How exciting! sm
Well wishes to you!  The tiredness is very, very normal!  Listen to your body and take care!  I often wondered with both of my pregnancies if it didn't have to do with the excitement of "we're having a BABY!"
Not very exciting, but...
I have a standing breakfast gathering every Thursday morning with 3 friends.  I also have Netflix, but buy DVDs that I know will be watched over and over.  And my whole family rents a house at the beach for a week every summer.  There are 11 of us and thankfully, it is a BIG house.
How exciting for you -- sm

I've been BFing since I was just a little kid.  My mom always drug me out an hour before the stores opened.

The ads usually come out in Thursday's paper (Thanksgiving Day).  In the past, I've forgotten this and bought the Wednesday paper only to be disappointed.  Get the paper and make a game plan.  Some stores open an hour or 2 later than others, so you may be able to get to both in time for the specials you're after.  Wal-Mart generally has a lot of specials, especially in the toys dept.  Our Wal-Mart gives you a map when you enter to tell you where each BF special is located in the store.  They put some stuff in strange places -- like TVs in the meat dept, computers in dairy, etc.  It's all wrapped, so you can't tell just by looking.  Ask the Wal-Mart greeter when you enter.  Our Wal-Mart is also open 24 hours, as are most, which means no waiting outside.  We usually arrive an hour before the sales start so we can be in "position" for the item.  Obviously, the most-sought after items are electronics, so be there early if you're looking for one of those.

Target is 1 of my favorite places because their specials run all weekend, not just until 11 a.m.  (I hope it's still that way this year).  They usually open an hour after Wal-Mart.  I usually head there second because even though the specials run all weekend, they do run out of stock.

Kohl's usually runs a special in addition to their BF ads, which gives you $10 Kohl's cash for every $50 you spend.  The cash can be redeemed usually starting the Sunday after Black Friday.

Don't forget that K-Mart has layaway.  If there's something there that you like, you can put it on layaway and go back later to pick it up.

General advise:  Wear comfortable shoes.  Be polite to others, but don't be a doormat.  If you got there first, it's yours.  Make sure you and DH have cell phones so you can communicate if you get separated.  Most importantly, HAVE FUN!!!!

Let us know how you make out afterwards.

Well, for ME it's exciting!
I get to keep my 2 month old granddaughter while mom goes back to teaching!!! Of course, I was a lot better at MT'ing and keeping a newborn when I was 20 years younger.... LOL
It truly is exciting at the Garden
Just wanted to add that when I was down on the floor the first day at breed judging I called my sister back home and she was amazed. She said, Oh my God, that sounds like so much fun! All around you could see people in seats, people standing, people all over the floor, cheering, etc. It is infectious in the best sense. The day goes by so quickly. Best In show has to be seen to be believed! They turn the lights way down and you can hear a pin drop. When the Golden Retriever went around I literally thought the place would come down. When the Dalmation, Boomer, one for nonsporting a woman about three seats from us shot up out of her seat and cheered. What fun, what a magical night to see over 20,000 people standing and cheering for man's best friend. I am so excited just talking about it. Thanks for your interest. As you see, I could go on and on. I have memories that will last forever! I tape it every year and have several years to watch.
seeing that first robin is so exciting!
It makes us hopeful! I'm near Philadelphia, and I've been seeing robins for about week, maybe two. I can't wait to get in the garden and start growing things.
Actually, something very exciting for Friday
YooHoo, banner day. I am supposed to receive my very first full retirement check then. I am sooooooooo excited.
Might be exciting now, but future will be grim. SM
I would suggest adding some excitement to your marriage. Try to find the guy your husband was, that turned you on to him. That is where your attention should be.

You cannot go back again and you are not an 8th grader, but are acting like one.
I agree - haven't been that exciting
to watch. Who knows, maybe they'll get better. I still love the show. Always makes me want to take dance lessons, though I know I'm a lost cause. :)
Now, receiving money is ALWAYS exciting!
Are you getting full retirement or taking partial benefits? Sounds like you get to slow down a bit on the MTing, and I'm sure you deserve it.

Are you planning on doing anything special with that first check that you worked so hard to earn?

CONGRATS :-)
What?! Wayne Newton not exciting? Surely you
xx
I've done it so many times -- most exciting thing

Wow, where do I start?  I left MI when I was 23, having heard San Diego was nice.  I loaded up the Chevy and headed West.  One of many, many adventures I've had.  I've driven back and forth relocating across this country too many times to count, taking my job with me where ever I go.  Atlanta, Chicago, LA, San Diego.  I've done it with cats, a baby, and a 30-year-old car -- everytime all by myself.  I have a CB radio to keep in touch with the truckers and they would always help me when I would break down, overheat, or need any sort of help.  There is nothing like seeing this great country of ours one slow mile at a time.  Colorado and Utah are by far the most beautiful, but treacherous because of the Rocky Mountains.

