We always used to use spray brake cleaner on the farm. Wasps would drop instantly, and somehow we

Still say microfiber cloths are the
best cleaner for anything, especially windows, TV screens, LCD screens. I have used microfiber cleaning cloths for over 6 years and never use any window cleaner, just water or at most soap and water, then rinse with just water. Never leaves streaks, when it's clean, it's absolutely clean. Also, they don't scratch anything!! I keep one in the car for car windows. All you need is one of these cloths and some water. One last thing, window cleaner leaves a residue that attracts dirt. With these cloths, you aren't using any type of chemicals, so once the window, glass, screen, etc. is cleaned with water, there is no residue to attract dirt. If there are streaks left behind, it is because it is not totally clean. Also great for taking scotch tape off windows without harming anything and no chemicals needed, just the microfiber cloth and water. During Halloween, someone left a "Booo" note on our door stuck with some awfully strong tape. Got out my microfiber moistened with water, and it came off in 1-2-3 without any residue left behind or any smudges, just plain ol' clean! Don't know why more people don't know about microfiber cloths.
Are they coming through your screens?
If so, a friend of mine told me to spray my screens with bug spray. Of course, I misunderstood her the first time and sprayed mine with hairspray -- big no-no! I had bugs galore trying to beat down my screen to get in. But anyway, if you have screens, trying spraying them with bug spray.
I have no problem with pre-employment screens....
That's a totally different ball of wax than wasting taxpayers' money to pay for people drawing unemployment to have to go through it. Employers pay for those pre-employment screens; whole different scenario. People on unemployment are people who were working, productive members of society who through whatever circumstance lost their livelihood. They normally are not drawing off of the system by choice but have been given a very small temporary lifeline until they find another job (not easy to do these days).
I will agree with you on testing people on government assistance though. Personally, I'd love to make sure my taxpayer dollars are going to feed and house and clothe rather than up someone's nose or into their arm.
Has anyone even thought about the VAST amount of money it would cost to test everyone on unemployment?
It's fascist and absurd.
LCD cleaner
I agree, my HP LCD screen instructions say absolutely no cleaners whatsoevere, just a damp soft cloth. I also use a soft feather duster across it daily which helps.
I had a house cleaner...
That charged 15 bucks an hour and she did everything I mean everything from dishes, to toilets, showers, tubs, garbage, no laundry though, windows, vacuum, sweep and more that I can't remember for only 15 bucks
So yes I think you can find someone that will take $15 for that!!
I had a vacuum-cleaner Dalmatian. She ate -- (sm)
oranges, sticks, gophers, anything leather, including a 6-foot leather dog leash. One day she even ate the plastic lenses out of the tail-lights of my dad's car. She was the easiest dog in the world to give a pill to! All we had to do was say, 'Want a treat?' and toss the pill at her. Didn't even have to hide it in anything. She'd catch it in mid-air and it'd go straight down her throat.
On Saturday I saw my DH using the vaccum cleaner. nm

natural bug cleaner for cars...anybody got one?
Does anybody know of a natural solution to remove bugs from your car without ruining the paint job? thanks
On another note...does the automatic cleaner work?
Wondering if I should get one.
Yes, but I still have to wipe that with cleaner once a week because of hair
and crumbled soap left by my son. Unfortunately, it didn't come with someone to do that for me.....BUMMER!
Poll time: What is the best vacuum cleaner out
We are talking hoses, cords, bagless, baggy, bulky, suctiony, heavy, you name it. I am looking for the perfect vacuum! Just moved from a house with central vac and I am going to miss it!!!
Thanks!!!
"The Cleaner" with Benjamin Bratt on A&E and
anything with Benjamin Bratt.
Two things. Every time I clean my LCD screen with cleaner for it it gets streaky. How do you get
rid of the streaks when you clean it. Also another issue, I got tired of always pulling out eyebrows and I am letting them grow in. Anymore do this and how bad does that look.
Cat away spray
You can spray on furniture and works for 24 hours. Also try rubbing catnip on scratching post. My cat disappeared 2 weeks ago. I think coyotes got him. But we could never keep him in. He also broke many a window screen escaping.
spray
keep a water bottle handy and spray them with it when you see them scratching -also spray Lysol or a solution of red pepper/water on the furniture - if it doesn't stain the furniture - check it first... good luck. .
Vacuum cleaner works great for me! Love those midair catches.

I wonder if some "pine" spray...sm
or some other holiday scent would appeal to your lovely tree and you... Bath and Body Works has some "home spray" that is rather nice. I purchased some called "spiced cider" for our Thanksgiving get-together (powder room is fairly close to our kitchen) and it worked out great. It is a very small container for $5.00, but it is so concentrated that you only need one little spray to make a difference. I don't know what other scents they have or would appeal to you, but we also have an artificial tree, so this helps bring in that tree aroma. Hopefully, I can find something similar to the spiced cider for the holiday season. Have a good one!
Collars that spray
My vet uses collars that spray something in the dogs face. I can't think of what at the moment but the dogs sure don't like it! lol
But with spray bottle you have to be with dog 24/7.
x
hair spray?... sm
My beautician recommends putting the hair up in ponytail, etc. and using lots of hair spray to keep the lice off. Don't think it's a "cure" but helped my daughter stop getting them. Have you replaced bed pillows? You have my deepest sympathies. I remember going through this over and over again years ago. Best of luck.
If you use nasal decongestant spray...(s/m)
don't keep it on the dresser next to your eye-moistening drops! This morning I came OH, so close to putting the nasal decongestant into my eye. That would HURT! (And my poor eye probably woulda' shriveled up like a raisin..)
OUCH! Now I keep them separate.
After a while, just shaking the spray bottle sm
worked with my cats. My MIL had to lock her cat in the laundry room at night (huge room, bigger than some bedrooms! LOL) because she kept biting my FIL's tubing to his oxygen tank in the middle of the night. After my FIL passed away, the cat started biting the tubing on my MIL's air mattress. At that point she gave up and gave the cat to a friend.
Hope you have better luck with yours! If you give them plenty of "safe" scratching alternatives, and spread catnip liberally on them, it should at least cut down on their clawing the couch. Be sure the scratching surfaces are sturdy, though - those two-foot cylindrical scratching posts are worthless. Here is one that might work better:
WATER spray bottle!
They hate it. Combine it with a fairly loud NO. They CAN be trained. Nail tips are probably humane alternative to the declawing thing.
Lipstick pepper spray
Thought the pepper spray in disguise was a good idea for anyone. Couldn't find anything like the one you mentioned, but there is a pepper spray that looks like a tube of lipstick for 8.99 at this website if anyone is interested.

Try Static Guard spray.
You can put Listerine in a spray bottle
and spray around the door frame. This will keep mosquitoes away, and hopefully that will mean fewer frogs and lizards for you.
spray bottle with water.
for you
Plastic Cap to a Lysol Spray Can up the....
Yes indeedy, most amusing one I ever typed. I cannot imagine how or why one would insert the plastic cap to a can of Lysol spray up the rectum.
All kinds of possible scenarios came to mind, and I kept myself amused all through my shift contemplating them!
100% against. Against alcohol, anyway. lol
nm
alcohol
Alcohol......
I personally don't drink with every meal but I do have wine now and then. A girlfriend of mine and her husband have a glass or two of wine just about every night with dinner and have for years, but I wouldn't say they have a problem.
I suppose you need to ask yourself if you didn't have it, would it stay on your mind until you had it.??
alcohol
I think 1-2 drinks a day is absolutely fine. It is relaxing, and I usually do the same. My mom has done it for years, has a glass of wine at lunch and 1 or 2 in the evening and she is well into her 80s and in perfect health! Enjoy yourself and ignore your roommate.
Lysol Kitchen Bacterial Spray
and then wipe. Works great. I love the stuff!
Usually a citronella type spray. If go with this, check
x
I think the spray does too, but the candle smelled good in the box
no scent upon burning!!
Haha! I'd have gone out one night and spray-painted
a great big ol' laughing yellow SMILEY-FACE on the pavement at the crash site!
For those who suggested alcohol..sm
alcohol is a stimulant and will have just the opposite effect. Melatonin helps, but I don't like its after effects, and it does have some. I recently came across a native american remedy called Cloud Walking Tea. It is a tea and it works. I sleep peacefully with no after effects.
Alcohol is NOT a stimulant, but
it is very short-acting for people with a normal liver, so it helps many people fall asleep, but then they wake up again after a few hours.
I said that about the liver because I have read there are some people whose livers don't work right and really can't handle any alcohol. That's kind of scary because people don't find out until their liver is destroyed, apparently.
*Alcohol* is the key word here - sm
and reeking of it is definitely a red flag. How would they get to the lake? By car? Alcohol and cars = trouble. Also, alcohol and water are a bad combination as well. If you're still on the fence about it, you could call the friend's mother and ask if the father is going or not. Chances are she's heard this question before..........
No, I mean no alcohol period. nm
Against lowering and against alcohol
I have a BIL who is an alcoholic. I have seen first hand what it can do to kids and the family as a whole, hate the stuff!!!!!!!!
you don't know that for sure. He says he thinks he's an alcohol.
nm
Or could he be using alcohol as excuse without
x
personality/alcohol
Both, I think. Alcohol makes personality traits creep out from under the woodwork. Surly, sarcastic, belittling, called me four letter words in front of the kids. Yes, I consider the way he talks to you to be abuse, especially if this is how he talks to you most of the time. Of course, everything was my fault. An alcoholic does no wrong. It is never their fault, even when they are down to their last dime with no family left. My children were 14 and 16. However, they did not go with me. He had brainwashed them into thinking that he was the only one who could provide for them, that I could only work for minimus wage and that they would have nothing without him. I stayed in the same town, we had joint custody, he had residential. He has since died and my kids and I are fine.
what about alcohol? that's legal

OFF spray for cats; also use mothballs in plastic baggie with sm
holes poked in the baggie with a fork. works for me!
Sometimes also pepper spray and an online recipe on how to make
That was also part of the story I saw on the news. I guess they put the pepper spray in the drink and then throw it. Not funny.
Two egg whites fried in butter flavored spray and a cup SM
of hot Lipton tea with lemon. Same thing every morning, and God help me if I look in the canister and discover I am out of tea bags! That just can't happen!
I have been told that pepper spray doesn't always work
She probably could benefit from self-defence classes as well.
or drugs combined w/alcohol
