If you could find more work, would
you be able to put in longer days, or are you working long days already? Lots of us MTs, myself included, are having to 2 jobs to make ends meet nowadays. I don't know the ages of your kids if it is feasible or not to work more hours, but you should consider that before bankruptcy. Your husband could be a Mr. Mom if he is not working and make it easier for you to make that extra $400 a month. You should be able to do that in a couple extra hours a day. Good luck.
So sorry did not work but google around I am sure you will find it##
.
Obviously, he is stressed out, but what's he doing to find work?
NM
Wow, you're paranoid. You need to find a job.
xx
What you said about being advertised
as being a work at home with the kids is why this job is not taken seriously anymore. Loads and I mean loads of posts here complaining of interuptions, people not thinking you are truly working, and on and on. Thank goodness I worked away from home in a time when the money was BIG and I could afford to do any and everything I wanted including keeping a home running, traveling to exotic places with the kids and basically buying when and what I wanted. The pay scale now is just pennies on the dollars compared to what we used to make but, guess what- get to spend time raising the kids, never mind about the loss of money or the lot being looked up as glorified typists, getting to stay at home, it seems, is the very top priority here. Oh by the way, I do think society is entirely to blame for the kids now, so much pussy-footing around, not wanting to upset the children and being there for their every beck and call. The schools are out of control, I feel sorry for the teachers- families are not doing what they should to raise children even if they are working from home. My DIL is a parapro and tells me how out of control even kids in kindergarten are. Really sad.
The one I saw advertised was
www.polarmeds.com They have a good website. I just worry about the quality of the meds. Have to do something to cut down my drug bills. I'm trying to switch to a lot of generics so I can buy them at Wal-Mart.
We loved our piggies, too, and they live for several years if you're lucky. Find

Anyone watching House? They advertised it as
'the most shocking' blah blah blah. Has the most shocking thing happened yet & I missed it? I was on the phone for a few minutes...
Wow, talk about being on the defensive! Yes, I have children, but I don't work when they're pl
I'm single, too, pay the bills all by my little bitty self. I'm in the same boat, but I don't put my children in potentially precarious situations by working and not paying attention to them. You are zoned into the headphones while your children are playing around with stuff they're not supposed to. You should justify my post with a response, but one that is more along the lines of..."you know, you're right. I should work my schedule when the children aren't into things and I'm not watching." Incidentally, I work and sleep nights when my children are sleeping. I work 6 days a week and crank out around 2500 lines a night. I have my shortcuts streamlined to the point where most of the dictation that comes in I have a shortcut for, so I can produce a very large volume of lines in a very short period of time. I have somewhere around 60,000 shortcut entries in my PCShorthand. My children go to bed at 8 PM and that's when I start work. I go to bed at 1 AM and get up about 7 AM. I get about 6 hours of sleep a night and for me that's plenty and I function just fine. During the day, I am able to spend quality time with my children, take them to the doctor, do the shopping, pay the bills, school functions, etc., so it's a sacrifice I'm willing to take, plus it was easier finding a night job than a day job. Of course, there's absolutely no time for a boyfriend since I have the full time job of transcribing and the full time job of being a mother, but maybe one day that will be an option.
try gentle leader
You can also try using a product called Gentle Leader. It goes around the dog's head and is not considered cruel by pet trainers. The dog can open their mouth and function normally, but the idea is that it pulls in an unusual way and makes the dog keep their head up. My dog is just as frustrating as yours. They get used to the constant pulling at their neck and think it is normal. Retraining was too hard and frustrating for me so I used this product that was recommended by a dog trainer at Petsmart. Although he is still kind of a pain, I don't have near the amount of trouble walking my dog anymore. I just keep him on a short leash at the beginning of the walk and close to my side until he calms down from the excitement. When he behaves he gets more leash. When he is naughty and pulling he gets about a foot of leash. It works well for us.
The women are gentle pickers.
Men just grab and bruise, women pick.
If you are in S.E. GA here is a site for , Tattnall Farms..U-pick farms. This site gives a listing and directions to farms as well as what items they sell and when they are in season.
I use a lash tint. Very gentle and looks