As far as moving to a city you don't know a whole lot about, you have to contact the Chamber of Commerce for any particular city for all sorts of information about their town --- also part of the adventure.  I always loved being a stranger in a strange land.

And fear, oh yes, but more bravery than anything.  I've always told people that pretend bravery is the same as the real thing, just fake it and you'll do fine.  If you're young and courageous, I say totally go for it!!

Any exciting plans for the upcoming holiday weekend? nm

She's out of luck....sm
You only are eligible for Medicare when you reach retirement age. Not your spouse... YOU! For Social Security, she can only get it when she reaches retirement age and the amount depends on how much she worked. Since she has only worked 3 months in her life she's not going to get anything. She doesn't get a check just because her husband gets one.

If her husband happens to die the she would receive his Social Security check until she reaches retirement age, then it is cut off, and if she remarries it would stop the second she got married. If he dies she does not get Medicare just because he had it.
I'm really luck
I love my neighbor and my neighorhood. In the summer there's always at least 15 children running around playing and all the "grown-ups" are out in the front yards just talking and we always have weekend parties and picnics. I don't know what I'd do if I had some of the neighbors that the posters have.
He should consider himself luck!
We are usually at 1-2 times a week at my house.  Sometimes more, sometimes less.  Very much depends on what time of the month it is for me because sometimes I want it more!  Guess my hormones are getting whacky?  Been married 25 years.
I wish you luck!
Its a difficult thing. I would have put up with it longer, although I also didn't know what else to try.
I had luck with 2 of them, and almost a 3

The first one loved to climb up my coat and sit on my shoulders. It took about a month to tame that one.

The second one was somewhat more feral. It took 2 months just to get him to trust us and another month to get him in the house. Every sound spooked him and he tried to jump through our glass sidelight when my husband came out of the bedroom one morning. Poor thing went and hid for part of the day. He did love being in the house, but also liked being outside to roam. I could never break either of them to not want to be outside.

The third one was quite old and we tried for over a year. He wouldn't let us get within 5 feet of him, but it was better than 100 feet. Sadly, we found him dead in the field shot by the jerk who hunts rabbits. The cat could not have been mistaken for a rabbit as he was a bright golden yellow/orange. I would have called the SPCA but we can't prove this jerk did it. We just know it because it wasn't the first time it happened.

Now we have another orange cat and a beautiful black and white long hair hanging around. The orange seems a bit more tame and we have gotten within 3 feet of him, but the black and white is too skittish. The hope of taming the orange is nil since we now have a dog that doesn't seem to like cats. I would get rid of the dog but he was DH's birthday present a few years back. LOL

Good luck to you
Sounds like you are very wise to ignore the co-workers insulting behavior and just ''keep on keepin on''. Good for you for not adding to the misery or joining in the gossip cliques! It's so hard to be in a unfriendly/hostile environment but you will prevail because you are working for something important--your family--not expensive lunches or parties. (Your post reminded me how nice to work at home.)
Will do! Good luck to you! nm

Good luck to you!
I'm sure it will look great. Be creative. They find the oddest things at junk yards, etc.
Good luck!
Sounds like you are trying to make some good positive changes in your lifestyle as well. We all wish you the best. Thanks for sharing your experiences with those of us who are curious about Alli.
Good luck to ya! :) nm

Good Luck
Good luck to your daughter!
Good luck!

Good luck

Back around Christmas we started our new lifestyle, no partially hydrogenated anything, no high fructose corn syrup.  More veggies and organic everything that we can afford.  The difference it makes is truly incredible.  We have been telling everyone we know about it.  Next on our list to get rid of:  MSG.

I think you are going to be so impressed with how you feel in a couple of weeks, you will just not believe it.

Good luck and keep us posted.

Good luck!! What are you doing to keep from
reaching for a cigarette?
Good luck to you (sm)
I'll be praying for you and everyone over there.  My son is in the Marines at Camp Pendleton and from his porch in Temecula he can see the smoke but assures me the fire is moving away from him.  He's signed up on their roster to help fight the fires when they call them to.  Here on the east coast we're praying for rain and we'll pray you get some too.
Good luck!
Hopefully they will drop her suspension.
Luck you! Getting to live over there for a bit!

I envy people who get to travel all over the world (or heck, even this country!) and stuff.  All the sights, sounds, smells, tastes....too cool for school!

That's cool that treacle actually exists....I only ever heard it mentioned in Harry Potter before as 'treacle fudge.'  Of course...who woulda ever thunk they'd make those nasty Bertie Botts Every Flavor Beans either?!  Booger and vomit flavored beans...that's just nasty!

