I'd present the phone bill and ask him point blank, not in an angry tone or anything, just matter of factly..."Dude, is this you or do you think someone is messing with us here?" And just see what he says. If he admits to it, great. If he says it's someone messing with the cell number, take his word for it, but at least he knows that you know.
...then jump all over him, but not in the way your thinking, more of in the way I'd be thinking, because it's obviously what he needs to have done to him anyway. Well, unless he's a dinkus who you don't love and treats you bad, then I'd be makin a call to an attorney.
Let us know how it goes! Some of these quandries people post about are so open ended and leaves us hangin!