Dreft detergent and 20 Mule Team Borax for stubborn stains, gentle on baby's skin..sm
and hypoallergenic. Works very well on those burp-up stains, ya know, the ones with Poly-Vi-Sol vitamins.
I don't suppose many of you are old enough to remember cloth diapers and diaper pins, plastic pants that went over them to contain leakage, Dreft detergent or 20 Mule Team Borax and heaven forbid knowing how to clean them! Ask your grandmothers how it was done. And you think you have it rough with disposable diapers! Cat
That's what my dentist will say, too.
It's just $600 for a crown that my insurance won't cover. Yikes!
My DH needs to go to the dentist, he refuses. We have been
married 18 years and he hasn't been since we've been married. I told him I would make an appointment for him and the rest of the family to go and we'd do it all at once and he is adamant that he is NOT going. I don't know why he doesn't want to go. I know they will tell him he needs lots of work because he does. His teeth are rotten, but stained badly and I feel like it is holding him back from advancing in the job market. I'm going to make appointments tomorrow for the whole family and tell him he's going too. He'll have to cancel the appointment if he's not going to go and I'm don't plan on telling him the name of the dentist (we are going to a new one since my kids have aged out of the pediatric dentist).
At next cleaning, would use another dentist
xx
It has already been discussed with the dentist and
her orthodontist. The damage comes from over use of any product, including those treatments one can receive in the dental office setting.
absolutely, but the dentist said that it is...
because of too much sugar and not brushing her teeth in the report. He said he stressed the importance of good oral hygeine, et cetera.
The dentist we go to charges
We have insurance. Have you asked your primary care doctor if there is a clinic or something like that to take care of your husband's dental care? It's worth a shot. I had heard something about dentists in training offering cleaning and such for a much cheaper rate. I think the obstacle would be if they found a cavity or whatever. Good luck to you! By the way, we are on the East Coast, so not sure if prices vary by region or not.
Update about dentist from below post sm
My dentist called me last night and apologized. She is doing to write off the difference. She was very nice and I told her I'm not one to complain and I'm not a cheat either. So we worked out stuff and I will continue to go to her.
Excellent suggestion on the dentist
He has a cleaning scheduled in June (the soonest we could get him in without missing school) and at 17 he has never had a cavity. Well, the last time he was there was about 8 months ago so he was 16 then if we want to get technical. LOL! Whew, I finally slept last night. Definitely starting to feel a bit better, but I did make his fav. dinner last night, lasagna, and while he ate just fine, normally there are very few leftovers and not even half was eaten. DD suddenly decided yesterday she no longer likes lasagna so all she ate was salad and bread. I know my radar is up now and I will be picking everything apart. Watching what he eats, if he goes to the bathroom shortly after eating, etc. Even though this has been tough, I put my parents through so much more. I really owe them an apology.
you have got the ole stick it to the dentist syndrome
I paid that bill also and it is awful. Tell the dentist you want a different prize.
Does your dentist grope your chest?
Woodland, CA — The attorney for a Woodland dentist told jurors that his client massaged women's chests as part of a medical treatment.
Defense attorney Michael Rothschild told the six-man, six-woman Yolo County jury that Mark Anderson was treating his female clients for temporomandibular disorder, or TMD. The attorney says the condition affects the muscles of the upper body.
Anderson faces 19 felony charges for skin-to-skin contact and one misdemeanor for touching a patient's breasts over her clothing. The incidents occurred between February 2005 and his arrest in August 2007 and brought complaints from 14 women.
One of the initial 20 felonies was dropped Monday as Rothschild and Deputy District Attorney Robert Gorman began closing arguments.
Closing arguments were to continue Tuesday before the case was to go to the jury.
I would also opt for dentures. But get a really good dentist....sm
Sooner or later you will have to get dentures anyways, it looks like that.
Whatfor AL the pain and torture in between?
And do not accept dentures that do not fit or are uncomfortable. Send them back to the lab until the fit is perfect, this is your right, dentures are expensive and if they do not fit right, you will have all sorts of pain, headaches etc...
I had bridges done and I sent them back thrice until they fit, without extra charge. The fist set looked like a 'rollercoaster'!
It seems that you suffered your whole life from calcium deficiency.
My dentist office charges if you miss - sm
your appt. (or don't call and cancel 24-hours ahead) But they had me sign a paper acknowledging that they told me this and that I agree to the terms. This sounds totally bogus and a scam to boot. Good luck.
Our dentist recommends Crest Whitestrips
My dentist says SOFT toothbrush, never firm!
All these years, everyone thought stiff brushes were better than soft, and the harder and longer you brushed, the better. WRONG! I now have lots of cavity and root issues going on because I have essentially worn off much of the enamel on my teeth between the gumline and the center of the tooth. Have had to have more cavities filled, as well as lots of restorative work. Now I use a soft baby's toothbrush!
My dentist also recommend Crest strips
She said she could do the whitening but it would yield no better result than an OTC product. Check the website too, they may have coupons available that you can print or sign up to receive by mail. I'm finding a lot of brand name product websites do this now.
I had ZOOM in my dentist's office and am very pleased.
I tried Crest White Strips but they didn't do anything. Zoom was pricey, but my teeth were really yellow. They are much, MUCH nicer. I maintain with a 45-minute bleach at home twice a week. Right after I had my teeth whitened, I received a lot of compliments, but people couldn't quite figure out what was different. I heard a lot of "Did you get your hair cut?" and "Did you get new glasses?" LOL.
Tell you dentist to put 'veneers' over your teeth, if you can afford it nm

