37 y/o and I still have long thick blond hair to my bottom! sm
I have had long hair my entire life...and will probably keep it that way for many, many years to come. I used to be a very blond when I was young, but the older I get the darker it gets....so I do a nice color on it to keep it blond. I have a 13y/o daughter and we are looking more like sisters than mother/daughter..but I am not trying for that at all. I jut love my hair and dont care who else does or does not.
I have long, thick, curly hair and so does my daughter...we use Cowboy Magic..sm
You can find it where horse products are found!! It can be used on horse manes or on human hair. I believe they have a website to, but I have always bought it at our local TSC store. This stuff is awesome!!! It can be used on wet or dry hair. You put about a quarter size amount in the palm of your hand and then rub it through your hair. I use a bit more on my daughter, as she is much more tangled than I get. Her hair always looks so shiney and healthy.. and smells great too!! Give this a try, it should help greatly!
Holy smokes Cat! That is just terrifying!
I have had nightmares about tornadoes since I was a kid but never ever saw one except on TV or in movies. They just scare the fecal matter right out of me! They are the main reason I won't ever leave New England. How you folks do it without going nutty is beyond me. Please be safe out there!
Holy smokes!!!! Have you seen the new and improved Susan Boyle????
I almost fell off my chair in the difference.

Long hair....
I am 35 years old and have very long curly hair. My mother-in-law thinks I am going to have to cut it soon. (This is coming from the lady who goes to the hairdresser and asks for the Moe!) She says people over 40 look silly with long hair. I think she is nuts. I will keep my hair no matter what my age. Do what you want and don't let a few old hags make you feel bad!
I used it a million yrs ago when I had very long hair. It

I hate that my hair is long
I'm 45 and my hair has gotten very long, down past my shoulder blades. I've been growing it for two years for Locks of Love. I've always wanted to donate to Locks of Love, but I've had my hair no longer than shoulder length for over 20 years. Since they want undyed hair, I know that time is running out for me! At 45, I'm beginning to find gray hairs now and then. Yes, I know that's great to not have had gray hair until now! I think that if I can hold off until Christmas or so, it will be long enough to cut and donate. But, I do not like having it long in the heat. It's very thick, so it takes forever to dry, and well, at my age, long, straight hanging hair on a pudgy woman with wrinkles just looks silly. :)
I will be 46 next week and have very long hair...sm
I am fat and don't think I look silly with long hair. I also color it red. I did the donating thing 3 years ago and cut my hair short and really missed my long hair, started growing it out within a month after donating it. I live in Texas, so it gets hot, but when it is too hot to keep the hair down I use clips or ponytail holders, no biggy. I do need to get a trim though, as I figured out the other day I have not cut my hair since last December, so it really could use some trimming up. I will probably keep my hair long until I have a reason not to, but long hair is definitely not for everyone, as it can be quite the hassle at times.
love my long hair
I'm approaching 50 and my hair is waist length. Like Patti, I don't look or act my age and people are surprised when they learn my age.
I will, however, never forget being in New Orleans and sitting at a bar next to a man who was a hair stylist who told me I was too old to wear my hair that long. He thought I should cut it to just at my shoulders, and honestly, it probably looks better that way...BUT, I love my long hair, and he was an admitted "tri-sexual" (when I asked what that was, he said he would try anything!!!) lol!
I've always kept my hair long..sm
You can do some very chic styling with french braids, cingons, up-dos, french twists when you need to.
Since it grows so quickly, I've been able to donate to locks of love a coupla times...Right now after a shearing it's just below my shoulder blades....
All of us have bad hair days, but some folks have no hair days. Please consider donation if you are so inclined. Cat
Since your hair isn't really long, 60 is ridiculous. I stopped sm
paying my hairdresser because I didn't like paying 45 and my hair is pretty long and I like to keep it layered and styled and colored right, too. There are way too many good stylists out there who charge way less, even in the big cities, and I wouldn't waste my time there. Move on. They are ripping people off.
I'm all about stylists and people in the service industry making a living, but 50.00 for the half would even be better than that.
I don't have a problem with long hair on boys
but I do have a problem with not keeping it nice. There are a lot of men and boys with long hair that looks good. His is all stringy and icky looking. My son has a longer hair style and thinking about going longer with it but we have had the talk about still looking nice and having some sort of style to it. The minute he doesn't, it goes. Kinda like wearing dirty clothes out of the laundry basket. Sure every kid wants to do it and you have to piok your battles but mine isn't going to walk out of the house looking like no one cares enough to make sure he is a clean, well taken care of, and well fed boy.
OMG - HE SMOKES?????
I'm sorry to sound so sarcastic, but you cannot choose your daughter's life partners. She may be one that does not choose to get married. She needs to be her own person and make her own mistakes. I would focus more on safe sex as opposed to no sex at this point as you do not want to alienate yourself from her life. She will rebel. You sound very controlling. I would loosen your hold on her or you could lose her forever.
Big deal he smokes. I would rather have my daughter sm
date a smoker than a loser! Pestering won't help. Just buy her condoms and get her on the pill. Her getting pregnant would be much easier than her getting HIV. Good luck. Trust that you have raised her to be logical in her thinking. She will come around and dump the loser.
All I can pinpoint is that my son smokes and maybe a vet/tech smoked??? nm

what about the mom that smokes weed with her 2 year old left on the counter
that could fall off, grab a knife, who KNOWS. just so she could "FEEL GOOD".
this is a ridiculous argument. should it be illegal? who knows who cares, i look at it like anything else that alters your mentation, including alcohol.
both can turn out to be bad BAD decisions
do i personally care if you smoke pot once in awhile, no i dont but that's like assuming EVERYONE is doing it responsibly.
that's a joke
Thick socks. I have the same problem.
thick. Roses or daisies?

