Mississippi. We rarely have snow so I can't relate, but I think the snow is beautiful though. I tell ya, a couple of years ago my husband and I went to upstate New York during March or April, not sure now which. I froze to death. I seen enough snow to get my fill. It was a bitter cold too. I am not used to that. A cold front had come through so I don't know if it normally snows there that late in the year or not.

Where in lower NY?
I'm in Upstate NY and it's in the mid-70's here. I think this morning the low was in the high 50's. Brrr to you.
That is way down in lower manhattan
If you are going to South St. Seaport and are staying in Midtown, you might want to plan other things in that area while you are there. If you like Latin food, there is a restaurant called Cabana at South Street Seaport. Reasonable for lunch but expensive for dinner. It is on second floor and overlooks harbor. Also the downtown alliance has a free shuttle that takes you around lower manhattan. you get on and off at various points. http://www.downtownny.com/gettingaround/?sid=19
That way you can do Staten Island Ferry, ground zero, Brooklyn bridge, etc., and not get lost walking around in lower manhattan. It is not laid out like a grid down there and gets very confusing.
My daughter plans on going to college in NYC so we go often. Have a great time. Don't be afraid of the subway. It is a great experience. Going back to NYC in August. Cannot wait.

I have one on the right side of my lower
abdomen, only see it in swimsuit. Really wanted one on the back of my shoulder, but decided not to get one that would show when I was "dressed up." My ex told me I could NEVER have one, so when we divorced that is the first thing I did!!!!
Lower it - 21 is too high
1. Three years is not a huge difference.
2. Most kids are drinking earlier than 21 anyway and nobody is enforcing the law when they get caught drinking under age.
3. It was 18 when I was 18 and there was not a high incidence of drunk driving or whatever reason they have for a drinking age.
4. Germany there is no drinking age and they do not have a high rate of drunk drivers (they have one of the lowest rates of any country).
5. If they are not going to lower the drinking age they should then raise the age of joining the military. Someone tell me that it makes sense that they can't drink til their 21, but at 18 years old in the military they are given guns and can use them.
Some kids will be responsible and some kids won't. I know a lot of people who are in their 20s and 30s and older who are very irresponsible when it comes to drinking - btw, I am 48 years old, not 18, 19, or 20 (and just want the age lowered) :-)
Your lower teeth
in the front ... have your gums eroded in back of the teeth as well? Mine look fairly normal in front of the teeth, but behind them (especially bottom front teeth), I can see the gums are quite receded. I have one of those little dental mirrors. I am wondering why they would be worse in the back, as I think I brush the same way there.
If the houses around you are crap, your value will also be lower than it should be.

If you suffer from lower back pain
or arthritis like me, you may want to try the SALONPAS pain relieving patch. Works great! Relatively inexpensive. Comes in different sizes. Right before it rains, I often get horrible arthritis related lower back pain problems. I put on the patch and I am able to type almost pain free. try to negotiate for a lower APR before going to CCC & use the word "hardship"
Search Google for credit info center they have great advice there.
Try to negotiate for a lower APR yourself first.
First call and threaten to cancel, (but do not cancel if they don't help!) and that might get you a lower APR.
If that fails write or call back,you have to say the word "hardship" to them to really work with you if you are not 60 days past due...that is the magic word. Their hardship plan and CCCS looks the same on your credit report, at least you control it by doing it yourself.

I had/have the same problem. I finally made up my mind to exercise, so I joined the local YMCA. I couldn't believe how much better I felt. Unfortunately, I haven't gone back since before Christmas -- and guess what? -- I'm started to feel the fatigue coming back.
I live in horrible winter weather country, so walking doesn't appeal to me during winter months. It is very difficult to make up your mind and do something about it, even though ya know your going to feel better. I'll get there - Good luck

I have been at roadside stands and never smelled them cooking nor saw them but mostly you see in stores like food depot. I know of no one who uses them. I am sure that various parts of the country have other foods that could turn a person's stomach. I remember a supposed pepperoni pizza I had 1 time in Buffalo and the tomatoes on it were whole like uncooked. Yuck for that. Everyone has a yuck I am sure.

As I sit here in the middle of the night pecking my lil ol fingers to the bone once again something has the dogs extremely upset. This has happened twice now... dogs barking and growling and staying all upset for about an hour, then something hits the side of my house, they continue to bark and carry on nonstop for about 30 minutes after that then they finally shut up. First time it happened called my hubby, he told me to get his big shotgun and told me which shells went in it. It's still got the shells in the chamber, all I gotta do is pump it and fire. I guess if it is somebody it's gonna scare the H*** out of them and maybe they will leave me alone. Hey, who knows, might actually be some stress relief while I'm sitting here working on crap and not making anything more than peanuts! Heheheheee... maybe next time it happens it will coincide with the PMS monster.

I agree, although I am not quite old enough to be a grandma yet, we still got spankings, but not too many because after 1 or 2, we usually learned our lesson. I spank my kids too, when they need it, just a swat on the butt usually does the trick. I also agree with the switches suggestion, better yet make HIM go pick it...good luck and God bless!

My daughter is 35 years old and has been having pain in left lower abdomen for quite some time . . .
She had a CT with oral and IV contrast and it was normal, but showed she had an enlarged uterus. Dr. called the next day and said she needs to go for ultrasound.
There is lots of cancer in the family, so my daughter is very concerned. Can any of you who have experienced this help out here. Thanks.

I'm not sure if Carly will be a regular or not. I would imagine she'll be on at least a few more episodes. I felt so bad when Christian did the lipstick thing. Still loving Christian, but I definitely didn't like the things he did last week. He's just jealous of Sean or at least that's the way I see it. I guess the way it's supposed to work (I'm on a N/T board), there is a short season for 2009, and then there is another season in 2010, but I think there's supposed to be another huge gab in between seasons.
