you sent them the bill for $800, but obviously in that timeframe your insurance has paid it. What will you do with the $800? You are benefiting from it, not your daughter. You answer none of my questions, which leads me to think you're afraid of your own answers.
If I were these people, I would have offered to pay the hospital directly for the bill. I would also want to make sure that your insurance company was aware that the bill was paid out-of-pocket, so as not to have double payment. What you are suggesting is insurance fraud. Your insurance pays the bill and then you ask someone else to pay the bill. If I were these people, I would be quite upset at your shadiness. Just call it for what it is. It's all about the money.

Now if they are having a 'relationship' that is very different but that is not what you said. Apparently you are not big on forgiveness and real big on control and jealously.

How does this woman stay in business?? If it were me, I would go back there one more time, to make it clear that she would never see a dime of my money, and exactly why. Perhaps her attitude works in her country or culture, whatever it is, but if she wants to sell to Americans she needs a major attitude adjustment. IMO, the only people who would buy from her are a) masochists or b) arrogant insecure people like her.

Let me tell you what could happen. You said not cheating, did he confess the other time while cheating or afterwards? Probably not while it was going on. A mother should be happy with herself first. Why be miserable so the kids would be happy?? They will grow up, leave 1 day and then what do you have? Still unhappiness because you might allow him to stay but then again if he is saying not loving you anymore, I doubt very seriously he is planning on staying, probably trying to cushion the blow some. If the kids mother is not happy, your kids are probably going to know that and that can cause problems there.

I was just thinking while putting on the mineral stuff when MK would come out with something because I'm sure they are "losing" customers (I'm not saying all) to the mineral make up wearers.
Of course, I am concerned now for the content in the makeup since Purity states they don't use talc, oils, etc. That will be my ultimate deciding factor. Thank you for this info, though!

It most certainly can help a whole lot. Do you know how many people have no idea where pet store puppies come from. A whole whole bunch. If the word and pictures of this abuse is put out there by a mass publicity machine such as Oprah, hopefully the demand will go down and the supply will also. Oprah herself said she will never ever get another dog unless it is from the shelter herself and how this report has changed her views, so apparently she had no idea of this horrible industry too.

Part of their appeal is that it is cheap and I don't have to tip otherwise I might as well go to a regular restaurant. Forgiving the little girl "as a Catholic" (guilt-wielding psychobabble aside), is absolutely beside the point. This is a 6-year old who is obviously not yet acquainted with the concept of right versus wrong & who is having some pretty serious control issues. It is the parents' responsibility to make sure she gets a VERY clear lesson about this VERY soon, and the teacher's responsibility to enforce this in the classroom. "Second chance" indeed. It would be absolutely irresponsible to "give her a second chance" without first making absolutely certain she knows what she did, knows why it was wrong, feels remorse, will never do it again, and expresses all of the above to everyone involved.

She did something similar a short time ago but used egg noodles in place of the hashbrowns and added spinach and chicken. Not sure exactly the recipe but it sounds like basically the same thing. I remember it looked really yummy.

Sorry if its rent or school or groceries or school I would pick rent and groceries, otherwise I wouldn't get on a board and cry about not being able to pay my rent. I also know plenty of people on WC who may not be able to do the job they were doing but can do something...so give me a break. I've been broke and down and out and I didn't say there is nothing I can do, I went out and did something about it, even if it is working 2-3 jobs, which may not be my perfect life but it allows me to pay my bills, my family had a nice Christmas and I paid cash for it so I don't have to worry next month how I'm going to pay for it.

I am steamed!!! I went to a sex offender meeting and those scum bags can live anywhere! Even though, it says that they are not suposed to go into a tavern or lounge or be around a park, they plop them right next to a bar and a block from a park in our neighborhood! We have three level "3" sex offenders in a house that "they" say has eight other men there too. So you know they are ( level 1) sex offenders..I mean come on, what real man would live there with sex offenders?
SO they are more concerned about a child that might eat one to many french fries, but heck....let the sex offenders live next to a school or park, so they can watch the kids and know their patterns!

Annoup was not professional, Danny is ok but nope they don’t have half the talent she has. If that were the case, don’t you think they would have been a lot bigger now than she is? That's unreal. I would be interested to hear his explanation after your phone call. If you cancelled the appointment you should not have been billed, much less that amount. Good luck with that one!

It must be awful to spend that much time driving every day, and gas is so expensive right now. Just let him do it. It's only until spring, and it will make things so much easier on him.
When my son was 9 MONTHS old SM
we lived in South Carolina, and his daycare center asked me to sign a form giving them permission to spank him if he misbehaved. He was a BABY and they wanted to spank him! Holy Cow! I refused to sign it and took my son out of their daycare, but it was legal there (this was 14 years ago...not sure what the law is now). But I was shocked.
I'm not anti-spanking...I just think only a parent should be able to spank their child. Definitely not someone who doesn't love your child and who may be too heavy handed.