Without anesthesia, and done by a dentist with severe halitosis. :)
:)
It's true. My kids' dentist told me this yeas ago. sm
If the enamel is brushed away, it exposes the tooth first and they the root is invaded by the decay.
Gums should also be brushed as well as the tongue.
Knew a dentist Candy Treat - for real

A dentist who does breast exams should lose his licence. Besides...
I categorily refuse manual breast exams. If I want to check fir cancer, I go for a mommogram.
Find a lawyer, find out where you would stand - sm
in the event of a divorce/separation, regarding custody, house, etc. Custody was my main concern as well since I lied on numerous occasions about the finances. Where I am I was told that would not factor in to the custody at all. I can prove that I am my kids caregiver 90% of the time, I ferry they around everywhere, help with homework, get ready for school, meet at busstop, etc. I could also point out my husband is an alcoholic, self treats his depression with alcohol instead of getting proper medical treatment, has threatend to kill himself (or me) numerous times (though he always says he was joking and did not mean it.....that is his standard answer to everything, or that he never said that). Now I do love him enough to deal with all that because deep down inside my DH is full of it, luckily for me, he has never followed through on anything he says he is going to do. But I thought my confession would be the straw that broke it all and send him over the edge. He still is angry with me, I am sure he will be for a long time, but is keeping it together pretty well, though he has said the stress was going to kill him, now he know how I felt I guess. I am sorry your husband is such a smuck. I feel like a dog sometimes with the sex demands, have to do it the night before he goes out of town....he will be traveling a lot for work for the next 3-4 months, which I am more than glad about, much calmer here then, though it gets tiring for me but as he is not really helping much right now it really won't be much of a change. As for yours going on 5 day weekends.....have you considered having him followed, sounds like there may be some infidelity afoot, and if so that would strengthen your case in the event of a divorce and custody I would think. Sounds a bit fishy going out until 1 a.m. and his frequent trips. My DH fishes too, but he goes 2 miles from here with one of our male neighbors, they shoot the breeze and he gets to unwind some which I encourage. Very rare weekends with a buddy of his, I am talking once every 2 years, which again is fine with me. Start keeping track of all you do, when he is home, where he supposedly goes, with whom, etc. He cannot show he will be a responsible dad if he is never there or never interacts with his own kids. My DH would probably suggest I take our older daughter and he the younger, spliting them up, he has the same perception, the oldest is mine, the youngest is his. Our younger daughter is much easier to deal with, our older daughter drives him nuts and she is only 10. My younger one (8) knows something has been going one though, and worries we will divorce, which she does not want. She is very perceptive for her years. I hope that if you do go the divorce route, which would actually probably be best in your situation, that it all works out for you and you get your fair share of assets, etc. Make sure before you do anything like that you have all your ducks in a row, so talk to divorce lawyer. I talked to one for 45 minutes, cost me $160 but was worth it to set my mind at ease. Good luck.
Yes - does not work! Hoax if you ask me. MetaboLife doesn't work either.
The only thing that works for me is exercise and eating correctly! No quick fix, unfortunately.
You're not 'low-class', you're FUNNY, & a good writer!
Which is often the case then someone is the first to cast stones!
You're surprised? I'm not. They're not going to stop voting....
as was mentioned in a prior post. Imagine if they succeed? They just may.
At least you wait until they're cooked! LOL...we're raw dough

I TRIED to work, WANTED to work, but
So now I have to scramble for the rest of the week, trying to catch up on what I didn't do today. And of course, working today was in hopes of catching up on whatI didn't do last week. This job is a never-ending hamster-wheel of lunacy.
Please let us know if you find it...nm

How do I find out
where this person has his banking account? I cannot believe a person would just snub their nose at a court action. Had it been the other way around, I am sure I would probably be under the jail as we speak!!
i find that
exercising daily helps and stretching REALLY REALLY helps. sometimes my entire back feels as if i have been beat with a baseball bat. it is hard for anyone to understand unless they have the same condition. also, not eating sugar helps me, especially my joints. i take ibuprofen when i cannot stand it any more and then i take 600 to 800 mg every 3 hours for a couple days. that eases the pain. i do not take any other pain medication.
good luck to you and may you have more and more pain-free days.
cannot find this
Can you possibly e-mail with the info, I cannot access it as given for some reason. Thanks
What will they do when they find out
I would like to think he could find something

Only way to find out if he is just not that into you.
