I agree - the show is in the toilet. sm

I, too, have watched since the start and the writing has gone downhill. I guess Ray is off the show and Luka may be killed in a plane crash (I think?). Why did they mention the hightened terror alert at the beginning of the show? Did you read somewhere that Luka wil only be in a handful of episodes next year? Is Neela going to be paralyzed from the waist down after having people step on her? I agree that the show should be canceled. There are no stories left to tell and no solid characters.

Anyone agree the show is getting very depressing?
I used to love this show, now not so much. Merediths' mom dies, Meredith's, step-mom dies! Meredith almost drowns/dies. George's dad dies. Wedding is canceled at the church. George fails his exam. Izzy's boyfriend dies. Adele hemorrhages and miscarries. This is getting a little ridiculous. And the finale I thought really stunk. I was looking forward to something great or *happy* for a change. I don't even know if I'll watch next year. Maybe they'll kill off the characters one by one until there is no more show? lol
I agree, the only show I think where the actors
are so completely believable. If I saw one of the actors elsewhere it would be so hard to remember they're not really the Sopranos! They'll always be Tony and Carm, etc., to me. I also have the DVDs but it's not the same; I'm SO going to miss it too :(
I agree, the show is totally ruined...
Definitely not the same. It is so sad that you have morons like that guy running that website and Howard Stern in this world who are apparently so miserable themselves that they have to ruin things for everyone else. Total downers. I guess money doesn't buy happiness, huh Howard?
Simon himself said that if Sanjaya wins he is "done". So it just may be the end of AI, as you said.
I agree, airhead show for airheads
nm
I agree with you...I don't watch the show anymore.
I used to, but first I got sick of how Kate treated Jon and really the lack of respect they have for each other...now it really makes me sad that the show continues and their family/marriage is falling apart. How can Americans watch a show where a family is crumbling before our eyes! Is it the morbid curiosity of it all? I cannot morally watch it anymore. I feel very sorry for the kids and have no respect for Jon and Kate who are still wanting to do the show because now they have a taste of living high on the hog and won't give it all up for the sake of their marriage and kids. They definitely had a price and were bought, in my opinion.
He's right. They plug the toilet. sm
Used to clean house many moons ago for a lady who used them all the time. Cost her a fortune to clear the piping out.
I use A LOT more than 2 squares of toilet paper. LOL

1 In 5 Adults Uses Pool As Toilet
Officials: Swallowing Urine-Contaminated Water Isn't Harmful
PHOENIX -- A new study by the Water Quality and Health Council found that nearly one in five adults admits to urinating in a swimming pool instead of using the toilet.
Eight in 10 adults are convinced their fellow swimmers are guilty of such a crime, the study said.
Nevertheless, health officials insist that swimming in and even swallowing urine-contaminated water isn't harmful to someone's health.
"Urine in itself has been purified through a whole variety of bodily processes so that it's removed a lot of the contaminants in it," said Don Herrington from the Arizona Health Department.
Swimmers should be more concerned about swallowing parasites than swallowing urine, officials said.
Last summer, dozens of swimmers in the Phoenix area got sick from pool water, forcing the closure of all 29 Phoenix city pools.
The parasite which caused the illnesses, Cryptosporidium, comes from diarrhea.
Phoenix Parks and Recreation spokeswoman Amy Blakeney urged sick swimmers to stay out of the pool.
"People who are sick need to stay home and remain at home for 14 days after they're symptom-free, especially if they have diarrhea," Blakeney said.
Though city pools electronically monitor chlorine levels, the city of Phoenix has begun to require swimmers to shower before they jump in the pool as an extra precaution.
"Taking a shower allows those materials to rinse off and go down as sewage, and then gets a clean body into the pool water, which is what we all want," Blakeney said.
Woman sits on toilet for 2 years...