Put on some thick skin....my gosh,
everyone is so touchy here lately....my opinion is allowed and it does not have to agree with yours! We still can have our own opinions in this country, can't we?
Thick family bond or not, - sm
My child would be yanked out of that very strange and potentially harmful situation so fast it would make your head spin! Children certainly do not need to spend their time worrying about death and being subjected to this weirdness. If it costs your marriage to get your son into a better situation (i.e., camp like someone suggested) then it was not much of a marriage to begin with. Your first obligation is to your child.
Holy Cow! Thanks for posting.
OMG Cat that scares the Holy Cr*p out of me when
I was back in Arkansas one year, I slept through one! The next day they took me out to tour the damage. Holy Moly!
Buy one of those thick doormats. My cats love SM
to put their claws in that. It is an outdoor mat, but we have it inside. You have to give your cats something they like more than furniture. If you have anything wicker, put that on floor level for them.
You could go and have vet cut the claws some, but they grow back fast.
make it thick - sounds good

Dancing Thick crust or thin
!
Especially when the person you are taking to is about as thick as a sapling. - sm
I have started my own little dieting regimen and it's working so far.
Just eating healthier and being a lot more careful about what goes in my mouth. I'm also trying to add a little more activity every day. I'm pretty sedentary and even just adding a five minute walk around the yard is enough to get my blood moving for now.
I have lost 17.5-pounds so far and going for another 35-pounds by the end of summer.
Good luck to you.
Holy bat guano Batman!! LOL nm

14, holy crow, what a testament to the
love and care you give him, most boxers don't get to that age!
Holy cow, how much money do you make? - sm
We pay maybe $6K a year on ours, $60K whew, you must make a ton of cash, or your husband does. Amazing. Our house will be paid off in 3.5 years on a 15 year mortgage.
Holy Moly N/T last - for N/T Fans
I can't even print what I thought about Christian in this episode. Matt and Sean went a little crazy and that doesn't even include the (half sister thing). The N/T characters have gone crazy this season. LOL. What's wrong with Julia, confronting Eden alone? Next week is the season finale. Should be interesting.
Holy crap woman!
You have some big babies!! Noah 3 weeks early and still weighed 9 lbs 14 oz? Someone needs to put you up for sainthood. I bet you had a few choice words during labor.
Mine has some slight curl but not real thick. nm

what's a hot brown?
sorry to be so uninformed! I'm betting it's a sausage. Sure does sound good, my mouth is watering! but I think it might give me heartburn too! :)
I am in a biracial marriage, not thick skinned, live in the deep south, have
a mixed daughter who is 32 years old and she told me going to school she had the best of both worlds. Live in a very nice mixed neighborhood, just don’t know where this person lives who has to be thick skinned. Has never happened to me.
If you think you have a brown recluse
bite, I would suggest going to the ER as soon as possible. Untreated, the bite could fester and cause neuropathy. The daughter of a friend of mine was bit, waited, and infection took place. She has a very bad adverse reaction - she is now on disability. This has been 2 years ago. Better to be safe.
Encyclopedia Brown
There was always some sort of crime or mystery to solve, and at the back of the book, you would find out how Encyclopedia Brown solved it. Also loved Nancy Drew books and Judy Blume.

Alton Brown's website
Check Alton Brown's website for recipes. I am a pretty good cook and make Christmas cookies for all of our neighbors and friends every year. Cookies or not, if there is something that I just can't seem to pull off I go to Alton Brown. I have not found a recipe of his that hasn't worked for me yet. It took me 15 years to make a pie crust but I was only able to do it well with Alton Brown's recipe.
I know he also has some recipes where you can make 1 dough and then divide it to make 4 different cookies. I think his black-and-white cookie is that way. Also, marshmellows are not difficult to make but they are so impressive and everyone loves them! It's a little messy with all the powdered sugar but the kids LOVE to make them. Its minimal ingredients and its like a science project when it grows in the mixer. You can also get extracts and make mint marshmellows, strawberry, whatever you want. They go great with hot chocolate. Actually I think this year we are only doing those and sugar cookies because everyone loved them so much the last few years. and maybe some fudge, to give me an excuse to make it. lol
Depends if it is long with pregnant pause um no. If it is long and juicy like an op YEP! Short ones

Brown/Goldman families at odds now
it has been all over the news- Goldman wants the money, Brown family speaking out saying should not get, I think they consider it blood money. Never would have thunk that 1- huh, seemed so buddy-buddy at 1 time and now on the outs.
Alton Brown's "The Chewy"
I've tried all of the chewy chocolate chip recipes out there, and this is the best by far. The recipe calls for giant cookies, but for Christmas, I make them mini-sized, using about 1 heaping teaspoon of dough per cookie. They bake faster, so watch them carefully. I also add pecans to the recipe. I've made them with bittersweet chocolate chips and macadamia nuts, too, and those were INCREDIBLE.
Be sure, however, to really take your time creaming the butter and sugars. And let the melted butter cool to room temperature before mixing with the sugar. The creamed butter and sugar should be thick and fluffy and smooth, almost but not quite peanut butter consistency. If it's not, the cookies will go flop when they come out of the oven, and they don't look as pretty. They still taste great, but they aren't high and pretty.
I can't get the link to post, so here's the URL: http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/alton-brown/the-chewy-recipe/index.html
Chris Brown charged with 2 felonies
He should get some time for the beating. Once a beater.......
Try Alton Brown's suggestion for the amount of
grounds to use. As he points out, you can always dilute. Here is the article:
