How many of you are orphans?

I don't care how old I get, I am an orphan.

I miss my parents so much.

I lost my dad Oct of 2004 and mom last year and it is so weird to not have them around. I used to have lunch with dad every Thursday and talk with them both on the phone every day. They were in their late 80s when they passed away and friends say to me "They are better off where they are" "they lived a long life you should be thankful" ARGGG!! That just irritates me to hear. When they say that it is obvious they have not lost a parent. Holidays, Birthdays, my childrens weddings or any other special occasion will never, ever be the same.

I don't know if you also feel like this but I would like to know. Could you share, please?