um... worse is the no toilet seat covers!
what in the world???? i never even knew they DIDN'T exist until i moved to the east from the west, and they are not in more than HALF the public restrooms ive gone in... (i try to avoid these places but sometimes its impossible)...
but really that is like NEWs to me that they are no seat covers.... im assuming it is normal to everyone here that is local though?
TOO FUNNY about the hooks though... i feel the same way and haven't ever put my purse on the ground... usually they have somewhere to place it, even if its on top of the TP holder!
Worse yet - no door OR toilet seat ! - sm
I was warned about no toilet paper on a trip I took out of the country a few years ago. I was even told there would be older ladies sitting at a table in front of the bathroom who would give you 3 squares of paper for a tip prior to entering the bathroom. I was not warned about lack of seats and sometimes lack of doors to the stalls and no lock on the bathroom exiting door! I even stayed in what was their version of a 4 star hotel and on check-in had to ask for a roll of tissue (which was billed extra!). That was quite an experience!
Toilet seat cover on an airplane...sm
My mom and I were flying back from Las Vegas. We were completely "rummy" tired and absolutely everything was hilarious to us. I think this would have been funny anyway though:
There was an older gentleman on the plane and he was one of those who was always getting up and down and up and down (overactive bladder?). Well, when he walked onto the plane, we were all getting our bags put into the overhead storage and getting settled in our seats. He turned around to put his bag away and my mom and I noticed that he had a toilet seat cover hanging out of the back of his pants. He had his wife with him who was elderly also, but she didn't say anything to him. She had to have seen it because of all the getting up and down that he did. Neither my mom or I had the guts to tell him and I guess that we had a pretty spineless group of people on the flight because NOBODY told him. After we landed he walked through the terminal to get his bags with the flippin toilet seat cover STILL hanging out of the back of his drawers!!! I can only imagine his reaction when he figured out that he had had this thing stuck to the back of him for like four hours (or more) and didn't know it!!! Too funny. My mom and I still roll with laughter every time we talk about it.
The cat happened Monday. Toilet trauma was Wednesday.
I think I'm fine...just accident prone this week.
Teacher forces 3rd grader to unclog toilet
ST. GABRIEL, La. — Saint Gabriel police have arrested a third-grade schoolteacher and booked her with cruelty to a juvenile.
The parents of a student at East Iberville School filed a complaint against 46-year-old Julie Landry of Plaquemine, accusing her of forcing their son to unclog a restroom toilet with his hands May 7th.
Landry has been placed on leave with pay.
Landry is a first-year teacher, participating in an alternative certification program.
I missed the show but yesterday on her show
a couple of brothers came in and gave money to the family. Sorry I don't have more info, but like you, I do love the show. The brothers tried to give some of the credit to Oprah but she wouldn't take it. She really wanted the brothers to get all the credit.
What an awesome post! I agree, agree, agree completely with you.
You are right on the money in my book!
The show 24. Anybody know
when or if the show is coming back on Fox? What happened to it?
TV Show 24
Do any of you keep up with this show? Have any of you watched it from the beginning? I'm just getting into it and wondered if it would be worth buying the previous seasons' dvds. "Jack Bauer fan"
I think you would like the show
Planet Earth on discovery channel. It's got beautiful photography and filming of animals all over the world. A recent one showed a fox snatching a baby snow geese from it's nest, and you feel awful but then it shows the fox bringing the food to babies of it's own and realize it needs food too! It's all a perfectly laid out plan and we humans are the ones who really mess up the balance on this planet.
Anyone who can tell me what that show was about
I did not see and therefore cannot comment.
I like that show too.
nm
Has she been on the show
yet? I don't remember anybody named Maureen. I heard something, but it's a big time SPOILER so I don't want to say it, but I just can't think of who she is
It does not show W. VA. nm
:
the show is
The Morning Show with Mike and Juliet. Hopes this makes it on board.
Just show the cat the box
Just take her and put her in the box. She will naturally know what to do and should start using it again. If not, I would call a vet.
Best show on TV

