different parenting skills, I could never imagine treating my children that way. They are grown now, 24 and 25, and I still wouldn't treat them that way. I, for one, am humand and occasionally forget things, too. My husband is 47 and he forgets things, too. My children had to learn lessons when they were young but the lesson was never learned because of my cruelty to them. I have a wonderful, open relationship with my both my children (1 son, 1 daughter) and I am so thankful for that and it came from having open communication with them. No perfection at our house.. Just forgiving when they made mistakes and helping learn from those same mistakes.
