I've been married 24 years. I love my husband and we've had a wonderful life together. As it happens, most of my friends are men my age or older. I find that I prefer their company to my female friends whose lives seem to be full of drama that, in my opinion, they create for themselves. Most of my male friends are married 20+ years, are well educated and successful in their careers, as well. It's definitely a different dynamic than if I were out in the dating scene. Maybe I live in some sort of parallel universe. I don't know. Were anything to happen to my husband, I wouldn't rule out marriage again. I just generally like men.