Sounds like you have my luck....
It seems like I always find something that I want that is a set and cannot find the whole set! I'm sure the plates will turn up soon, especially on replacements, ltd. You may even be able to email them and get notified when they get them.
Good luck to you. (sm)
It is always nice to hear when someone finally finds relief with medication.  I am sure it is very distressing to live with fibromyalgia and waiting to find something that works.  Good for you.  I am going to mention this to my brother, another fibromyalgia sufferer.
good luck -

double sided sticky tape - my cat pulls it off and eats it.

squirt bottle of water - of course if you will have to be watching them 24/7 - cats do not respond to behavioral conditioning like dogs do.

plastic covers for furniture - so what was the point of getting new furniture?

aluminum foil - another good look for your new furniture.

scratching posts placed strategically - and they're not smart enough to realize this game.

they make covers for claws that you can order - don't know much about them - but they stick on each individual claw somehow.

Thanks and good luck
I was in that same boat too until recently.
Good Luck!!...nm

With my luck you want me to buy a METAL SM
back scratcher?  I can almost quote the time the bolt of lightening will come through the window during a storm and take me out!  LOL!!!   If it's all the same to you, I'll stick to the wooden variety!!
Best of luck to your brother...sm
I am glad he is getting this checked out and that they moved the stress test up.  The sooner they figure out what's going on, the sooner he can treat it and at least get that stress out of the way.  Let us know how things go.
Great luck!
My brother is going to keep the dogs for her! He's in Texas and she is in Georgia so she will probably drive to Texas. Everything seems to be working out. Thanks for all of the suggestions!
Good luck is all I can say......
We don't have an ASPCA type set up here either but do have animal control, which is a joke. All they do is pick up a stray dog now and then and road kill; otherwise, they don't do their job. My mother has watched neighbors get one dog after the other, the puppies are leashed and literally die before her eyes of parvo. She repeatedly calls animal control, which are the police, and they don't do a thing. The dogs eventually die a miserable death and nothing is done to the owners at all. My brother finally flat out told one of her neighbors he would take a little mommy dog who had already had puppies after puppies and was starving to death. In 110 degree heat she doesn't even get water except from him who sneaks her some. They handed her over but she was already ate up with heartworms and died shortly thereafter. Our animal control is a joke...they won't even go into the yard to check out the animals. They say they can't.....so what the heck are they there for?

I just hope yours runs things better than ours...find out the laws in your state and be prepared to push those laws if you see nothing is being done.

Good luck!!!!!
I wish you luck. I'm too tired to do

the second or third job anymore, or else I would try again. I did it for 20 years. but I'm burned out. I'm no spring chicken and will be celebrating another year older on Monday which also doesn't make me happy, but time does not stop.

Hubby is retiring next year and I'm really trying to stop him as it means only $1400 a month coming in for him...of course, he has no bills, while I have all of 'em.  My reitrement bennies are only $700 a month because they deducted SS from me when I first went IC and didn't have to pay taxes because I was at a loss those first years. It's a ripoff. I had gone from $800 a month in the ྌs to $200 a month 3 years later. Now I'm back up to the above amount after 10 years. What a ripoff!

I hope you're a lot younger than I am and can get yourself out of debt before you are like me. I wish you the best.

I think you're out of luck as far as the SM

money if he's not answering.  As for the part you wrote about police/fire having so much integrity, I'm glad you have people of good character in your family, but really I have never ever known a cop or a fireman who was trustworthy.

In the future, I don't care who the person is, how well you know them or whatever.  If you lend money, get it in writing OR never expect to see it again.

Congrats!! Good luck to all of you!

Good luck and just have fun. Why nervous?
Because he's a doctor or just because it's a first date?
Good luck with your furkid....I have one

that I am trying to put on a diet...boy, is he mad! He must weigh almost 20 pounds.

...sorry! Good Luck to you whatever path you
s
Now I see - glad you had good luck with it all then. nm

Good luck to you tomorrow.
My Hubby had it several years ago, but back when they did the open kind. The first week was the worst for him, but, remember, that was open, so you should do fine. Just remember to take everything they tell you. Just a note: He lost well over 200 pounds and has kept almost all of it off now about 4-1/2 years later...so enjoy your new look!!!
Good luck with getting it overturned :)
Where did you find something like that? I would really like to get this and just wondered where one can buy this? My dad gave me a flashlight with pepper spray on one side, but it's rather big and I'd like to have something small and inconspicuous.

Anyway, good luck with the meeting and let us know what happens. Obviously, if this isn't on their list of weapons, then she shouldn't be suspended over it, and everyone should just chalk it up to a lesson learned.
What a nice guy! Good luck,

nm

I don't believe in the good/bad luck stuff with these but
I do forward those that have cute pictures or good jokes.  I usually edit the email though and take out the "send this to...." part or if I don't I let my friends know I am only sending it for a good laugh, and not to send it back to me, etc.
gotcha. Good luck!
