you are right, doesnt make it the truth.  I have my beliefs, you have yours.  Some people are presented with the truth and just cannot or will not see it.  There is nothing that I can do about that.  God says that in the end many will call his name but he will not hear them, like they didnt hear his truth when he was trying to reach them.

Right now, in this post, God is using people, Christians, here on this very board at this very moment to present the truth to you and you are shutting your heart to it.

Wow, another Nicorette fanatic like me!
I have been off the smokes off and on, mostly off including evacuating for 2 hurricanes, for about 8-9 years now.  Love my Nicorette.  Can't bust out of that habit, though.  $$$$$  At least it doesn't stink.
Oh, I scrapbook! :) sm
I must have missed your post.

OP, I don't know anything about the Cricut either; I second the 2peas suggestion, that's a great resource. Lots of ideas and interaction over there.

When you say scrapbook programs, you mean like digital scrapbooking? 2peas actually has a whole digital section that's pretty informative. They recommend Photoshop, which apparently you can download a version of for a 30-day trial for free before buying. It's pretty interesting. I'm more interested in digital assisted scrapbooking myself, maybe just doing a few elements here and there on the computer and them combining them the old-fashioned way. I just like cutting paper. ;)

Now, if you mean photo organization software, I use the Creative Memories Memory Manager software and it's wonderful for organizing and light photo editing. You can sort pictures into virtual boxes and albums so you can go back later and retrieve to print and stuff. Plus you can back up onto CDs, disks, or a portable hard drive for safekeeping.
I also scrapbook sm

I started this year scrapbooking.  I am putting togethr a book for my daughter who just graduated from college. It has taken me over 6 months but I am getting there.  My sister who has done it for 4 years has all the tools that comes out.  I heard talk about the ciruit tool but I have no experiene with it.  Scrapbooking can be very expensive I see.   I have bought a lot of stuff off of ebay.  You just have to be careful.  Sometimes the shippinng is more than the product.  Glad there are some MTs that scrapbook.

It's weird, but I'm a brown rice fanatic and weight starting to come off (sm)
I bought a little rice cooker because me and my guy were hungry some nights after working out and we got hooked on rice as kind of a lowfat, low cost, no frills snack. I've gone crazy for it for some reason and eat it sometimes 3 times a day. I guess it's the complex carbs, but it's also seemed to reduce my craving for simple carbs; I'm eating less bread, much less soda, and craving fewer sweet things. I make a batch and keep leftovers in the fridge and reheat if I have a snack attack. I figure, it's better than most of the alternatives (processed, high fat, etc.)
Scrapbook party
I did a scrapbook party for 4th grade.  The girls had to bring two pictures of themselves.  They would decorate two 5x7 pages, one they got to keep and the other with a special happy birthday message for my daughter to keep in a scrapbook.  She still loves having that and she is in 10th grade.
Need help with scrapbook project sm
I am only familiar with 8-1/2 x 11 documents in Word. I have no scrapbooking experience at all. What I would like to do for an important birthday of a teen is to insert some 3 x 5 cards in album sleeves where I will be inserting old pictures. The cards would explain some family history, etc. I don't want it to look cheesy and I have seen scrapbook "kits" which I know I would mess up. Just knowing how to make up the 3 x 5 cards in "Word" would help. I am going through the old photos now and birthday invitations, etc., any suggestions? I have already purchased the album with a nice cloth cover and 3 picture slots per page. Is there a way in "Word" to make the card-sized text. Have tried handwriting but husband states it's hard to read my writing. This hopefully will be an "heirloom" of some sorts (or perhaps they'll laugh at it and toss it). It's for a 17 YO male. TIA
Sorry, got happy way too soon, congrats to Steelers, still love Kurt.....(really-a-Patriots-fanatic,