get like this. Whenever one is curled up sleeping, the other will slink over and rest their head on the other one. :)
my son will be 11 in a few months
and never had anything like this. He's very forgetful and seems to lack common sense the last year or so. He also likes to turn his back and put his head down when he doesn't like something but hsn't cried in a long time unless he's hurt.
It sounds to me like maybe other kids (or someone) is telling your son he is fat or maybe making fun of him with clothes and that's why he suddenly changes his mind about what's cool and what's not.
I know my son is really starting to look at the high school aged kids for direction on what to wear, haircuts, etc. The long hair, no shower, messy look. We have had a talk that we understand he is growing up and with that comes priviledges but also he can only "grow up" so fast and he's not 15 or 16 and will not be treated as such until then. We have also told him at his age it is our job as parent's to make sure he is clean, fed, gets good sleep and grades, has clothes, and a roof over his head...and with that means we will make sure he takes a shower and makes himself look presentable. Long hair is fine, messy-look is fine...but rolling out of bed and tossing wrinkled clothes on is not - until he's 18 and then he can do what he wants.
Maybe you could sit down and have a talk with your son and ask him about why he's so emotional and changes his mind a lot. Could also call the school guidance counselor (even anonymously) and ask if it is normal behavior or might be signaling something more going on. They are really the experts on behavior at that age and for some reason many kids will talk to them when they won't talk to their own parents.
I have been seeing one the last few months.
I was a skeptic for certain. My husband ended up in the hospital with back problems and all the doctors would do is prescribe him meds to alleviate the pain. He started going to a chiropractor looking for relieve. It took a while but they helped him tremendously. After that I decided to give it a shot. The past few months I have been going weekly because insurance would pay for a certain number of visits in a year. Now that the year is renewing I have told my chiro that I am cutting back to once a month, or as I feel I need it. I will continue to go just not regularly at 1-2 times a week. She saw nothing wrong with that.Like you I can definitely tell a difference with less stiffness, better range of motion, better sleep, etc.

From what I read on her post her husband probably is doing more harm to the child as it is now rather than good. He is a pot-head first of all, with anger and anxiety. This was going on before the father's death. A child picks up on what they see around them, well hello, guess what this child is watching probably on a daily basis?? I am the product of a divorce years and years ago and guess what, don't do pot nor any other kinds of drugs including alcohol, work each and every day, good citizen, never missed the fact my father not in the home every day, lucky me. This is so much rot when you have to worry about what will this do to the children!

But your dog is probably not gay. If one dog is 'mounting' the other, that's just normal dog behavior - dominance, playing, or 'practicing' if the dog is young.
Female dogs will do the same thing (mount another dog) with males or other females for the same reasons (dominance or in play). It doesn't mean they're gay.
Dogs sometimes even do this with stuffed animals or a person's leg. It has nothing to do with their sexual preference. It's just a normal dog thing. ;o)
BTW, spaying or neutering will curb the behavior (and has many other benefits as well).

Not all teachers are wonderful. Yes children should be at school on time BUT there are exceptions otherwise there would not be excused and unexcused tardies. For instance, I didn't hear my alarm is avoidable (unexcused) Mom had a flat bringing me to school that is unavoidable as fog would be so should be excused.
It sounds like she trying to be a nurturing supportive mom. It doesn’t matter whether the teacher has explained the assignment or not. It matters that her child did not understand those instructions and needed clarification. It also sounds like the teacher previously made the boy uncomfortable when he asked for clarification so he is now apprehensive of approaching her, in my opinion Mom acted appropriately by trying to contact the teacher and try open up the lines of communication and help her son to learn to problem solve. The teacher has made up her mind about the child and is clearly unwilling to communicate with the mom and has already started defending herself to others.
This is not the 1920's where parents blindly follow the teachers advice even if it is totally off base.
To the OP: RUN!!!! Do not walk remove your son from this obviously abusive teacher (yes intimidation is abuse in my book especially by a teacher to a 2nd grader NOT A TEENAGER) Any EDUCATOR that is already using the term effeminate in regards to a 2ND GRADER has problems and I would guess is homophobic. Your child deserves to be comfortable. This does not mean to yank your child from school every time they have a problem but this sounds more like the teacher has a problem and you do not need this attitude or this teacher to cause your son to believe there is something wrong with him which from what you have described is already happening. TAKE THE CHILD AWAY FROM THE PROBLEM. Then you can deal with the teacher and the school!!!!! If I can help at all or you need an ear email me.

Normally I try really hard not to be mean/negative; however, "put on a cap of friendship" for a moment or two. There is no telling what this wife has been through and may deserve to wear the "injured wife" hat. I know exactly where she is coming from. The kids and I spend most of our time in the back of the house when he is home in order to avoid this man who is not the person I married. Do you think that is fair for us? - heck no!!

I'm talking with this odd mother, taking a head count as to how many grubby little home-schooled children she has: Seven and one more on the way! Husband is there, unemployed, has a paper route. Subsidized housing, welfare, food stamps, and then he tells me the state just gave him a check for $900 to get his car fixed. Are you kidding me?!? Shut the Front Door!
Something about a hard, honest days' work just aint right. grrrrhhh....

I took my child's away at 3 months.
A friend of mine has a 3-year-old who still *needs* it. She HAS to give it up because she walks around with it in and you can't understand her when she talks. I think it is up to the mom to take it away.
