First of all it was none of the teachers business for why she was not in PE and especially not in front of the whole class. She is way too young to experience tampons yet. I am sure they have to have other things to do in PE that she can participate in. My school never had swimming when growing up and my kids do not have swimming. There is a big difference for a 12-14 year old getting their first period compared to an 18 year old having her period. BIG DIFFERENCE!
