My 17-year-old daughter had her first visit this month and we talked about it. I, too, am hesitant because it is so new. The doctor was very excited about it, but I'm sure all the doctors are thrilled to have a new vaccine/drug to push and get more $$$. So, I am still undecided.

It has already been discussed with the dentist and
her orthodontist. The damage comes from over use of any product, including those treatments one can receive in the dental office setting.
