I believe you can get it in most drug stores, health food stores, and on line. check on line, as you may find a better quality at a cheaper price. It works well.

Thanks!!!
Just like a potato chip, can't pick just one!

300, Forest Gump, Bram Stokers Dracula, 50 First Dates.

Those are probably my top ones that I never get sick of watching. I have a pretty huge movie collection and pretty much only buy ones that I really love though.  I'm a fan of most all types of movies.

Chocolate chip cookies! Who needs anything else? -nm

Easy Fudge
Ingredients
3 cups (18 ounces) semi-sweet chocolate chips (or milk-chocolate chips)
1 (14-ounce) can EAGLE BRAND® Sweetened Condensed Milk (NOT evaporated milk)
Dash salt
1/2 to 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Instructions
In heavy saucepan, over low heat, melt chocolate chips with EAGLE BRAND® and salt. Remove from heat; stir in nuts (optional) and vanilla. Spread evenly into wax paper lined 8- or 9-inch square pan.
Chill 2 hours or until firm. Turn fudge onto cutting board, peel off paper and cut into squares. Store leftovers covered in refrigerator.

Notes: OTHER GREAT FUDGE FLAVORS: Chocolate Peanut Butter Chip Glazed Fudge: Proceed as above but stir in 3/4 cup peanut butter chips in place of nuts. Glaze: Melt 1/2 cup peanut butter chips with 1/2 cup whipping cream; stir until thick and smooth. Spread over chilled fudge.

Marshmallow Fudge: Proceed as above but omit nuts and add 2 tablespoons butter to mixture; fold in 2 cups miniature marshmallows.

Thanks for all the good recipes.  My mother used to be the "queen of candy making" until she got Alzheimer's but I never wrote down her recipes if she ever had one; and of course could not remember how she made it or the variations - she just "winged it" and I stirred it because she had severe arthritis in her hands.  Thanks for sharing!
**Click here for MammaMT's picture of Chip!**

Don't freak out on me MammaMT but I did a sneaky and just "right clicked" on the red X there, which told me the link to Chip's picture off photobucket, copied that picture to my machine, cropped it and resized it, and put it on my website temporarily to display it here.  Whew!  Hope that made sense!

He sure is a cute little fella!  A heart melter for sure!

Wow! Just got an email from SIL asking if we want to chip in on MILs b-day dinner
How unusual. She sent it to my DH's email address, as well, so I deleted it and left it for him to answer. She did say in her email, though, that she and the others had talked about it and planned the dinner already -- chose the restaurant, time and menu. Now that they've made all the decisions, we're invited to go, four days from now. So, sounds like we're an afterthought again. I guess one of them must have realized that their mother might miss one of her sons if he didn't show up to dinner.
I have OD'd on peanut butter fudge
I don't know why I do this every year. I just went downstairs for a drink and loaded up on smoked ham with a peanut butter fudge chaser.  A moment on the lips, forever on the hips...
AW he is soooo cute. We just adopted Chip last week - sm

He is what the shelter called a beagle mix, but if he is mixed with anything I will eat my hat... Okay I do not have a hat, but I would be surprised...LOL.

Here is a pic of him..

I hope your transition is as easy as ours was.  We have 2 other rescue doggies, both lab mixes and female and the three of them were fast friends.  Of course we have no diningroom left with 3 creats in it, but who cares...

and of course can't forget my daughter eating green beans with ketchup (they are like French fries mom!)
Peanut butter fudge recipe
When I was little my mom used to make the world's best peanut butter fudge.  She used brown sugar in it.  There was a quickie fudge recipe in the Mrs Clause cookbook that called for just chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk, was thinking about trying something with that.  Does anybody have a good brown sugar peanut butter fudge recipe?
Frosting fudge from a few days ago is awesome sm

I made 4 different kinds, and they all turned out incredibly good. Here's the combos I used -

Caramel frosting (which I think is something new) + butterscotch chips + half a bag of Heath toffee pieces

Regular chocolate frosting + Hershey's Special Dark chocolate chips + 1 cup chopped walnuts

Milk chocolate frosting + Andes mint chocolate pieces

Coconut pecan frosting + milk chocolate chips

All of them are made the same - microwave the frosting in a bowl for about 90 seconds. It will be bubbly. Stir in chips & nuts/toffee/etc. Pour into lightly greased 8x8 pan. Cool, cut, & eat.

