We've been married for three, and we have known each other for 9 years. During the time we have been together I've suffered from a myriad of gyn/urology issues that make sex very painful. During the first two years of our relationship was long distance, we would see each other for about 1-2 wks every four months or so, which gave my body plenty of time to "recover". Once I moved out here and sex became more regular that is when my gyn issues got worse, and became more consistent and painful.

My husband has been very supportive and understanding through the whole ordeal, going with for Dr. appts and procedures. At first when we realized sex was not going to be an option most of the time, we became more creative and came up with other ways to be intimate, it wasn't the same, but we were both pretty satisfied. Now over the past six months I have pretty much shut down sexually. I have very little intrest in kissing, sex, giving or recieving oral sex, I just want to be left alone in that respect.

Obviously, this change has upset my husband quite a bit and he has understandably become very distant and feels I don't find him attractive anymore. Neither of us want a divorice, and he said even though he would never leave, he never sees himself being happy either. He also wants a family, and we don't know if I"ll be able to have kids at this time, and if we did have them it would probably have to be through artificially insemination...

I am going to the doc's office on monday and will talk to her about this, and my husband and I are planning on going through couseling, but has anyone else gone through something like this?

but he was so agitated and manic, he just made matters worse.  My son basically will not speak to his father.  He has no respect for him because he's mentally unbalanced and has never held a job for longer than three months in his life.  My son basically told his father in a fit of rage of the weekend that he hated him, wished I would have left his dad the day after he was born, and that his father had never taken care of him or been there for him his whole life.  Sad thing is, my son is absolutely right.  My ex never has done anything for either of us and that's why I'm not with him anymore.  I became my ex's caretaker and he became like another child to me. 

I've had my step-dad talk to my son because that's about the only man in my son's life that he respects.  I'm just not surrounded by a lot of good men, ya know?

worst has to be cross between the geico cavement and the idiots that order from sonic drive-in.  although the trophy wife is getting REALLY OLD...

I could have done without almost everything except maybe 15-20 minutes. 

Of course, there are zillions of commercials now with Christmas coming up.  I just had to tell you my favorite and see if you have one. This would be fun.  This week, there have been tons of diamond commercials on TV, Zales, etc.  There is one where the family comes down the stairs and somebody is sneaking a look in a present (it should be one of the kids).  All they show is the mom and a close up of her face being caught! Then they say something about diamonds etc.  I usually don't pay attention to commercials but I love that! She looks like a real mom, and I felt like that was what I would do, getting caught at sneaking a look. (Of course it would not be diamonds, but I'd still get caught even if it was a blender LOL).

playing sports with a friend.  After showering he comes downstairs naked and tries to start a conversation with me. My "office" is in the living room and he is standing in back of the couch so I can't see any private parts, just him without his shirt, but I can see enough to know he clearly is naked! I think he wants me to be amused or get turned on or something, but I'm not amused one bit. In fact, I keep working and basically ignore him.

Poor guy. I swear he thinks he's Vince Vaughn or something. I should at least smile at him but all I want to tell him is to put some clothes on! ugh!

How do ya feel about cats?  That's what I'd do...get a cat...but I love cats and love it when they bring me 'presents' of dead varmints. 

If that's not an option, and you're not comfortable with baiting, glue traps, or that sort of thing, it'd be worth it to hire a professional 'cridder ridder' or exterminator.  Those things will chew up your walls and floorboards like you have no idea and cause incredible amounts of damage.  Good luck in your jihad! 

I've done that along with changing my diet but still no relief.  I just received an e-mail saying to try vitamin E which is what I am going to try next.
