it is a devastating loss and it takes time to heal. When I lost my dog, it felt as though my world ended. But times does heal the hurt you are going through. Remember the good times (even the bad) and the years you had with him. I found that I needed to grieve on my own terms as people can be very uncaring in the death of a pet because either they are not an animal lover or they are just ignorant as to what our buddies mean to us. I've had my cat for 15 years and he is not in the best of health but I treasure every minute I have left with him. Take your time and my thoughts are with you!