Just the best show ever!
Funny, weird with some great eye candy.
There is a show that comes on TLC
that is filmed at the Brookhaven Clinic for morbidly obese people. They mentioned on that show that some of the residents had to be taken to the zoo for imaging because they were too heavy/large for regular equipment.
No, this is a different show s/m
True life, where unless I missed it (only saw the last 15 minutes), no religion is involved.
She will get her own show on TLC. Everyone will
xx
Yes, to me, he WAS the show. That
episode tears me up every time I see it. It was never the same after he left.
Just goes to show ya ....
I watched it and then the interview on GMA and that was priceless. What a truly joyful, humble and talented lady. I could have just smacked Simon - actually all the judges and most of the crowd for their initial reactions. Guess she showed them all looks are not everything and I am so happy this lady is getting all this acclaim. She is just priceless.
There is a show that comes on BET
on Sunday and it is called "Sunday Best." Anyone on that show beats what they have on Idol this year. I have basically stopped watching. No matter if Susan looks like poop, the people are sure taken with her. Adam will go the way of Taylor Hicks and Fantasia, one shot.
Probably not but maybe they'd contact them to be on the show! ; )
x
I didn't see the show
if it isn't too much trouble, could you tell me just a little more about "The Secret"
She seemed VERY nervous to me throughout the show, but
.
What is this show about? Haven't seen it.
x
I haven't seen his show but...
have seen the ads for his show on HGTV. He looks fun. Like you would want to invite him over to a party at your house, even if he couldn't decorate for you!!
Don't know about what he does with silk but whatever it is, I bet it is snappy!!!
Would like to show these legs but
ladies, come on now, who has a good remedy for OMG, that dreaded cellulite. I would not be showing these ole legs except for the fact I have to take some recommended water aerobics for my fibromyalgia and cover as much as I can but wish I could wear a mu-mu. Any ideas out there. Hey, by the way, do not want to hear about using used coffee grounds. Heard you could mix those with body oil and smear on legs. What a mess- did not work and then had that mess in my shower to boot!!
Just show them. Be proud of what you have.
That's my opinion, anyway. :) Don't be worried about how you look to others; most of them are probably all in a tizzy about what others think about them, too, and you don't really care what they look like, right?
That is precisely what this show was about...doing something
and letting people get involved in making a difference. If you don't want to be *in the loop* then don't join in on the thread. Simple as that. It's obvious you weren't realizing what tonight's show was about.
hey fool - the name of the show was....
AMERICAN IDOL GIVES BACK........
They have to fit the show around the commercials.
I could have done without almost everything except maybe 15-20 minutes.
The best show on television by far..
well written, fabulous actors. I am Italian and I am obsessed with the show...love the mob aspect of it, have all 6 seasons on DVD. Will miss my Sunday nights with the family...HBO is out of our house after this season, although I do like Big Love too.
how did you get your avatar to show
I have changed it but it won't show when I post? Watch it work this time.
I love this show.
It is interesting to me how the views change regarding this show in respect to poligamist themselves. Just from different interviews about this show. Some say the "heated scenes" don't occur and that the sexual act is for procreation period, whereas others say "we are human too". Surely there has to be. Nicki cracks me up playing them all against each other. I think Chloe Sevigny is just a mess. This roll was made for her.
I love that show! sm
It's fascinating. But it makes me so mad sometimes to see what people have had to go through to *finally* get the correct diagnosis. Some people they've shown were so close to dying, so very sick, and were being told nothing was wrong.
It makes me wonder how many people aren't lucky enough to find the right doctor to help them, and just continue to suffer and even die. Horrible.
I will definitely be watching this show!
Plus, I loooooove Lisa Ling. She is such a great reporter and so brave. She's not afraid to go anywhere to cover a story. I have so much respect for her and am interested in what she will find out when calling the insurance companies.
yes, cool show.

This study seems to show
that 8.7% of patients experience a postop incisional hematoma after a lumbar laminectomy, just to give you an idea of frequency of this complication. Is that what it was called - a hematoma?

Some show some class...
Though she's been everyone's joke, it seems, at least here's one person who's not trashing her.
This was a monologue from 10 months ago. Best thing on TV.
