When I was in "junior high" I was in an 8 and then my foot just grew. At that time there were no "wide" shoes so show shopping always ended in tears. My 14yr old daughter and I can wear the same size. (She may grow, but my daughter has stopped growing) Don't panic, there are so many wonderful shoes in larger sizes. I peeked at size 10 (some shoes have to go with 11) but my DD has never had a problem finding shows that are in style. Best bet, discount stores like "Payless" "Shoe Department" and "Shoe Show". Good Luck! To me "Everything is about shoes" LOL but trust me, there are many options. Good luck!
