I actually have an appointment on the 18th of this month to see about that very thing.  I am so ready to get this done.  I've had problems with this since I was about 12 years old.  I actually posted a few weeks ago in regards to severe breast pain when I get my cycles.  I've had so many problems i.e. fibroids, cysts, endometriosis x2, myoectomy, cesarean section x2, severe bleeding and cramping as well as an ablation.  I would do it in a heartbeat.
