when I roll in the driveway I see my dog sitting there staring out, waiting, waiting, and (sm)
When he sees me he yawns and stretches, then puts on this act of being all bored and sits on his tail so I cannot see it wagging... like he was not eagerly waiting for me the whole time and seeing me is no big deal. Every single time. If I have someone with me I'll say, "watch what Walter does..." and he does this every time. Oh, by the way, don't feel bad for this guy for having to wait for me once in while, he has the life of a king.

What do you use to polish your solid-surface countertop?
We have a Corian-type (manmade, not granite or quartz) countertop and we have tried just about everything, including what the manufacturer recommends and even car polish. Our house is only a little over a year old, but the countertops are already starting to look a little scratched and dull.
I love the color - it is a deep brick red - but if I had it to do over again, I would get a lighter color. This dark color shows every little scratch.
Any suggestions?

that tests had been done on that and some other herbals and he finding was that it was not of any more help than placebo. You might try vitamin D for depression. Oddly it has been found to be helpful.

Well I'm certainly no dog expert
but don't blame the breed. You don't want people assuming that your pit bull is dangerous just because of his breed. They are poorly behaved dogs because they were not trained to behave. Just like bratty kids who aren't made to mind.
Not a tax expert here, but
my understanding is just that everybody under the capped income amount (75,000, I think) is paying less taxes on the money they earn, so, as an IC, your quarterly payments will be less than they previously would have been on the same amount of earned dollars (if you pay quarterly), whereas as an employee the amount of federal tax per paycheck is reduced and, thus, the paycheck is increased. I believe that those who are on disability also will get more, but do not have firsthand experience with this. I have heard that disability payments are taxed, so it stands to reason (in my mind, anyway) that these payments will also be increased (if they are taxed as they come to you, like with an employee) or the tax paid would be reduced (if taxes are paid quarterly or annually). Hope that makes sense.
Going on a cruise for the first time and wondering

Saw many private planes. People there said most people leave there during the winter and then come back in spring, since everything sort of closes down in the winter. Is that true?
I'm in Florida, so prospect of living there isn't an option, lol! It was beautiful when we visited, in the 40's and clear. Just like it is here for three days out of the year.

Nerve pain I think does better with heat. When I broke my foot and had nerve damage, I couldn't even touch my foot with ice. I haven't had a toothache in a long time (knock on wood), but my guess would be heat.

What works with mine is taking privileges or toys away. I let her know that her behavior is unacceptable and there are consequences. Have you told him that that dog will bite him if he does those things?
As far as Dr. Phil's serial killer list about children being cruel to animals, that may be 1 trait but not always true. My bro and I were very cruel to cats when we were little, throwing them up in the air, on dogs, in water and neither one of us grew up to be serial killers. I am not saying it is alright for him to be mean to an animal and yes he certainly does need to be corrected. Bro and I got caught doing that and got in big trouble more than once.
The only thing that kind of bothers me is this statement. " need some great advice to keep him and the dogs, mostly the dogs, safe from harm. I sure hope I am misinterpreting this but it seems like the dog's well-being rates higher than the child's. Could be the source of aggression perhaps? I do hope I am misinterpreting this.
Name calling won't keep your child from telling a fib. My child went through that. I do know you are probably frustrated and boy do I know how that can be. My children push my buttons as well. But they are kids. Most grow up to be decent human beings. good luck.
Cruise questions regarding elevator noise
I just received documentation for our upcoming cruise and was delighted to find out we have been upgraded to a suite. My only concern is they have placed us near the elevator. Is this going to noisy? Has anyone experienced this before? TIA

State Farm dropped my brother and I from my parents for speeding tickets when we were both 16. I went with Progressive. It was a higher premium, but at least I was insured, which is most important. In our state though, you lose your license for a DUI. It is a shame they dropped you as the parent.

One I was at a restaurant waiting
in line for a bathroo stall. Finally a lady came out of onel and I went inside. There was urine ALL OVER the seat. I was just livid. Okay lady, if you are too scared to sit down to pee because of the germs, then for crying out loud, WIPE UP YOUR PEE so it's not there for some total stranger to have to deal with. Or hold it until you get home.

where I am the local teaching hospital does not use them at all. So fresh crop each time. I have been thinking about it too. I am 42. I need to do 3 classes first to qualify for the program. It is full-time though 5 straight semesters and I would be done, though would probably go for the more advanced degree once I had the basic one, have to get that one first though. Money is also an issue, guess I would have to hope for a full scholarship as I have no money to go to school, and of course childcare during the summer would be the other issue. Just wish the program was not "accellerated" so I didn't have to do school in the summer. A job is basically guaranteed when done too, though I am sure you don't get to offered 9-5!