The coconut pecan one tastes like German chocolate candy, and the caramel/butterscotch/toffee one was the biggest hit of the party last night.

How to make chocolate chip cookes flat and chewy
Does anyone know how to make a chocolate chip cookie that are flat and chewy.  Mine have been coming out thicker, but they go hard fast too.  DH told me I used to make them flatter and chewier, but I don't remember switching recipes (I use the recipe on the back of the chocolate chips).
Chocolate cream pie, whipped cream & chocolate shavings on it!
PLUS:

Chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream.

Pumpkin pie with a 2:1 ratio of whipped cream to pie.

A root beer float.

Chocolate chip cookies, or else soft, iced molasses ones - warm from the oven, of course!

And for dessert, a few chocolate Easter bunnies and a dark chocolate Hershey bar with almonds.
Hardboiled eggs, jello, fudge, merangue, the list is endless!

TLR- ice cream treat

And by the way thanks to some of the ones that don't mind reading them!!

I decided to take a much deserved break a lot earlier than usual from the craziness going on today and plus it was so beautiful out I couldn't sit any longer.  Cupid and I went to Bruesters Ice Cream for a treat. He was sooo excited he ran up to the stand!!  I think he knew something special was waiting there for him!  It was the first time we went to there so he didn't know what was there yet.  The first thing the girl asked me was if I wanted a doggie dish.  When he got it, there was a little dog biscuit stuck in the icecream.  It was so cute.  I hope your having a good evening, later.

Benadryl cream
Apply to your earlobes front and back, put in the earrings and don't touch the rest of the day! Really works, even if you have to wear the nickel earrings from time to time.
No, but on progesterone cream. sm
Just finished book "What Your Doctor May Not Tell You About Menopause" by John R. Lee and Virginia Hopkins. Their web site explains and outlines various menopause symptoms and then tells you what would work best for those symptoms, estrogen or progesterone. I am using the progesterone cream, which I got from a list of progesterone creams from his website.

The first thing I note is that I am sleeping better. I have less hot flashes and just feel better overall. I also take a vitamin that helps hormonal issues.

It's a process. One has to figure out what their body needs and do their best to supplement it. I tried not to do anything for a while, but my hormones are going crazy and it affects my mood and well being. I wish I were symptom-free as most of my friends, but that is not the case for me.

I don't want HRT so this is the next best thing for me.

Anyone had Bruster's ice cream??. We tried..
yesterday and were expecting a really great treat....they say it's "real" ice cream.  Very disappointed.  I've had real ice cream and this was not as I remember it.  Breyer's from the grocery store is better.       And the waffle cones fell apart as we were eating it.
can anyone recommend a progesterone cream?
i believe i am menopausal now -- but having these hot flashes and have been told by a couple people that these creams help.  But there are so many on the market...any pros/cons to the natural vs synthetic progesterones you can tell me -- any particular one that you really like?  thanks!
try this - whipping cream potatoes
One bag frozen shredded potatoes

1 pint whipping cream.

about 1 1/2 t. salt.

Dump potatoes in casserole. Mix with salt. Pour whipping cream overtop and bake for 60 minutes at 350 degrees.

OMG, fried cream corn?!!??
That stuff sounds like it should be from the "Coronary Cookbook."
You'd have loved the ice cream truck
that used to play Christmas tunes all summer. I take it he's not from around here, LOL.

