Did no one else watch that terrific game last night??? Yeah, the first half was almost a comedy with all the fumbling and wild passes, but if you saw it, you'd agree that the second half is what the Super Bowl is all about!
Of course, I'm a New Yorker, so it's Giants all the way (though, being a woman I fell a little bad that the Patriots had to break their winning streak on the Super Bowl).
Oh, and is it just me, or was that halftime show a real stinker? I turned it off and watched some of "The Closer." I don't know Tom Petty much, but if that is him at his best, I don't understand why he's so popular.
Anybody else a football watcher out there?

Go Giants sm
I agree with your post. I happen to be a Tom Petty fan from the 80s (I am now 40). My older brother and I could not understand who chose T. Petty as he hasn't had a hit in years.
We watched the game at my parent's house and my mother decided at 4 minutes left in the game "We need to clean up the kitchen" meaning me and her. I was shocked but you don't say "NO" to mom. My son kept running back and forth with a commentary of the game. Needless to say I definitely missed the most exciting part. LOL! Good thing I am not a "die-hard" fan.
Giants' blue
You know what confused me? I have always, always seen the Giants in blue, and to see them in a different color just rocked me! And then, of course, the coach was wearing the regular blue jacket, which was even more confusing! We were halfway through the first quarter before I stopped automatically looking at the blue jerseys to be the Giants!
GREAT GAME. GIANTS FAN HERE
even though they should be the New Jersey Giants since they play at the Meadowlands. LOL. I am from Northern New Jersey. The Patriots looked lack luster to me. I was waiting for them to just explode but they didn't and glad they didn't. The last touchdown was the clincher but still got nervous when the Pats got the ball back. The best play, I thought, was when Eli almost got sacked and threw that terrific pass to Tyre who made a spectular catch. My heart was pounding. BEST GAME EVER. Been a Giants fan for many, many years. My dad went to high school with Alex Webster, who was a Giants coach at one time. When my parents got married in 1954 a few of the Giants players at that time CRASHED my parents wedding. My mom was not thrilled but my dad and the guy guests were. LOL
Gonna watch the parade on TV tomorrow at 11 a.m. Too bad it is supposed to be raining but I am sure they won't care.
GO GIANTS. Loyal fan. Live about 45 minutes from stadium.
What is going on with all the chili. That must be a Superbowl staple. We are having it too, Steak Chili, wings and salad. Some beer too. But before the BIG GAME, we are in the process of gutting our den. Wish I had the BIG SCREEN TV for tomorrow. GO BIG BLUE.