He finally changed the tune - to LA Cucaracha! I take it he doesn't speak Spanish if he thinks that song is going to sell ice cream! Ha!
LOL - that is gross I would not have bought ice cream from him

Ice cream with any kinds of nuts in it
Black walnut, butter pecan, chocolate almond. My mouth is watering.
And what I do is add a can of Cream of Chicken about an hour before sm
serving to give you a good, thick gravy - it combines the juices of the turkey plus the good taste of the soup. No one can ever tell how I got the gravy so thick and tasty (over home-made mashed potatoes) but the trick is that instead of flour or corn starch!
Just lotion or cold cream or something like that (sm)
I would be afraid the baking soda would be too abrasive and he'd have mark from that. If you get most of it off tonight and the rest in the morning it shouldn't be that hard to get off.
Wrinkle cream that actually works?

My mom is turning 51 this year and she has said she would like a wrinkle cream that actually works.

Does anyone have any experience or heard good things about a wrinkle cream.  She has tried IQ Derma and I think likes it okay, but hasn't seen too much results.  Obviously she's not looking for a miracle, but doesn't want Botox or anything crazy.  also, there are so many out there that claim to "reduce fine lines" is it possible to do that really without any kind of surgery?

Thanks for any help or recommendation!

cream cheese spread
Take a couple of blocks of cream cheese and soften by mashing them up:

Season to taste with Greek Seasoning Salt. Add a little bit of chopped green onion and chopped black olives. Serve on plain crackers.

Fluff/marshmallow cream
I grew up on Fluff - LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the stuff. We have marshmallow cream out here but not fluff, and the marshallow cream here is heavy and thick. Fluff is light and airy. Anyway...growing up we always used the receipe on the fluff jar. All I remember was using Fluff, chocolate chips and i think some butter (but its' been over 30 years since I've made it). All I know it was very very easy.
Try the cream of mushroom soup......sm
in the mac and cheese and stir in a can of tuna. Very yummy! I haven't tried the chicken or celery cream soups but they sound good, too.
My doc prescribed Elocon cream

for my dyshidrotic eczema, which really helps alleviate the itching.  I first developed it when I was about to graduate college - a very stressful time - and I had it on both my hands and feet.  The itching was very intense.  I don't really get outbreaks anymore unless I use products that contain tocopheryl acetate - which is vitamin E - and most lotions have that.  I can only use Curel original formula.   Hopefully you can find what triggers yours and get some relief.

Got an cheese and cream of whatever soup
when you first said rice I was thinking white, but this may work anyway.

A few of us posted not too long ago that we have similar recipes with slight variations for a mac and cheese/tuna recipe -- simple, you just make the boxed macaroni and cheese as usual and add the cream of (I use chicken, could be celery, mushroom, whatever) and flake the tuna with a fork and add . . . could work with rice also, you just wouldn't have that lovely powdered cheese mix and would have to make your own cheese sauce.

I have also made tuna patties before with canned tuna (like salmon patties). I like the salmon patties better, but the tuna patties were certainly edible (anything fried is pretty much edible, right?), and have the rice as a side dish.
Add a can of cream of mushroom soup.......... sm
to that tuna mac and you'll think you've died and gone to heaven!
sour cream works
...
oooh oooh oooh and hot fudge too, no calories yeah...

Had the same thing happen with face cream
I just happened to open the box before I got to the register.  Instead of Neutogena, someone had swapped with Suave.  If the packages open easily, I always check the contents.  I love/hate that store.  Last weekend I got a whole buggy full of groceries and there are only 2 lanes open out of 20.  The only others were self checkout.  I had to bag my items and place them on the floor because my buggy is full and there is no place to pull the items out of the buggy until you scan them.  I let loose on the asst. manager that was standing nearby and she said they just couldn't get any help.  I said well, maybe if you paid more, but then wait! they probably make more than I do as a MT anyway!
I need some heavy duty face cream...
…I have some areas on my face that are extremely dry, around my hair line, around my nose and I have used several creams trying to soften these areas up. Sometimes I even flake on my eyelids like I have sunburn and I use dandruff shampoo on my eyebrows because if not they will flake- no dandruff in the hair, though. I know this sounds awful but this is getting on my last nerve. I have put petroleum jelly on my face overnight- still dry in these patches. Does anyone else have something like this and if so any remedies? Thanks
